When we checked in Riccardo (one of the managers) welcomed us and explained everything, gave us a map and showed us restaurants, places to visit, etc. He made sure we had all we needed every day! The breakfast was amazing! Cappuccino, espresso, several milk options, cereals, meats, eggs, bacon, sausage, juices, 4 different types of croissants… The room was beautiful and clean, we wished it had a seating area for 2 people, but our room didn’t. However, they have a patio area with tables and chairs and outdoor furniture. They also have a bar service starting at 5pm and Mateo and other waiters were very helpful. They always made something we loved. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe, yet there are many restaurant options. Rialto Bridge is 10-15 min away walking and St. Mark square 25 minutes. To get to the hotel you need a water taxi, like most things in Venice. The hotel can help you arrange it and they will also help with suitcases if needed. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! I strongly recommend this hotel!

We especially like the customer service of the front desk, Marta. They offered us coffee and tea when we arrived as we waited for our rooms to be ready and they checked us in as soon as the rooms were ready. This was appreciated as we were exhausted after our long journey to get there. We loved the quietness the property provided and the lovely courtyard. We were disappointed that the bar was closed but sat just outside the hotel at the restaurant for a glass of wine.

Lovely boutique hotel within walking distance to many places. Quick walk to water taxi’s, gondolas and many restaurants. If your coming off the train spend the money on a people mover to take you and luggage over the bridge. Hotel also has a really nice breakfast and courtyard for nightcaps.

The hotel is in a nice location in the sense that the neighborhood is quieter and more residential than other parts of Venice. However, it's within 3-5 mins walk from a waterbus dock so it was still easy to get around. The hotel was decorated nicely, with a fruity scent throughout the lobby. The room was modern, with mini-fridge, big TV, and electric controls for different room lights. The bathroom had a "rainfall" shower head on the ceiling so it was nice and relaxing, although the water drained slowly on the ground, so there was a bit of water buildup in the shower area.

This is a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our upgraded room and we received a free breakfast as well as a free mini bar. We loved our comfortable and chic room as well as a beautiful bathroom. The staff recommended a place for dinner and booked us a reservation. We enjoyed having a cocktail and digestif in the courtyard.

This was a lovely property conveniently situated. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and always done with a smile. A lovely breakfast buffet and an excellent bar in the evening where a nightcap could be taken by yet another excellent member of staff. Would stay here again if returning to Venice and would highly recommend.

The staff was very helpful as far as helping secure reservations for dinner, tours and water taxis. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and in a quieter area. It was very easy to walk to everything we wanted to see.

I really loved this hotel. Facility was in beautiful condition (unusual from my experience with about 5-6 Venice hotels) with well-appointed rooms with great beds and well-appointed bathrooms. Conveniently located: about a 7-10 minute walk from Santa Lucia train station and even less time to the nearest vaporetto stop while at the same time it was in a much quieter section of an otherwise noisy city. But by far the best part of the hotel was the amazing staff -- very welcoming, very helpful in offering suggestions for restaurants, etc. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!

Gorgeous boutique hotel, absolutely spotless, decor is upscale and beautiful. Staff is amazing from reception to breakfast room, Matteo and Marta so welcoming and helpful, highly recommend a stay here! Take the vaporetto or ferry from airport to san biasio then a short walk is best way to get here.

Great property location and the room was nice. Check in unluckily took over an hour because there was only 1 attendant and 2 people ahead of us, but she was very helpful and gave advice for what to do all around Venice. The room was boat themed because it didn't have any windows, but there were ceiling windows. Unfortunately the shades malfunctioned in the middle of the night and opened, making us wake up with the sunrise. The 2nd morning the shades stayed closed but there was very loud nonstop drilling going on nextdoor, starting at 8am.

Everything was fantastic! The staff was exceptional. The hotel itself beautiful. Our room was one of the prettiest we’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast also wonderful. Our visit here gets five stars.

Great hotel, but room was very small. No stopper for the bathroom sink, so we were unable to wash out any clothes. Great, quiet, off the beaten path neighborhood. We loved going to the square in the evenings where all the locals gather & the children play. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Service in the hotel was excellent.

The hotel is in a nice location in the sense that the neighborhood is quieter and more residential than other parts of Venice. However, it's within 3-5 mins walk from a waterbus dock so it was still easy to get around. The hotel was decorated nicely, with a fruity scent throughout the lobby. The room was modern, with mini-fridge, big TV, and electric controls for different room lights. The bathroom had a "rainfall" shower head on the ceiling so it was nice and relaxing, although the water drained slowly on the ground, so there was a bit of water buildup in the shower area.

Hotel staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was high quality and made with fresh ingredients. Room was excellent and very clean with a large comfortable bed. Hotel wasnt too far away from the main attractions. 15 minutes walk maximum. Overall, a great place to stay. I would definitely stay again!

Great property location and the room was nice. Check in unluckily took over an hour because there was only 1 attendant and 2 people ahead of us, but she was very helpful and gave advice for what to do all around Venice. The room was boat themed because it didn't have any windows, but there were ceiling windows. Unfortunately the shades malfunctioned in the middle of the night and opened, making us wake up with the sunrise. The 2nd morning the shades stayed closed but there was very loud nonstop drilling going on nextdoor, starting at 8am.

Incredible incredible hotel, the best service I’ve experienced in my travels. Roberto is very kind and inviting, he has great recommendations and gives an excellent overview of the city when you arrive. Every person who works at the hotel makes you feel at home. When we travel back to Venice, we will be staying here again.

This was our first time in Italy and we started in Venice. Santa Croce not only had the most beautiful accommodations, their staff was incredible. We arrived late on our train and the gentleman arranged a dinner at a local restaurant and then walked us to our location, so we wouldn’t get lost. He recommended other amazing things to do on our trip and his food choices were even better. I highly recommend staying here. It is a slice of heaven in the most beautiful city. My husband and I will be coming back and not staying anywhere else! Also, incredibly quiet and amazing breakfast.

The day of our departure, Italian railway workers decided to go on strike ;(…. Front desk knew about the strike at 2pm…. We were informed around 11pm and we had a train departure next morning. This is an excellent boutique hotel. The staff provided an amazing service, they went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. The breakfast was delicious and the room was so beautiful that you want to stay in. The location was walkable and a nice quiet area.

This hotel was beautiful and great location. and had a wonderful complimentary breakfast ! The ladies working were wonderful! But what impressed me most was Frederico that worked there that went over and above to make our travel arrangements to get to the airport. The film festival was going on so it made it very difficult but he made it happen ! He also gave recommendations on things to do while we were in town .The morning we left Ricardo helped us and he was also very helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again ! Thank you !

It is a 20 minute walk to the realto bridge over several bridges so make sure you are ready for a hike if you want to go into the busy part of Venice. The railway station is close but you still need to walk over a couple of bridges (with steps) to get there. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was tasty with lots of choices and the bed was very large and comfortable. The room was small but had high ceilings so didn’t seem it. There were great amenities in the room and you could ask for a kettle. The mini bar with soft drinks and water was included. A great stay.

This is an awesome hotel! The staff is friendly, the room is up to date and clean, and the breakfast food and service were great. Plus the location is perfect. It’s close to the train and bus station but also far enough away from St. Mark’s Square to get away from the crowds.

We loved our stay at the Santa Croce Hotel! It was an easy walk from the train station, but felt removed from all the hustle and bustle. Every single member of the staff that we encountered from the front desk to the bartender and staff at breakfast were so friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and had great amenities and was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Venice, we will absolutely stay here again.

For us it was a little hard as it was super hot and we were completely jet lagged, so we wish we had picked something closer to the main areas…

From the moment we arrived we felt like treasured guests. Though our needs were not particularly great, we felt they would have moved heaven and earth for us. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the shower terrific. The breakfast was perfect. It was like Joseph II telling Mozart there were too many notes. The hotel was in a quiet area, yet only 10-15 minutes walk to the Rialto bridge. Special kudos to Martina, Marta, and Andrea. Your kindness and service were extraordinary.

This was a lovely property conveniently situated. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and always done with a smile. A lovely breakfast buffet and an excellent bar in the evening where a nightcap could be taken by yet another excellent member of staff. This place deserves awards. I felt they were amazing all around except for one thing. If only the air conditioning worked better in Europe I'd be able to give 5\5 to this and many others. Sadly EVERYWHERE in Europe seems to not want to have cool happy customers the air is cold but the fans don't push it anywhere really which sucks... pretty sure I poured sweat every night I was in Europe, however, this hotel was the best of what is horrible. They hvould use a better selection of Scotch too 😏

A short 10-minute walk from the Venice Santa Lucia train station, this absolute gem of a hotel is tucked away in quiet back street in the Santa Croce district. The staff here is friendly and welcoming and most eager to accommodate your needs. The room was cool and comfortable, with a "mini-bar" well stocked with natural bottled water, soft drinks and snacks, all free of charge. In addition, you get a complimentary glass of Proseco wine from the bar upon check in. A short 10-minute walk from the Venice Santa Lucia train station, this absolute gem of a hotel is tucked away in quiet back street in the Santa Croce district. The staff here is friendly and welcoming and most eager to accommodate your needs. The room was cool and comfortable, with a "mini-bar" well stocked with natural bottled water, soft drinks and snacks, all free of charge. In addition, you get a complimentary glass of Proseco wine from the bar upon check in. The rooms include a dazzling breakfast buffet which includes coffee, eggs made to order, dried fruits, nuts, cold cuts, cheeses, salad bar, cereal, yogurt, pastries, and breads. All in all, the Santa Coce Boutique Hotel was a real find and well worth the cost.The neighborhood was mostly quiet at night, which fostered many nights of deep, restful sleep.
