Extremely friendly lady at front desk who works late nights. Also extremely friendly manager, Mike. Very polite and helpful people. Clean. Variety at breakfast including hot items like eggs and meat. Clean pool area. Quiet hotel. Convenient to stores and to Mayo Clinic- short drive.

Sleep Inn staff were very helpful to me when I lost my keys and needed to get to my Mayo appointment. They, the shuttle driver and a few guests were so helpful to me to be able to just make my appointment. The quiet, cleanliness, overall room accommodations were wonderful! My new ‘go to’ place for upcoming Mayo appointments!

The pool has not worked the entire time we were here. This is why we booked this hotel, for use of the pool for medical reasons. We were sent across the road, to another hotel with pool, this pool also wasn’t working! The staff at that hotel said the pool hasn’t worked in months. We were the sent to a third hotel to use the pool (same hotel chain) and were told we could use this pool only once. Our fridge did not work in our room, damaging $200 worth of newly purchased groceries, many of which had to be thrown out. There was numerous notes stuck on doors of appliances not working in a number of guests rooms - complaints of microwaves and fridges not working, dishwashers in the suites not working. Yesterday, I was at the desk and another guest came to say her microwave was still not working or addressed. We were moved to a room with a working fridge, but having to move rooms three times was a huge pain especially as we have been here so long. The shuttle drivers were amazing, the breakfast is very good. We would have left after our second night if the shuttle drivers weren’t so great. Beds are very comfortable.

The hotel was clean, but the pool was not in service, which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Of course, we didn't know about it until we checked in. The hair dryer in the room was not working, and by the time I knew it, I did not have time to go to the front desk to get a replacement. I heard people walking in the room above late into the evening/night. For the great reviews, I was disappointed. The best part was the fresh baked cookies when we arrived. Staff was friendly.

This hotel was fine. Cleanliness was good, breakfast was nice and areas in good service area were clean. Staff was friendly. However, hotel is pet friendly and had a strong pet Oder within the rooms. In the hallways they tried to mask the small with a strong “cherry” scent which honestly just made it worse and gave me a headache. If you are sensitive to smells, stay clear. If that doesn’t bother you, this is a decent place to spend a few days.

Employees were really nice. Parking was adequate. Noise level was not bad. Loved the bedding! Had a couple of housekeeping issues - the “kitchen” garbage hasn’t been taken out and was full and included food and a dirty diaper. Also the shampoo dispenser in the shower had been removed but not replaced. This didn’t affect us though since we bring our own toiletries.

They have a shuttle to Mayo but it isn’t well publicized and it doesn’t necessarily run every half hour. You need to sign up with the front desk and hope they coordinate with the shuttle. Once you get on it, it was so nice to be dropped off and picked up at the front door of the clinic. Our room had a door that had A LOT of resistance despite being a handicapped room😳! The mattress needs to be replaced, as it has low spots in the middle. The room didn’t smell fresh, kind of stale.

Room was spacious and clean, fit our needs perfectly. Was a great location with access to food and services, yet a reasonable drive to downtown facilities. We were in town to fish the Zumbro River, and the location was perfect, plus the room provided a great base. The only negative is that our room did not receive routine service. We were checked in for three nights and had to request towel exchange and refill of the couch free pods in the room. The breakfast area and breakfast offerings were the best I have had in a long time, and there was a full time attendant to help you if something ran out, or you had a special need. And the price was very reasonable!

Stayed while relative was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital/Mayo. Very clean & comfy. Loved the walk in shower, firm & comfy bed & pillows. Microwave & fridge were bonuses. It was quiet. It was also pretty full, parking lot was full at night.

It was clean and comfortable. Amazing for the price really. The only thing is, we couldn't get the shower knob to turn. Ours was a short stay so no worries. Great continental breakfast and staff was courteous and friendly.

The property was clean, staff polite, unfortunately our mattress was not comfortable it sunk in on the one side of our king bed to the point I was unable to sleep. When I shared the information with staff they listened but seemed unconcerned. I am sure that all mattresses are not like that.

I booked a king suite with full size fridge. We were going to be shopping and I needed a place to store the food I bought. When I checked and got to my room I got 2 doubles with a mini fridge. I called down to desk and desk attendant told me the room I booked was taken the person did not check out and the manager gave me this room. If I wanted I could talk to Michael the next morning. There was no one downstairs when I checked out. The room was unbearable hot had to open the window and listen to traffic all night. Never could get the heat down. Had the heat set at 62 and still hot. In the bathroom there was 4 marks where the wall had been patched but never painted. Showhead was a plastic handheld. Really a shoddy looking room. I don’t know what the point of picking a room when they give you whatever crap room they feel like. Would not stay here again

Didn’t use the pool or gym but the room was adequate for our 3 day stay. Loved the free bottled water and breakfast was good for the value. Don’t let the inexpensive price deter your decision- definitely exceeded our expectations. The only negative was the couch in the room was very uncomfortable.

The lying check- in male clerk. He made up so may lies regarding why my TV in the room did not carry any sound to a majority of conservative TV stations (all fox channels, cnn and a number of others. Blamed it all on the cable comany...Yet when I had breakfast in the mornings, I was able to take my remote and get Fox News loud and clear. And yes he and myself got into a shouting match about this and he still continued to blame it on your outside cable co. AND to top everything else on the day I checked out, a portion of the hall ceiling came crashing down due to leaks in the roof. I believe the owner refused to spend any money fixing these problems. I go to the Mayo Clinic about two times a year and this was the first time I stayed in this motel. First time ever I spent some time in the Sleep Inn in Gainsville, FL and it was absolutly wonderful and that's why I decided to come to this motel.

The front desk personnel were very extremely nice, helpful accommodating. I had an issue with my first room with the shower head being broken that could not be properly fixed that day. Isayth did not hesitate to place me in another room that I actually liked better. The night front desk personnel (Walker) was definitely helpful with giving directions, social, and made sure the next shift knew that I could possibly need a later check out time.

This was my second time staying at Sleep Inn and again it did not disappoint! Any request I made, the front desk was accommodating and on top of it! Ann, Mike, Muhammad, and Isayath are simply the BEST!!! Rooms and property inside and out were always clean and quiet. And, I love the fact that there are restaurants and grocery stores surrounding the hotel.

Room was spacious and clean, fit our needs perfectly. Was a great location with access to food and services, yet a reasonable drive to downtown facilities. We were in town to fish the Zumbro River, and the location was perfect, plus the room provided a great base. The only negative is that our room did not receive routine service. We were checked in for three nights and had to request towel exchange and refill of the couch free pods in the room. The breakfast area and breakfast offerings were the best I have had in a long time, and there was a full time attendant to help you if something ran out, or you had a special need. And the price was very reasonable!

I give this Hotel high marks in all areas. Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel, with different featured items each of the four days we were there. It also appears that they opened the breakfast earlier than usual on the weekend days because of the large number of people staying there who had to be out and about early due to a sports event. Wonderful!

Super clean, super quiet, nice rooms, and a really good breakfast. There was a couple waffle makers, scrambled eggs, bacon, and oven browned potatoes, as well as several other normal continental breakfast options. I would definitely stay here again.

We were on the third floor and there was a very loud noise throughout the entire stay. The floors were ditry and never cleaned that led to the elevator. We stayed at this hotel because it offered a hot breakfast. There was signage in the morning that there would be no hot breakfast. Then later there were signs that the hotel did not offer hot breakfast Thurs-Sunday. This should have been updated on their site. Last time I stayed at this same hotel, the coffee/tea service was broken and unavailable. It is disappointing that they "temporarily" discontinue services often. I won't be staying here again, as there are many other hotels in the area in the same price range with better accommodations and quiet rooms.

Very nice, clean, and well maintained property, especially for the cost. They had very good breakfast options, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and a couple waffle makers. Very nice pool and workout area as well. Definitely my go-to spot in Rochester.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sleep Inn. The hotel was clean, breakfast was well stocked, the kitchenette was perfect, and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend.

Has all the basic amenities needed and friendly staff. Only downside was that there was no regular coffee at breakfast due to their maker breaking down, but I was still able to make coffee in the room.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room with roll in shower. There was no shower chair when we got in there. We had to go to the front desk to ask for a chair. About 60% of the time there was no attendant at the desk. The room was good size but not enough room to get to the TV if you are in a wheelchair because where the bed and couch are.
