The best luxury hotel in downtown Lakeland. Great downtown walkability for coffee, restaurants, shopping. Great Saturday morning farmers market downtown. Easy parking, lovely terrace for cocktails & beautiful lakes to walk around. Holiday lights are beautiful.

Paid extra for a suite that was very nice. A very luxury feeling. Parking is free on the premises. Its an old building that was nicely renovated while still maintaining a historical perspective. Across the street from Mirror lake made for a romantic walk, well lit. A block away from many restaurants.

Love this hotel but miss the days of full time bell and valet staff. I am sure that it was part of Hiltons plan. Love Hiltons and stay in them often, but for those boutique hotels which they purchase, they shouldn’t lose their autonomy and what has made them special. Bring back the wood fired pizzas!! Thank to the guest service lady this morning for retrieving my phone/watch chargers!!! We will be back!!

Great desk, and housekeeping service. The only problem we had at check-in was parking. The was nowhere near the hotel to park, so we ended up 2 or 3 blocks away and walked back just to check in. Their valet was full and would not allow temporary parking for check-in. Once you get in, and find the front desk, it's smooth sailing.

Only one elevator of the 2 appeared to be working. The elevator itself was VERY tiny and I had to wait for it on 4 different occasions as it was packed when it opened up on our floor. The shower door was very difficult to slide and it took me over 15-20 min to figure out where to put the dial so that I could get hot water. :(

I liked this place when I stayed a few times around 20 years ago, and it’s gotten even better. Every single person that works there and in their restaurant is a class act - very friendly, cheerful, (no hint on insincerity), helpful, etc. All details are covered including local bakery cookies on the desk in the evenings, abundant high quality umbrellas available, everything is spotless from the lobby areas to your room. Place just feels good, with tasteful feng shui, including the large front terrace, the hotel’s namesake, (perfect for relaxing, especially before or after dinner). Great, relaxing Comfy bed and pillows. Classic older building with a good views in all directions, especially the adjacent beautiful Mirror Lake, and the very nice and convenient downtown on the opposite adjacent side. Deserving its own highly rated review is the on-site Terrace Grille, a destination, special occasion, and foodie level restaurant. Excellent for breakfast, lunch, or especially dinner. If you’re visiting Lakeland, this is where you want to stay for sure, especially since the pricing is not that different from most good quality typical motels where you then have to drive to go anywhere.

The hotel and guest services were amazing. Excellent location and walkable to so many great restaurants as well as one downstairs. I had breakfast there. Great service. Gorgeous hotel. Only problem is the extremely LOUD AC unit.

Lovely hotel on a beautiful lake with dining options everywhere. I really have only one issue and that is the proximity to train and street noise. The trains ran until at least 3 o’clock and occasional street noise could be heard as well- and we were on the. 7th floor. Perhaps a room on the other end of the hotel would have worked better.

The people who work at this property from The valets to the front desk are the friendliest I've ever encountered. The location by the lake is awesome and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

In spite of booking few months in advance, the clerk gave us the worst room in the building that was on the lowest floor and view of HVAC ducts outside. his was contrary to what I was told at the time of booking. We had to go back to him for changing the room and he did it without any hesitation as there were plenty of rooms available. It appears that the staff is trained to give the worst product first and hope that client will take whatever is given to them. No Bell boy to carry the baggage from the entry door in this Tapestry Collection with the price that was quite high per room. Room service was not provided when we had confirmed for such before leaving the room. On our return we had to call back for this service. The door lock plate is without any screws and therefore is loose. Luckily door appeared to be secured. It appears that there may not be a maintenance team.

Very close to Hollis Gardens and Mirror Lake. Who doesn't like flowers and cute wild life around the lake. Definite bonus was the farmers market one street over as well. Very close to Hollis Gardens and Mirror Lake. Who doesn't like flowers and cute wild life around the lake. Definite bonus was the farmers market one street over as well. One of the reasons I booked there is because of the full-service restaurant and bar. Upon check-in I was told that they were both closed on Sunday so I would have to go out or not eat. That should be clear on your website!!

Excellent location on the edge of Lakeland's central square and walkable to the dozen or so restaurants/bars in the area. Hardwood floors need slippers for older feet, happily had flip-flops with me. Restaurant is upscale and service is attentive, but menu is limited (could use some vegetables as a side, for example). If you need to be downtown and don't want to drive from the other more distant upscale hotels, this is a very reasonable choice.

I liked this place when I stayed a few times around 20 years ago, and it’s gotten even better. Every single person that works there and in their restaurant is a class act - very friendly, cheerful, (no hint on insincerity), helpful, etc. All details are covered including local bakery cookies on the desk in the evenings, abundant high quality umbrellas available, everything is spotless from the lobby areas to your room. Place just feels good, with tasteful feng shui, including the large front terrace, the hotel’s namesake, (perfect for relaxing, especially before or after dinner). Great, relaxing Comfy bed and pillows. Classic older building with a good views in all directions, especially the adjacent beautiful Mirror Lake, and the very nice and convenient downtown on the opposite adjacent side. Deserving its own highly rated review is the on-site Terrace Grille, a destination, special occasion, and foodie level restaurant. Excellent for breakfast, lunch, or especially dinner. If you’re visiting Lakeland, this is where you want to stay for sure, especially since the pricing is not that different from most good quality typical motels where you then have to drive to go anywhere.

What a beautiful hotel! And the customer service was top-notch. The restaurant is beautiful and delicious. And the breakfast was the most delicious breakfast I have had in a long time. Homemade hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was primo. The parking was free at the attached lot. And the area around the hotel was walkable and beautiful. Lake mirror is right across the street and has a sidewalk all the way around it. Really lovely visit here. Will stay again next time we are in the area.
