For the price they charge this property is like a 2 out of 5 stars.... 1. Location is very very off, 2. Rooms are not maintained, 3. They don't provide daily housekeeping services every day without asking for it, which seems very strange, as if its a Dharmshala and not a five star resort. 4. Very expensive compared to many more better choices in the region which are at half or quarter the price. 5. Food and Kitchen staff is a savior. Thats the only part of the hotel which is any good, 4 out 5 stars. 6. Rooms are very very dimly lit, not everyone like dull yellow depressing lights, and many lights dont work half of the time. 7. Mobile network in this remote area is not good, so WiFi from the hotel should be flawless, but that's not case. Very bead off and on WiFi network, and its an open non protected network, so in a way your devices are open to the world. 8. Staff strength seems very less. You see the same faces from 7 AM till 11 PM and you can see that number of people needed to run such a big property are not there. 9. Activity staff is also as good as the Kitchen team. 10. Top management -- Managers -- were not seen at all in the 6 day stay. Never saw the GM, in his absence the Operation Manager never bothered to interact. Summary -- Overall Ayatana is a Very Costly Avoidable Mistake.... There are many better choices in Coorg, and this is not one of them, for sure.

Amazing property , really great service . We had a great time , the waterfalls and the landscape was simply mesmerizing . I had taken the meals package and the spread is mind blowing . Only one small issue we faced was that there was frequent power switches which might be a little irritating especially if you are watching something on TV. Also Monsoon , while the property looks amazing .. not much activities to do due to the rain.

Excellent service, very clean, friendly staff and the resort is beautiful

It was a pleasant stay in Ayatana. We enjoyed the ambience
