This is an extremely clean, “plain vanilla” motel. The people running if are wonderful people. Everything was spotless. It’s not the resort at Margaritaville. There’s no pool. But it is clean, well run, and very affordable. We came for TRF and stayed an extra day. We did bring our own pillows and an extra quilt.

TV screen was broken, cable kept going in and out. Had to go to lobby for coffee in the morning. Nothing like that in your room.

Great place to stay. We were very pleased with hotel and the receptionist great customer service skills. Had 1 small issue no coffee in the rooms and there we did not get to get coffee from the front. As a customer that’s the first thing most people would like to have when they wake up. Other than that. The rooms were very nice neat and clean. Refrigerator and microwave ❤️The rooms Look jus like pictures on Expedia. We go to Shreveport Louisiana all the time and they don’t even give us a microwave. High 5 to Palace Inn.

Checking in was fine—the staff didn’t say much, but that’s fine. When we got to our room on the second floor (no elevator), we realized we were literally thee only car in the parking lot. That was odd. We then went into the room and were hit with an intense musty odor. The top blanket and sheets were stained and had hair all over, and the pillows were super thin. The bathroom also had hairs on the floor as well as what appeared to be urine stains around the toilet that weren’t cleaned. The toilet paper holder was literally hanging from the wall. We sat on the bed long enough to look up other hotels in the area. We ended up checking out the same day and spending the rest of our stay elsewhere.

The arm to the shower want was nowhere to be found. The bathroom floor hadn't been swept, and there was long, black hair on the shower walls. There were no lamps, so the overhead lights always had to be on.

The hotel area was ok the air conditioning was excellent the staff was great but the room was dirty and the curtains had holes in them that where duct taped there was a roach not a wood roach in the bath tub there was no fire alarm and the hair dryer almost took my friends finger off because there was no back on the dryer not the worst hotel I have stayed at but it was dirty. Even though it looked clean walking in.

For the price you cannot beat it. Nice new clean rooms and the AC works amazing. I like the fact that you can check in at 2 instead of 3. The only thing I do not like is the hotel right behind it seems to be a little suspect with activity.

This place is really dirty. The first room they gave us had blood on the bed and wall and toilet paper. Roaches under the bed and on the walls. The bed covers were dirty and had multiple cigarette burns on each one. The girl at the desk told me it was marks from the washing machine.

Clean but asked for non smoking and sign outside door said non smoking room but wreaked of smoke and ashtray was dead giveaway. Pillows felt like sac of potatoes. Not enough towels and no blow dryer. Pic showed one. Need to update pics on site. Had to go out with wet hair. Thankfull just stayed one night but never again. Oh but lady at front desk was pleasant. Only upside to our stay.

Horrible one room had an a/c that was so loud we could use it. Then they moved us rooms and it had bed bugs and they only offered to switch us rooms when they said already that they had no available rooms

We had another great stay at the Palace Inn. Check in was smooth and easy. The person at the front desk was super friendly which alwaysa plus! Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great night stay and look forward to staying again!

Clean and very nice employees. But why no table lamps? You either have bright overhead light in room or nothing. Neither phone or tv remote worked properly. Requested a couple additional pillows as they were really flat kind. Could only find one to give us. We come this direction several times a year when cruising out of Galveston. It was very clean but probably will not stay here again

Quiet place even at the edge of I-45. Easy access to the freway and other stores. The only thing i would request is to review the AC, it was noisy at times. It needs revision.

The AC was so loud I could hear it through earplugs. It rattled all night, like there were parts rolling around in it. I asked the night manager to switch us rooms, but he said he couldn’t because there were no rooms…even though the parking lot was half full. The light switches didn’t work right, and there were no bedside lamps. Either all the lights were on or off. There was no cold water. It was either warm or a little warmer. Kind of gross for brushing your teeth. Overall, it looked good, but it was a rough night with the AC jackhammering all night.

Pros: The room was clean and modern looking. The man at the front desk was nice. Cons: There were no good breakfast items, except for maybe the instant oatmeal packets and cereal. The wifi did not reach our room or they were having internet issues during our stay. The cable TV worked for about 30 minutes, froze, and didn't work for the rest of our stay. And while check out is at 11:00am, the cleaning lady burst into our room at 10:15am. Ive never had that happen before anywhere. Wasn't happy about that.

The hand held shower head fixture was missing so I had to hold it while showering. And after alerting a staff member, nothing happened. Otherwise, this is a very clean and quiet place with a comfortable bed. I recommend staying here.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. There were burn holes in the covers. I was not given a key to my room, the staff went and opened the door to my room and did not give me the key, I could not leave without having them come reopen the door. I could not rest comfortably knowing that I didn’t have the key and I never left the room because I didn’t want to have to get someone to come back and reopen the door again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. There were burn holes in the covers. I could not rest comfortably knowing that I didn’t have the key and I never left the room because I didn’t want to have to get someone to come back and reopen the door again.

Nobody at front desk to check me. Waited for about 30/40 minutes until employee finally came. He had to fix a pipe since his maintenance crew left for the day so I understood and he was a nice person. Other than that place pretty decent.

First atrempt to get rge room was awful. Gave me a key to a truly messed up uncleaned room. Second attempt was decent. Long wait in the lobby before i got the second room after a 9 hour drive.

The staff was very intruding even the house cleaning lady, knocking on my door multiple times until i finally asked them to leave us alone. I will not be returning, was not worth the $70 a night, and i’ve been to nicer hotels for $20 cheaper.

Clean updated room offered at a good price. Hotel location is biggest negative(off I-45). Make certain to ask for room on back side.

Quiet place even at the edge of I-45. Easy access to the freway and other stores. The only thing i would request is to review the AC, it was noisy at times. It needs revision.

It was good. Coming from a very small town the freeway out front was overbearing. Nothing the hotel can do about that but probably won’t recommend for small town folks like us.

Needs bedside lamp. Renovated, contemporary, clean. Price is right. I use ear plugs anyway. Right on 45- traffic noise ( room facing highway.)

Over all was nice, the room was clean and the staff was nice. Would have nice if they had coffee in the lobby or the room.

TV screen was broken, cable kept going in and out. Had to go to lobby for coffee in the morning. Nothing like that in your room.

Great place to stay. We were very pleased with hotel and the receptionist great customer service skills. Had 1 small issue no coffee in the rooms and there we did not get to get coffee from the front. As a customer that’s the first thing most people would like to have when they wake up. Other than that. The rooms were very nice neat and clean. Refrigerator and microwave ❤️The rooms Look jus like pictures on Expedia. We go to Shreveport Louisiana all the time and they don’t even give us a microwave. High 5 to Palace Inn.

Pros: The room was clean and modern looking. The man at the front desk was nice. Cons: There were no good breakfast items, except for maybe the instant oatmeal packets and cereal. The wifi did not reach our room or they were having internet issues during our stay. The cable TV worked for about 30 minutes, froze, and didn't work for the rest of our stay. And while check out is at 11:00am, the cleaning lady burst into our room at 10:15am. Ive never had that happen before anywhere. Wasn't happy about that.

Room was basic but extremely clean. Parking was good. The hotel sign was a bit hard to see but no fault of the hotel itself. Overall a really decent place to stay.

Room was dirty, no toilet paper, no iron, no ironing board, no hangers. I had to go ask for all of these separately. No real blankets or comforter just decorative blanket covers riddled with cigarette burns. Microwave smelled disgusting. “Free breakfast” consisted of orange juice and coffee. Would have rather stayed at a motel 6. Definitely not worth it and won’t use them again.

The hotel was okay. But I don’t like my kids walking by people outside smoking weed! We were there for a cheer competition got there late and it was the only place that had rooms. But I personally wouldn’t stay again.
