Anchor Inn

The bar area was stylish and welcoming with a warming fire. The staff were friendly and accommodating which gave a relaxed atmosphere. Food was great (1 Sunday roast and 2 steaks) and reasonably priced. We had a 1 night stay in a courtyard room which was a good size and perfect as we had a dog with us. A decent breakfast set us up for the next day. Highly recommend.

The Anchor Inn is an absolute gem! The rooms are a good size and well-appointed, if perhaps a little dated. Super friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. The real surprise was the restaurant. I would recommend trying out the food, even if you're not staying at the Inn. The food was locally sourced, all fresh and well prepared and presented. All in all a very pleasant two night stay. I would highly recommend, and have recommended The Anchor Inn to family and friends. This will now be my go to place to stay when in the Plymouth area.

Accueil très sympathique. Très grande chambre pour 3 avec une belle salle de bain. Le lit simple n'est pas très confortable (ressorts dans le matelas) mais le lit double très grand est apprécié. Nous avons diner au restaurant, plats très copieux et bons. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais correct. Petit parking. Le seul bémol, pas de réseau et un wifi qui ne fonctionne pas vraiment.
