After a very poor stay at Holiday inn Brighton all i can say is that this was 1000x better Jacob at check in was very very helpful and friendy and we found check to be a great. then we when for a meal and Lily the lady at the bar was also very helpful and friendy We could not have asked for more. Breakfast was alos great and not busy check out was fast and the only thing i would say is that we loved the pillows in the room and asked if we could buy them but more the pity we could not. great service and parking for thetown

The hotel rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated. Very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant area is great with an indoor seating and also a large outdoor patio and seating area - wonderful in the summer. Good food. Very dog friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to get to by car and has a car park or you can get here by local bus 502 from Ashford train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very handy for travelling to the tunnel ... clean, friendly staff .. very good breakfast ..OK , the place is under refurbishment but that did not bother us at all .. would happily stay here again

It was a little run down. The room stank of cleaning agents and it was not possible to get fresh air in from the little window. But otherwise okay

I read a lot of reviews ahead of time, so was worried - but honestly, The Holiday Inn in Ashford was really perfect for me this weekend - and I am a pretty harsh critic. I was working nearby, and the combination of the incredibly helpful and kind staff, the renovated room and very comfortable bed, the working (albeit I couldn’t change the temperature) air conditioning, the nice shower…. It was everything I needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone else. Because of the renovations, I didn’t have a fridge, a safe, or any water, but I believe that will be remedied soon, and the bar were only too happy to give me ice and water. Also, thanks to other reviews, I knew to ask if it was possible to have a renovated room, which they gave me, and I think that made a big difference.
