in Harlow town park.BUT Needs major upgrade. It isn't a hotel it's a grubby hostel with a nasty toilet and shower separate from the room. The stained shower looks like a refugee from the 1960s It's a very sad place to be. The mattress was terrible, extremely uncomfortable so I didn't get much sleep due to the pain generated by laying on it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

A gem. An old YHA hostel and run by the same guy for over thirty years. If you want modern, hi tech, all singing all dancing then go to one of the big chains. If you want quirky, no frills, basic and a classic old hostel experience th3n this place has to be for you. I will certainly return.

Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore.

Such a lovely place with great staff and facilities. Will definitely be staying here again. There's a lovely huge garden and the hostel is right in the middle of a really nice park. There's a kitchen and they sell snacks and food for cheap. Thanks!
