The property was great. Exactly as described. I had a lovely (upgraded) room with a balcony directly over the water. Staff was very helpful. The only negative is the lack of parking. It is a very active little seaside town where I had to drive around for about 20 minutes to finally find a parking space. That was located about .25 miles away. Thankfully, I am in good shape. Lovely Stay.

In many ways a unique hotel with its over-the-water aspect, terraces and gangway down into the sea. While the usual melee for the buffet breakfast is best avoided its service runs to 10am with endless coffee. Definitely an improvement on previous stays with the room refurbs. Service as ever was excellent.

Bear in mind that this is the first hotel ever built on the south coast of Tenerife, so it has many oldie-worldie qualities. No pool, but steps leading straight into the sea. Rooms are marketed as 'sea view' or (more expensive) 'ocean view' which is a complete con as they put you into whatever room is available when you arrive. The staff on reception are very unfriendly, never say hello, no itemisation of final bill, slight overcharging noted. Room service absent one day. Despite all this it is still the best location for us, not overrun, very pleasant environment, good communications.

quick & easy check in, efficient lifts (2), nice room on sea side of building with large balcony and no street noise (although at high tide the sea was noisy as there was strong wind but I personally enjoyed this). kettle, beakers, coff, tea and cream pots provided, also two bottles of water initially. super breakfast, no pressure to arrive at sunbathing deck as loungers and chairs available at all times, even weekends when hotel was busy. easy access by bus - half hourly to San Isidro & regular buses to the entire island (including both airports) from there. less than Euro 20 by taxi to TFS but hotel now in pedestrian area so a few minutes walk from drop off point the other end of the town square- thoroughly recommended

A very nice clean Hotel in Medano small village in the south of Teneriffa SUR airport. For airplane spotting very good, as the runway spotterplace can be reached in 30 mins walking distance. Nice room and wonderful breakfast buffett on a terrace by the sea. Taxi to airport only about 7 euros. Also good for longer stay because bus system is very good.

We only stayed for one night to catch an early morning flight and would have loved to stay longer to make use of the facilities more and explore a bit further. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the packed breakfast for our journey home

Fantastic location, especially for kite and windsurfing. Really chilled vibe in El Medano. The hotel itself was perfect for our needs. We had hired motorbikes to explore the Island and the only downside is the hotel didn’t have parking but not really an issue as we found free parking not far. All in all a great stay!

Hotellet har utrolig bra beliggenhet og sengene var gode. Romslig rom, med de største og tykkeste håndklær jeg har vært borti. Stedet ser dessverre ut til å forfalle på noen områder. Toalettflushen virket kun om lokket til sisternen var av, gardinstangen ramlet ned, det luktet kloakk på badet og garderobedørene hang og slang. Frokosten var midt på treet. Iskaldt i frokostsalen. Hva de hadde gjort med baconet vet jeg ikke, men det lignet ikke på bacon. Hyggelig resepsjonist og betjening. DET betyr mye.

We had a fabulous time in medano, the hotel was clean, comfortable with lovely staff, breakfast was a complete surprise, amazing, hot food, cold cuts, cereals, everything you could wish for. We would highly recommended this hotel.

Hotellet är enkelt (ingen luftkonditionering) med små rum (det är rätt gammalt) men vissa rum är renoverade och fräscha. Läget är perfekt på stranden med direk tillgång till havet. Restauranger, barar och stadens lilla torg utanför. Bra frukost. Hjälpsam personal.

It was really nice in the hotel. Convenient. The breakfast was nice. It was clean. Good hotel. Only thing I'd say is the walls are kind of thin. There's a gap underneath the door so anytime people walk past your door you can hear conversations and I was on the first floor so I could hear everyone walk past for breakfast. Also if someone next door moved a chair or accidentally knocked the wall it felt as if they was in the room with you. Other than that it's a really nice hotel. Not far from bus stop to travel to other places either.

The restaurant is open for lunch but not dinner. Plenty of good places close by to eat. The hotel is next to the beach and the town has a good vibe. I booked a seaview room butcthe seaview rooms with a balcony can see right into the room when sitting on their balcony.

Dernier jour de séjour dans ce bel hôtel avec une chambre type standard . malheureusement nous avons passé une mauvaise nuit la chambre étant située au 1etage côté rue face a de nombreux bar et restaurant. Trop chaud dans la chambre la fenêtre fermée et trop bruyant la fenêtre ouverte .bref mauvaise expérience avec la chambre 120 malgré un tarif haut . Idem le matin dès 06h30, livraison des marchandises dans les commerces. Le bouquet final, ce sont les travaux qui sont en. Cours dans le même couloir que notre chambre . Horrible sur ce point de vue . Mauvais rapport qualité prix en ce qui concerne notre chambre standard au 1etage .

Bear in mind that this is the first hotel ever built on the south coast of Tenerife, so it has many oldie-worldie qualities. No pool, but steps leading straight into the sea. Rooms are marketed as 'sea view' or (more expensive) 'ocean view' which is a complete con as they put you into whatever room is available when you arrive. quick & easy check in, efficient lifts (2), nice room on sea side of building with large balcony and no street noise (although at high tide the sea was noisy as there was strong wind but I personally enjoyed this). kettle, beakers, coff, tea and cream pots provided, also two bottles of water initially. super breakfast, no pressure to arrive at sunbathing deck as loungers and chairs available at all times, even weekends when hotel was busy. easy access by bus - half hourly to San Isidro & regular buses to the entire island (including both airports) from there. less than Euro 20 by taxi to TFS but hotel now in pedestrian area so a few minutes walk from drop off point the other end of the town square- thoroughly recommended

We only stayed for one night to catch an early morning flight and would have loved to stay longer to make use of the facilities more and explore a bit further. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and we really appreciated the packed breakfast for our journey home

Excellent location, facilities and service. Thouroughly enjoyable stay. The only drawback was poor bus service to Costa Adeje and the airport. We had to rely on taxis.

Super Lage des Hotels in der Mitte des Ortes und ins Wasser gebaut - einfach top. Schöne Aussicht schon beim Frühstück auf das Meer und den Roja. Wir waren schon zum dritten Mal in diesem Hotel und waren wieder begeistert.

Très bon séjour, très bon hôtel avec une partie construire dans l eau donc une vue magnifique sur la mer et la montagne ROJA en face ,le matin au petit déjeuner c est vraiment agréable...le personnel est très agréable les chambres sont propres et faîtes tous les jours, chambre vue sur la Mer.L hôtel est très bien situé avec commerces, restaurant et supérette juste à côté.juste un petit bémol...le buffet du soir un peu juste en choix ,mais très très bon et frais et un peu plus en desserts.... sinon je recommande j y ai passé un très bon séjour....

It was a good location we enjoyed our stay, even though we were super cold at night. Seems like they don’t have heat and the the extra blankets they had were so hard and uncomfortable. Like a super old and rough. Tv didn’t work last two days we stayed. We wanted to try the restaurant one night, worse decision I ever made, I ordered a grilled chicken breast with rice and vegetables. I don’t know how they could make it so bad it was like eating plastic, of course I didn’t eat it, I couldn’t. The waiter Roberto was nice and friendly, did the right thing not charging for that meal but I still think the hotel management should know because I think is a crime trying to feed that food to people .

Just had a great stay at the Hotel Medano. Great staff, big rooms, nice bathroom, good air conditioning and clean. The breakfast quality and choice was very good. The restaurant is open for lunch but not dinner. Plenty of good places close by to eat. The hotel is next to the beach and the town has a good vibe. I booked a seaview room butcthe seaview rooms with a balcony can see right into the room when sitting on their balcony.

Nice hotel with perfect location. We had a room with direct sea view and it was really nice. Room was spaicy and comfortable. Hotel offers a really good breakfast, hot dishes changes every day. We are glad that we have chosen to live here
