Had a lovely two night stay here recently, attention to detail, level of service and restaurant are all excellent. Nice quiet spa with pool and gym. Thoroughly recommend and a place we will undoubtedly visit again.

Excellent hotel. Staff were superb, very friendly. Had a luxury suite which was very clean and bigger than I thought. Spa was very good as well, but you will have to book a slot for the pool as you can't just wander in . Dined in both the Outside restaurant and the main hotel restaurant both were extremely good and the food was excellent. Hope to return in the not too distant future.

A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool.

Very nice hotel. Excellent service. Nice amenities. Spa treatment was lovely. Food delicious. Room was clesn and very comfortable. Wished the pool and jucuzzi were hot. Our only complaint!

Perfectly pleasant place to stay. I booked with the intention of using the spa. Having drove down from Yorkshire I was told there was only 18 spaces so could not use the spa facilities. I was not guided that any pre booking was required ….perhaps naive of me. So quite disappointed. Would have looked at other venues if I knew I could not use all the facilities.

Stayed in a luxury double room which was large and comfortable. Timed slots for the spa meant it is quiet & relaxing. Evening meals in the restaurant were superb, especially the raspberry soufflé. Staff friendly & knowledgable. Would definitely stay again.

The staff were all very friendly but when it came to a fault on their part, I don’t think they handled it in the most professional and satisfying way. The Spa facilities were not up to our expectations since the main component, the Jacuzzi, wasn’t working on the day. It was a disappointment for us and all we received were tiny samples which are meant to be free samples anyway- we don’t feel we were compensated well enough, until we had to go out of our way to ask for something at the reception. Even then, we didn’t feel we were spoken to politely by the reception manager.

Staff, food, wine, accommodation all excellent. Very individual customer focused. Well worth the cost. Could do with some renovations which are likely to follow (broken uneven paving) otherwise nicely maintained. A relaxed stay. Perhaps breakfast quality could improve a shade and bath with shower over a bit basic for this pitch. But overall great.

Stunning hotel. The location, building itself, restaurant and facilities in general were beautiful and well kept. Very friendly staff, helpful and welcoming. Restaurant was superb, the food was delicious, wine selection superb and helpful waitress and sommelier.

Quick and pleasant checkin. Escorted to suite. Large deluxe suite with nice garden view, as booked. Room slightly dated but classic i guess. Could do with a more modern style refresh in my view, re wallpaper and lots of brown furniture etc.

The service and people are 5*, friendly, helpful, knowledgable- can’t fault them at all. The property however is not 5*, it’s quite old fashioned, the luxury spa is, luxury if it was 1990. The loungers in the pool area were uncomfortable, and the facilities were very basic. The bathroom in our room had a shower over the bath and the bath was so tall at the sides I needed assistance to step in and out. I am not very tall, but this was an issue for me. The breakfast was tasty but the arrangement of options for continental and adding a hot dish and hot drinks is slightly odd, but overall, overpriced. The restaurant in the evening was very good, as was the wine selection, and again the service there was outstanding. Mixed review, so excellent elements, some improvements needed for full 5* experience.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights for our anniversary. Found this hotel by chance on the internet. What a great find. Booked a luxury suite. We had a fabulous room with a separate lounge area. On our anniversary we had a meal in the main restaurant- food and service was great. Would highly recommend .

Unfortunately I was faced with several communication issues throughout my stay. Prior to reserving, I called reception to validate my spa entrance time however once booked I was told I could not have that time slot despite the Spa being empty. The bed was quite uncomfortable due to it being two single beds being pushed together. Lastly, I don't think the service at breakfast was up to standard, I was not told that I had all breakfast options including the A La Carte menu until AFTER I had eaten which was a shame.

The temperature in the room was very hot and the ac was not blowing cold air only hot. When staff were notified they did nothing to rectify or communicate further in anyway. On checkout they didn’t even ask how my stay was, and when I politely reported the issue I was merely thanked for letting them know. This is far from a 5 star hotel.

Had a great stay! The room was very spacious and well appointed, the restaurant was great and we really enjoyed the spa with our 2 year old daughter. Would be happy to come again!

Such a wonderful time at the Vineyard to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food was amazing, room so comfortable and what made it really special was the friendliness of the staff. We were treated so well and made to feel so welcome by everyone.

Superbly professional and friendly service. Enjoyed a room upgrade for a special birthday. Flowers and chocolates from the family were in the room when I arrived as well as a beautiful and delicious cake provided at dinner. Spa staff were friendly and added to the relaxation. It was a memorable celebration weekend.

Wow! What an amazing stay. 5 star experience from the seamless check-in all the way to the smooth check-out. Staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. Food and wine selection was phenomenal. A huge thank you to the Duty Manager Megan and Anna at the Spa in particular who made our stay truly memorable. Also thanks to Jasmine and Ruby helping to make arrangements for our stay.

This hotel is excellent in every way. Service, location, food, and the room. Such close proximity to the Cotswolds but so elegant and private. Truly one of my favorite stays in my 3.5 week holiday.

Beautiful hotel in general, although the decor in the rooms is looking slightly dated. The main reason for scoring 4 stars is the poor quality and overpriced breakfast. Our full English was dry, lacked taste and was expensive at £25 each. Also no beans or hashbrowns availiable, not sure what that's all about. Overall a very comfortable stay and we'll be back.

The food was incredible. The pumpkin and goats cheese starter was creamy and 5star taste. Pheasant was cooked beautifully. It was worth paying more to have a sofa in our room. Swimming pool doesnt smell chemically, I think they use something other than chlorine.
