La Maison de la Ville is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are gracious, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated and the host, Simon, is delightful. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. Simon is a fantastic cook and the breakfast was delicious. But the most outstanding part of the experience was the tremendous warmth and hospitality of our host. The home is very close to the Magog main street and waterfront, so there is a great choice of restaurants close by, and the waterfront park is a lovely place for a pre or post dinner stroll. All in all, our experience at La Maison de la Ville was outstanding. Merci beaucoup Simon! A la prochaine!

We were looking for a place to stay one night in Magog, I hadn’t realized breakfast was included and it was stunning! I wish I took pictures, it tasted as good as it looked. I would definitely book again. Our host was welcoming and accommodating, letting us check in earlier and making sure we had a space in the parking lot to charge the car. Our room was small, but very comfortable, perfect for the night!

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of a one-night stay at La Maison de Ville (August 2, 2025). The accommodation in a century home was outstanding. Our room was one of four on the second floor. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom. There was a shared lounge area with television, Nespresso machine, toaster oven, fridge and balcony. Breakfast was fantastic. We started with a baked pear topped with apples, greens, sunflower and poppy seeds, and cream over caramel. That was followed by grilled eggplant, zucchini, another type of squash, poached egg, sunflower seeds and greens over toast. Coffee and the orange/pineapple juice were great. Presentation of the breakfast was first class. I appreciate the fact that Simon sources locally grown produce and goods. The location was perfect. It was one block from the lively restaurants and shops on rue Principale. Pointe-Merry Park and the lake were minutes away. Parking was free. Simon, the owner, was an outstanding host. Upon checking in, he asked if we had any dietary allergies. He offered suggestions about what we could see and do during our stay. During breakfast he explained the dishes that were served, and also took time to detail the extensive renovations and history of his 20 year ownership of this fabulous bed and breakfast. It was obvious that Simon is a trained chef. Our only regret was that we only stayed just one night. We will definitely return. Thank you, Simon.

Best place to stay in Magog! The home was clean, the family operating it was extremely friendly, the breakfast was fabulous! The home was very clean and very nicely decorated. There were beautiful details everywhere I looked. The common areas, the hallways and stairs, and the rooms. My room was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable. The room had it's own bath and toilet. The shower and bath were very nice. The room had heat and air conditioning. The common areas were very nice, including a sitting room on the second floor, a deck off that room and the front porch. The dining area was very comfortable. The breakfast was worth the trip by itself. It was 5-star, not just pancakes and scrambled eggs. The family operating the home (Simon and his parents) are super nice, friendly and welcoming. Simon is an outstanding cook. Parking was a little tight but there is enough off-street parking for three or four cars and then parking on the street if needed. The B&B is only one block from the main activity downtown. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Magog and strongly recommend it.

Nous avons aimé notre visite à La maison de ville, les chambres sont bien décorées et très propre. l'insonorisation est bonne puisque nous n'avons pas été dérangé par les déplacements de nos voisins de chambres. Nous y reviendrons certainement. Aussi, il y a une borne électrique sur la près près de la maison. Simon, chef cuisinier et propriétaire de la maison est très avenant c'est lui qui prépare l'excellent déjeuner de sa création du moment.

Charmant bed and breakfast bien situé juste à côté de la rue Principale, à distance de marche. Stationnement pratique. Quel accueil du propriétaire, Simon. La décoration est magnifique, l'ambiance des lieux communs est parfaite, jusqu'aux moindres détails (petites lumières au toit de la terrasse, douce musique francophone). Mais le clou et ce qui fait que cet endroit est un incontournable, c'est le déjeuner!!! Juste exceptionnel et impossible à décrire!

This was a perfect stay for us while in Magog. This B&B is in a perfect location and convenient to downtown shopping. The owner, Simon Beaupre', was a perfect host and is a wonderful chef. His breakfast creations were simply amazing! Not only were his creations beautiful, the food was delicious. We were able to stay in two of the five rooms. Night #1 we stayed in room #5, which is the only room on the ground floor. It is a smaller room with a small corner shower, which is great if you are only staying a day or two. This room is the most convenient to the dining area and the front porch. Rooms #1 - #4 are on the second floor, as is the parlor, which is accessible for all patrons. If you have difficulty negotiating stairs, and room #5 is unavailable, you will not want to book your stay at this B&B. We truly enjoyed our stay and will look to staying here on future travels to Magog. We highly recommend this B&B for those looking for a quaint stay at 100+ year old home in downtown Magog. You will enjoy Simon's amazing breakfast. Simon can also serve dinners for those who pre-arrange this service with 4 or more.

This is the quintessential inn you’ve been dreaming of, complete with cozy rooms, fun decorations, a comfy upstairs lounge and deck and a gracious inn keeper. Best of all were the delicious over-the-top 2-course breakfasts. We also had an awesome four course gourmet dinner.

Simon is an excellent host and a professional chef. Our 3 breakfasts were all exceptional both in flavour and in presentation! The house is an older home in need of some paint and repair, which is currently being done. It is well situated within walking distance to the lake and many restaurants. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this B&B and would recommend it to friends.

Pour notre deuxième visite à cet endroit, c'était à nouveau un séjour parfait et nous allons continuer d'en faire une tradition. C'est très bien situé, à deux pas de la rue principale avec boutiques et restaurants. Propreté impeccable, décor enchanteur, ambiance chaleureuse, accueil parfait. Le propriétaire, Simon, va aux devants des moindres désirs de tous. Et surtout, surtout, les déjeuners sont les meilleurs que vous aurez mangés et dignes d'un restaurant 5 étoiles. Cet endroit semble être le secret le mieux gardé de Magog, mais l'essayer, c'est l'adopter!

Absolument parfait! Superbe maison d’époque, magnifiquement entretenu et décoré avec soin. D’ailleurs, pour les amateurs d’objets anciens, ceux-ci peuvent être achetés s’ils vous plaisent. Salle de bain complète dans la chambre, rare dans le B&B, avec bain sur pattes. Propreté exemplaire. Bien situé, sur une rue résidentielle à côté de la distillerie Cherry River, à un coin de rue de la rue Principale, et à 5 minutes de marche du Lac Memphrémagog. Et que dire de Simon, chef-propriétaire, de sa belle énergie et de ses déjeuners « gastronomiques »? Vous allez l’adorer lui aussi.

Merveilleux séjour à la maison de ville – Bed & bistro ! La maison est parfaitement située dans Magog. Nous n’avons pas eu à utiliser la voiture pendant notre séjour ! Nous avons apprécié le décor chaleureux et la propreté de la maison ! Simon le proprio est très accueillant et sympathique ! Le déjeuner à lui seul vaut le détour ! tout à fait délicieux ! Nous reviendrons assurément.

This property is deceiving from the outside. It’s a cute building on the outside but the paint was peeling and the back driveway area a bit cluttered. Inside is beautifully and tastefully decorated - it’s very charming. Simon is a wonderful host and a superb chef. I can’t recommend the dinner and breakfast highly enough. He is such a talented chef. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his bed and bistro. It was an experience and both my husband and I are so pleased we went.

La Maison de la Ville is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are gracious, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated and the host, Simon, is delightful. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. Simon is a fantastic cook and the breakfast was delicious. But the most outstanding part of the experience was the tremendous warmth and hospitality of our host. The home is very close to the Magog main street and waterfront, so there is a great choice of restaurants close by, and the waterfront park is a lovely place for a pre or post dinner stroll. All in all, our experience at La Maison de la Ville was outstanding. Merci beaucoup Simon! A la prochaine!

Ce gîte de 5 chambres est absolument charmant! Le petit-déjeuner gastronomique et original vaut le détour, préparé et servi avec soin par le sympathique propriétaire Simon qui a été super chaleureux et attentionné avec nous, Ce B&B est situé en plein coeur de Magog, à seulement quelques minutes à pied des restaurants de la rue principale et de la salle de spectacle Le Vieux Clocher. Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans la chambre « La première » qui est très tranquille car située à l’arrière de la maison, à l’étage, un peu à l’écart des autres chambres. Elle n’est pas très grande mais très bien équipée et super confortable. Une magnifique découverte, nous y retournerons!

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of a one-night stay at La Maison de Ville (August 2, 2025). The accommodation in a century home was outstanding. Our room was one of four on the second floor. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom. There was a shared lounge area with television, Nespresso machine, toaster oven, fridge and balcony. Breakfast was fantastic. We started with a baked pear topped with apples, greens, sunflower and poppy seeds, and cream over caramel. That was followed by grilled eggplant, zucchini, another type of squash, poached egg, sunflower seeds and greens over toast. Coffee and the orange/pineapple juice were great. Presentation of the breakfast was first class. I appreciate the fact that Simon sources locally grown produce and goods. The location was perfect. It was one block from the lively restaurants and shops on rue Principale. Pointe-Merry Park and the lake were minutes away. Parking was free. Simon, the owner, was an outstanding host. Upon checking in, he asked if we had any dietary allergies. He offered suggestions about what we could see and do during our stay. During breakfast he explained the dishes that were served, and also took time to detail the extensive renovations and history of his 20 year ownership of this fabulous bed and breakfast. It was obvious that Simon is a trained chef. Our only regret was that we only stayed just one night. We will definitely return. Thank you, Simon.

Best place to stay in Magog! The home was clean, the family operating it was extremely friendly, the breakfast was fabulous! The home was very clean and very nicely decorated. There were beautiful details everywhere I looked. The common areas, the hallways and stairs, and the rooms. My room was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable. The room had it's own bath and toilet. The shower and bath were very nice. The room had heat and air conditioning. The common areas were very nice, including a sitting room on the second floor, a deck off that room and the front porch. The dining area was very comfortable. The breakfast was worth the trip by itself. It was 5-star, not just pancakes and scrambled eggs. The family operating the home (Simon and his parents) are super nice, friendly and welcoming. Simon is an outstanding cook. Parking was a little tight but there is enough off-street parking for three or four cars and then parking on the street if needed. The B&B is only one block from the main activity downtown. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Magog and strongly recommend it.

This was a perfect stay for us while in Magog. This B&B is in a perfect location and convenient to downtown shopping. The owner, Simon Beaupre', was a perfect host and is a wonderful chef. His breakfast creations were simply amazing! Not only were his creations beautiful, the food was delicious. We were able to stay in two of the five rooms. Night #1 we stayed in room #5, which is the only room on the ground floor. It is a smaller room with a small corner shower, which is great if you are only staying a day or two. This room is the most convenient to the dining area and the front porch. Rooms #1 - #4 are on the second floor, as is the parlor, which is accessible for all patrons. If you have difficulty negotiating stairs, and room #5 is unavailable, you will not want to book your stay at this B&B. We truly enjoyed our stay and will look to staying here on future travels to Magog. We highly recommend this B&B for those looking for a quaint stay at 100+ year old home in downtown Magog. You will enjoy Simon's amazing breakfast. Simon can also serve dinners for those who pre-arrange this service with 4 or more.

The hotel is very easy to find and has off-street parking. The owner, Simon, could hardly be friendlier or more helpful. He told us that, as a chef, he is an artist. At breakfast our first morning there, we found he was not exaggerating. The rooms are smallish but very comfortable. The wifi was easily logged into and was plenty speedy. The shower in our room was very European — read "snug", but we were able to look into other rooms (on our first night there, we were the hotel's only guests) and saw that the shower facilities were roomier. We live not too very far from Magog and, on future visits there, would definitely stay at Maison de Ville again.

What a fantastic stay! Simon was amazing, so welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was quaint, cozy, and full of charm, perfect for a relaxing getaway. To top it all off, the breakfast was absolutely incredible, delicious and beautifully prepared by Simon. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend this bed-and-breakfast. Can’t wait to come back again!

We were looking for a place to stay one night in Magog, I hadn’t realized breakfast was included and it was stunning! I wish I took pictures, it tasted as good as it looked. I would definitely book again. Our host was welcoming and accommodating, letting us check in earlier and making sure we had a space in the parking lot to charge the car. Our room was small, but very comfortable, perfect for the night!

Simon was amazing! Our party came into Magog after midnight needing an extra room, and Simon accommodated us cheerfully. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with interesting collectibles. And the breakfast was really first class!

Simon the host and chef was fabulous. He was very helpful in show us the highlights of Magog, such a hospitable and welcoming host. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished. Simon thought of everything that a guest might need when away from home. The breakfast was over the top and the dinner was extraordinary. All this because of Simon is such a great host .

The breakfast was gourmet quality. Certainly the best we have ever had in all our travels (we’re in our 70s and have traveled a lot). Simon, our host, couldn’t have been more helpful as we planned our 3 day stay in Magog. We highly recommend this property.

C'est très bien situé, à deux pas de la rue principale avec boutiques et restaurants. Propreté impeccable, décor enchanteur, ambiance chaleureuse, accueil parfait. Le propriétaire, Simon, va aux devants des moindres désirs de tous. Et surtout, surtout, les déjeuners sont les meilleurs que vous aurez mangés et dignes d'un restaurant 5 étoiles. Cet endroit semble être le secret le mieux gardé de Magog, mais l'essayer, c'est l'adopter!

A lovely experience! The B&B is beautifully designed in a Victorian-style home. The location couldn't be better—right in downtown Magog, just a two-minute walk from the lake. Simon, the owner, is a trained chef and artist who prepares exceptional multi-course, five-star breakfasts. If you're a gourmet, you should definitely stay here!

The breakfasts are delicious works of culinary artistry, beautifully presented, and they kept me going practically until dinner. I couldn't wait for the next morning to what we get next. Simon is a generous, engaging and resourceful host who gave helpful suggestions when I asked about local sites. The flea market items for sale throughout the house made for fun browsing in every hallway and common room. I would come back to this unique place for sure, close to downtown and all sorts of restaurants. Abig thank you to Simon!

If I could award 10 stars, I would! Simon was a great host and a fabulous chef. We had probably the best breakfasts ever. And the special dinner he prepared for our group on Valentines Day was absolutely spectacular.

Owner Simon was such a great host. The highlight of our stay was definitely the 5 stars breakfast. We expected the usual continental one, however, to our surprise, it was a seated, very gastronomic, delicious two course meal. Thank you Simon.

We had such a delightful time at La Maison. Simon the host was incredibly gracious, friendly and helpful. The inn is just charming--and comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world and starting with an amazing fruit bowl that included grilled pineapple and creme fraishe. He then made a poached egg wrapped in prosciutto, cheese and a croissant. The coffee was strong and smooth. We will be back!

This is the quintessential inn you’ve been dreaming of, complete with cozy rooms, fun decorations, a comfy upstairs lounge and deck and a gracious inn keeper. Best of all were the delicious over-the-top 2-course breakfasts. We also had an awesome four course gourmet dinner.

Il n’y a que les chiffres qui parlent, 10/10, il n’y a pas photo, c’était parfait. Quel bonheur de sentir l’odeur de la préparation du déjeuner. Ce dernier était excellent. Aucun faux goût non plus concernant la décoration. Vous n’y allez pas en vous arrêtant à Magog, vous perdez vraiment quelque chose.

L’hôte est vraiment génial, il est vraiment là pour rendre ses clients heureux de leur séjour. L’endroit est impeccable, tout est là pour te simplifier la vie. Les déjeuners sont digne de grands restaurants!! Un gros WOW!!! Je recommande X 1000 ❤️
