Would have been a five star if not for the parking facility. Out of that, it was a five star stay!! The staff was fantastic and the whole hotel was beautiful.

The grounds and building are beautiful, with a beautiful art collection, delicious breakfast, multiple bars available, and rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the Sea. Water is across street with unobstructed views. Beds are very comfortable. Shower and bath have amazing pressure and unlimited hot water. The downside is there is no elevator, the pool is not heated, and the towels need replacing, they are all frayed. Small but significant for the price you are paying per night. The service is 5 stars and staff are always helpful..

We went for a romantic getaway. We wanted a seaside town with a very relaxing atmosphere and a convenient hotel and a convenient and safe location. This was perfect. The staff was unbelievable the food and the breakfast was awesome. They were very very personable. Excellent private parking. Easy access to the local shops and the city center on the beach. Excellent walking everything was just perfect.

prachtig uitzicht, kamer en gebouw zeer schoon. Ontbijt: heerlijke koffie en lekker ontbijt, maar zeer weinig aanbod qua keuze en qua hoeveelheid. nieuwe verkeerssituatie -> met eigen auto (bijna) niet te bereiken (zelfs receptioniste kon de route niet foutloos uitleggen). inrit tot hotel/parkeerplaats zeer smal door parkerende auto's op toegangsweg. Geen bezoekers op kamer, bij pool met extra betaling. geen service bij de pool. geen sleutel voor de buitendeur. Deze wordt altijd door receptionist(e) geopend. Net als in gevangenis. We voelden ons opgesloten. Bij de pool lagen houden planken los -> gevaar voor wonden aan de voeten door spijkers e.d. Geen service op mooi dakterras -> er zat nooit iemand (langer dan 10 min). 1 receptioniste kwam niet gastvrij over. Kamer: mooi uitzicht, ruim, schoon.

This property is the perfect property for a stay in Mondello! It is so well appointed with lovely amenities. It is a boutique hotel in the true sense. The rooms included robes and beach towels for convenience. Our room had a lovely balcony view over looking the street and a public parking area where people observe the sunset. We were there during the quieter part of summer so noise was not an issue. The walk to the lidos is about 15 min. The hotel offers rental of e-bikes for the day which was convenient for getting around. There is also a private parking lot for no extra cost which is extremely convenient given the scarcity of parking. Room service was excellent and the breakfast with made to order omlette is perfect! The grounds are so peaceful and well manicured and made for a lovely place to relax. Our junior suite was perfect with a beautiful front balcony and rear terrace with jacuzzi! Perfect Romantic getaway!

Every single thing about Unico Hotel d’Arte was exceptional. We arrived late at night & were greeted so warmly. They were well prepared for us and very personal & attentive/helpful towards us from that moment on (eg, knew our names, helped us park our car and get settled, knew my husband’s birthday & unexpectedly brought us a Prosecco toast!) The hotel is small & intimate, but is designed with meticulous & stylish attention to detail: from large well-placed windows (with incredible motorized blackout shades!) to unique pieces of art everywhere, a stunning infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous sea & coastline, a rooftop patio with a large hot tub and views for miles! The (included) breakfast is abundant & gourmet, with fresh squeezed juice and made-to-order omelettes with table-service on the poolside patio. So elegant and delicious! And in addition to the comfort, privacy and beauty of the physical premises (bravo! to the architect and designer), we most enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of every single staff member: Giusy (reception) Pierpaolo (cook) Rosalba (reception) Fabrizio (made us Nutella pancakes at midnight!) Megan (riccia) Antonio (nightman) Monica (reception) Rosy & Lucia (housekeepers) We loved every minute of our stay here!

What an amazing hotel. Everything is maintained to a high standard. The staff are brilliant and genuinely go out their way to be helpful and friendly. The hotel and our room exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was amazing and a great way to start your day. The facilities were brilliant ... Lots of room especially around the pool. It was lovely staying in a boutique hotel with only 8 rooms ... It made for a very personable service. We also enjoyed seeing all the artwork throughout the hotel and our room. I can't find a single fault. We will definitely come back.

The staff at Unico is amazing, the absolute best. We were treated like family and the feeling was mutual. We loved them all. The hotel itself is gorgeous, intimate, and luxurious. The pool is stunning. There's a hot tub on the rooftop patio with gorgeous views of the sea from both the roof and the pool area. The service to the pool and hot tub was superior. Our afternoon cocktails came with delicious treats. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We hope to return one day. We loved it.

Breakfast was excellent! The hot tub wasn’t working, but the staff was very helpful and attentive. Mattress was very comfortable. The room on the ground floor did not feel private—the balcony opened out right above the street, but they did what they could to build brush around so nobody could see in. The pool was beautiful, and the views were spectacular.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a stunning view. A quiet oasis whether you are returning from the buzz of time in Palermo or from the gorgeous shallow waters of Mondello beach. Staff are so welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, care and attention to every detail. Modern spotlessly clean accommodation, exceptional well thought out poolside design gardens, breakfast on the terrace does not get better than this!

Fantastisk lille hotel med kun 8 værelser med en unik service. Vi havde et værelse med havudsigt og en lille terrasse. Morgenmaden er glimrende og rengøringen i top. Klar anbefaling herfra.

My wife and I stayed there for 6 days as we toured the west coast of Sicily. The hotel was very comfortable, had a beautiful view, and a good value for the price. The staff was warm and very accommodating. We reserved the suite, which was vey spacious.

Schönes Zimmer, obwohl nicht alles funktionierte. Fernseher war nicht angeschlossen, kein Empfang. Mini-Kühlschrank war defekt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt Dir nach Möglichkeit alle Wünsche. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und der Pool sauber. Ich kann das Hotel klar empfehlen.
Schönes Zimmer, obwohl nicht alles funktionierte. Fernseher war nicht angeschlossen, kein Empfang. Mini-Kühlschrank war defekt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt Dir nach Möglichkeit alle Wünsche. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und der Pool sauber. Ich kann das Hotel klar empfehlen.

We have travelled to many places around the world and the Hotel Unico d’art is right up there with the very best. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Monica who along with the rest of the staff could not have been more warm and friendly and helpful to us. Our room with a large terrace and private large jacuzzi was fantastic. The pool area overlooked the sea and provided a very quiet and tranquil atmosphere to enjoy. There are ample sunbeds although we often had the whole pool to ourselves. The staff were always available to serve drinks and snacks during the day or evening. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice and a menu to select hot food if desired. The rooftop terrace provided a lovely area to relax and enjoy the wonderful views of Mondello Bay. The hotel is an easy walk into Mondello square where there are numerous restaurants to choose from . The hotel is right on the coast and a short walk to the beaches. We had the best holiday here and will definitely be back again soon.

This hotel is a gem!!! Large room with a balcony and a direct sea view. Large bathroom. Very stylish. Mondello is the upscale beach town nearest Palermo. As Palermo is a rather gritty and crowded city, staying at this house and commuting to Palermo for meetings or siteseeing is a realistic option. As it's an easy 20 minute drive to the airport, we stayed here the night before an early morning flight. We recommend this property highly.

This property is the perfect property for a stay in Mondello! It is so well appointed with lovely amenities. It is a boutique hotel in the true sense. The rooms included robes and beach towels for convenience. Our room had a lovely balcony view over looking the street and a public parking area where people observe the sunset. We were there during the quieter part of summer so noise was not an issue. The walk to the lidos is about 15 min. The hotel offers rental of e-bikes for the day which was convenient for getting around. There is also a private parking lot for no extra cost which is extremely convenient given the scarcity of parking. Room service was excellent and the breakfast with made to order omlette is perfect! The grounds are so peaceful and well manicured and made for a lovely place to relax. Our junior suite was perfect with a beautiful front balcony and rear terrace with jacuzzi! Perfect Romantic getaway!

Breakfast was excellent! The hot tub wasn’t working, but the staff was very helpful and attentive. Mattress was very comfortable. The room on the ground floor did not feel private—the balcony opened out right above the street, but they did what they could to build brush around so nobody could see in. The pool was beautiful, and the views were spectacular.

From the receptionist to the breakfast servers and cleaning crew, all employees that I intersected with were kind, friendly and ready to assist. The location of the hotel in walking distance to the town square including restaurants was ideal. Each morning I would rise early and go for a walk along the sea front, it was ideal.

Hospitality at its best! Lovely stay at this wonderful oceanfront property. Breakfast is the best we have had in our travels through Italy. We relaxed in the modern and peaceful pool area. Much needed after all of the sightseeing in Palermo. The staff was warm, kind, and attentive to guests' needs. Mondello is a gem and this is the best place to stay. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Booked this hotel from August 10-13. Upon arrival, received a call of a family member being rushed to hospital. Advised front desk that we would not be able to stay for our reservation. Hotel owner, Monica Mirri, was off property and communicating with her staff. Refused to speak to us and refused to accommodate our emergency situation. Refused to refund us our money entirely unless “she sold the room to someone else for the dates”. Offered a voucher which wouldn’t work for us as we are from Canada and were leaving Italy shortly afterwards. Hotel staff refused to give us the copies they made of our passports so after the receptionist, Rosalba, mistakenly dropped the papers - I picked them up. They accused me of taking with force, the owner threatened to call the police on me and use legal action against me because I have the entire occurrence recorded. Expedia has yet to help me achieve my money back for a service I did not use. Monica Mirri is a terrible owner and I would advise anyone to avoid this hotel at all costs. I have video recordings and documentation from the hotel that she would only consider refunding my money if she secured another booking. This is not how hospitality works. I will be pursing further action until I am compensated.

The staff at Unico is amazing, the absolute best. We were treated like family and the feeling was mutual. We loved them all. The hotel itself is gorgeous, intimate, and luxurious. The pool is stunning. There's a hot tub on the rooftop patio with gorgeous views of the sea from both the roof and the pool area. The service to the pool and hot tub was superior. Our afternoon cocktails came with delicious treats. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We hope to return one day. We loved it.

Highly recommend!!! I could not say enough great things about this stay. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and private with a stunning infinity pool and rooftop deck great for sunset and a nightcap. The staff go far out of their way to help and were so kind. They assisted us in finding massages to the room, Vespa rental, having my wife’s hair done in the room, and restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend for anyone booking in Palermo or Mondello Bay.

Very comfortable hotel right off the water, close to the City square. Staff was wonderful, the room clean & comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our tour of Italy. We stayed at the beginning of December and loved it, can't imagine how nice it is in the Spring and Summer. Stay here.

Loved it here. Amazing view. The staff was so friendly, and the location in Mondello was walking distance to everything in Mondello. Highly recommend having a car though to get to the rest of Palermo. I usually don't stay at the same place twice, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back here.

Every single thing about Unico Hotel d’Arte was exceptional. We arrived late at night & were greeted so warmly. They were well prepared for us and very personal & attentive/helpful towards us from that moment on (eg, knew our names, helped us park our car and get settled, knew my husband’s birthday & unexpectedly brought us a Prosecco toast!) The hotel is small & intimate, but is designed with meticulous & stylish attention to detail: from large well-placed windows (with incredible motorized blackout shades!) to unique pieces of art everywhere, a stunning infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous sea & coastline, a rooftop patio with a large hot tub and views for miles! The (included) breakfast is abundant & gourmet, with fresh squeezed juice and made-to-order omelettes with table-service on the poolside patio. So elegant and delicious! What an amazing hotel. Everything is maintained to a high standard. The staff are brilliant and genuinely go out their way to be helpful and friendly. The hotel and our room exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was amazing and a great way to start your day. The facilities were brilliant ... Lots of room especially around the pool. It was lovely staying in a boutique hotel with only 8 rooms ... It made for a very personable service. We also enjoyed seeing all the artwork throughout the hotel and our room. I can't find a single fault. We will definitely come back.

The staff at Unico is amazing, the absolute best. We were treated like family and the feeling was mutual. We loved them all. The hotel itself is gorgeous, intimate, and luxurious. The pool is stunning. There's a hot tub on the rooftop patio with gorgeous views of the sea from both the roof and the pool area. The service to the pool and hot tub was superior. Our afternoon cocktails came with delicious treats. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We hope to return one day. We loved it.

Very clean! Staff very helpful and friendly! Personally i didn’t enjoy the area around, although there are a lot of restaurants in walking distance. We had an issue with the AC but staff did try their best and gave us a fan in the room. If you looking for a clean and quiet place in this area, this hotel is an excellent choice!

Our disappointment in the mess that Mondello square is due to the destruction and reconstruction of the square was far overshadowed by this lovely and unique and over the top and professionally run hotel. Good breakfast and lunch food selection. Totally cool but perfect temperature infinity pool The professional staff managed by Monica and Rosalba is the very definition of hospitality. Again the condition of Mondello was negated by this wonderful wonderful property and team. Grazié We WILLNbe back and recommend boutique hotel. Rosario & Patti

Hotel was amazing! Loved the entirety of the hotel. Parking is a plus and location. Staff were very helpful although we asked for a taxi and it came 49 minutes later. Just an overall thought in Palermo, they are too relaxed and one should be aware of it.
