Very nice and spacious room. It’s downtown so parking is hard so you gotta park in the garage. It’s plenty of places to eat and drink around the building and it’s walking distance

We had an amazing 2-br suite overlooking the city. The spot next to Point Park is perfect, and the best part about this place is their gym. The Etage Athletic Club is by far the best workout opportunity that I've ever had at a hotel stay--incredible gym.

I will 1000% be back and this will be my go to when visiting Pittsburgh. Friendly helpful and accommodating staff. Beautiful room that is fully equipped for any type of stay with a fully functional kitchen and in unit laundry. State of the art gym. Prime location. Need I say more?

The place was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The rooftop is amazing. They should, however, advertise a little better that the rooftop closes at 9:00 p.m. or at least it did when we were there. But the view of the city before curfew is incredible!!

We love staying at this hotel. Great location to walk to Steelers game and walking distance to the Strip District and Market Square. Parking garage is a little rough when you have a truck.

The room was not clean, lamps were broken, cords showing, the chairs were ripped up. The room service was not kind. The drawers wouldn’t close on some of the dressers. I can’t even believe how over priced this place is - totally a joke and a waste of money. The only good thing was the view. Would NOT recommend.

We didn't realize we were getting a whole apartment. It was very clean well laid out and good amenities. Excellent location. Parking garage right inside the building. And a good price. The only negative was that it was loud in the morning. We could hear a lot of moving around from the next rooms.

The room was spotlessly clean and very very spacious. Having the full kitchen was lovely- it was fully stocked. We didn’t take advantage but it would be nice if it was needed. The bathroom was huge and the shower was amazing. We were impressed with the view from the room and found the bed to be extremely comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!

My only complaint is the cleanliness of the room. The coffee pot had not been cleaned. The pullout bed had food crumbs inside of it and food smears on the throw pillow and cushions. The staff was helpful and the value of the room for the price was excellent. The location was also great.

We wanted to love this place, but the room was filthy. The floors were sticky, everywhere and the rug in the living room was covered in hair (animal, human, Sasquatch, etc.). Our room was on the 12th floor, directly under the rooftop basketball court. So, we heard every dribble, missed shot, etc. early in the morning (before 7am) and after the court was supposed to be “closed” for the night (after 9pm). The room itself was pretty cool, but, the lack of cleanliness was a major disappointment. The parking garage is a harrowing, vehicle damaging roller coaster from hell if your vehicle is larger than a compact car. If you stay here, request a room below the 12th floor and drive a Honda Fit.

The hotel itself is a bit dirty. A lot of surfaces in our room were sticky, you could tell it had been wiped down but not washed off. The hotel overall had A LOT to offer. The gym was AMAZING! The top floor having the basketball court and chess and seating was amazing and offered a great relaxation post. It was also very close to bus stations and market square, with a lot of bars and restaurants. A little more into cleanliness and this hotel would be perfect. Will look to stay again if possible.

However, the overall condition and cleanliness of the place was not what I would expect for a rental of the price we paid. For example, the floor has several bumps in it, the toilet paper holder was broken, the toilet seat was very loose. In addition, the sink and showered were not very clean when we got the appartment, so we washed them ourselves. Not what I was expecting from the pictures and in general from a high end rental.

Overall, our stay was fine. We enjoyed having the kitchen and laundry machine in our room for sure. The room was clean enough, though we did find a few things here and there that made us think housekeeping wasn't very thorough. Also, every lamp was missing the light bulb. Every single one. The phone didnt work, nor did it have instructions to call downstairs anyway, so we physically went down to ask about light bulbs and they said someone would be right up. No one ever came. I also found it a little off-putting to overhear housekeeping complaining about others in the hallway. Overall, it was fine. But I won't be staying here again and I dont know that I would recommend it to others.

This was a great spot for 4 of us. Close to the ball diamond, lots of great restaurants in the area, across the street from the transit system. The kitchen had what we needed and it was great to have laundry in the room. The air conditioner is very loud, but I just wore ear plugs at night and it was perfect. Beds The roof has a great sitting area and it was nice to have access to a full gym.

We had a 2 bedroom suite for our family after attending a local football game. The suite was spacious and quiet. We were expecting a wall of windows like the pics on the website but were disappointed to find out not all rooms had them. The area had many restaurants within walking distance. Will book again when we return to the area for future football games.

The pictures are not what you're getting! We were in a bunker with the windows 8-10 feet high where you had NO VIEW. While the unit was large and as described, it wasn't what was portrayed in the pictures.

Amenities are good, mostly everything in our suite functioned properly, though one TV may not have been hooked up right initially and there wasn't a remote for a lamp in one bedroom. Also, the AC didn't seem to cool the bedrooms as well as the living room. The only major complaint I have is that the walls are not particularly sound-dampening; I could hear our neighbors occasionally, not to mention the basketball court on the roof. All in all, my complaints are very minor, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area for an extended period.

The unit I stayed in was fantastic, but check-in was a mess. They gave me a key to a room that was already occupied—clearly, they had no idea who was in which room. Dealing with that at 1:30 in the morning was the last thing I wanted!

The property was beautiful. The big problem is the staff. I called the day before to I ask if we could get early check-in because we were coming out of state for a concert and had to get ready. The lady I talked to on the phone was very nice and said our room wasn’t booked the day before so we would be able to get early check-in whatever we wanted. When we got there, the guy working said that they’re not allowed to do early check-in and they are employee didn’t say that instead of accommodating us He told us to get ready for our concert in our car. I asked him if there was a restroom I could use and he said they didn’t have restrooms. I would have to go find one somewhere else then right in front of our face he let someone else get their room two hours early going to the concert and when we got back, it was 11 PM the next morning we went on the rooftop terrace, and it smelled like human pee, I almost threw up from the stench that was coming from the bushes. I don’t know if people let their dogs pee up there, but it smelled more like a drunk person was up there peeing. It is a beautiful room and it’s luxury, but I would never book it again after our experience.

My family and I stayed over the weekend to attend a Pirates game and PNC park was a short walk away, market square is a block away with plenty of dining options, you can use their gym which is great, parking is accessible via the building elevator, great game room and both gentlemen at the front desk were super nice and helpful!

The people next to me who stayed with beyond noisy until all hours of the night. The person at the front desk was barely there and when he was he was sleeping. I also had an incident where I told me I couldn't stand on the lobby while there's chairs sitting there and they said I wasn't allowed to sit there and wait for my food to come. I had to argue with a guy and he finally let me wait for the food that was being ordered. Wanted to be some kind of tough guy with me till I stood up and then he backed off but of course my former NFL football player so his reality had to come to full circle. Get better people staying there and get better people working for you as my suggestion to that place.

This app caused our reservation to be cancelled. We then got a room and were given keys to an occupied room with someone in bed and unpacked watching tv. We ran out and back to the front desk and were told “that happens a lot”. We finally got a room, it was nice, just absurd process

Super convenient stay, you are close to everything in pittsburgh! The staff was incredibly kind, and let us check in early and drop our bags off. Will definitely stay again!

The Etage is perfectly located in downtown with easy walking distance to great restaurants and fun things to do like the Rink and Christmas Market. The onsite parking for those with vehicles is super convenient as well. The staff was highly professional and very personable. The amenities eclipse your standard hotel with wonderful views from the roof terrace. Having a full kitchen was absolutely the best.

The Etage is perfectly located in downtown with easy walking distance to great restaurants and fun things to do like the Rink and Christmas Market. The onsite parking for those with vehicles is super convenient as well. The staff was highly professional and very personable. The amenities eclipse your standard hotel with wonderful views from the roof terrace. Having a full kitchen was absolutely the best.

The hotel was very nicely located in downtown Pittsburgh with lots of things to do and restaurants in walking distance. The room was large and the convenience of having a kitchen was great. The price was reasonable, especially for the great location. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome location right in the heart of Market Square, short 10 minute walk to PNC Park via the Clemente Bridge and just a tad longer to Heinz Field. Nice parking garage attached to the hotel. Will def stay again.

We love staying at this hotel. Great location to walk to Steelers game and walking distance to the Strip District and Market Square. Parking garage is a little rough when you have a truck.

The vibe was just off. They are going for a modern feel but it came off cold and cheap. Every fixture was the cheapest quality. The towels and the bath mats were falling apart. The location was great but beware there is nothing open in the city at night and no restaurant or market in the hotel. And for looking so industrial the walls were paper thin.

We loved staying at Etage. The place was nicely furnished and had a wonderful shower. The location was close to restaurants and places of interest. We walked to Point State Park for a view of the rivers.

The staff was very Helpful and Kind. We would definitely recommend to family and friends! When we come back we will be staying here again. The market square was around the corner with plenty of places to eat and has live entertainment. We had a great experience.

The building was nice and a great location downtown - close to everything I wanted to visit. There were a few issues - dirty dishes in the dishwasher, used sponge in the kitchen, opened dish soap, TV in bedroom didn’t work, but these things were relatively small in relation to the other areas that worked out well (customer service, staff, gym, etc), I would definitely stay again and if there are other locations I would check them out too.

One of it not the filthiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Caked on dust on the headboard, and all over the rooms. Sticky floors. The vents had what looked like either thick black dust or even black mold in them. The cleaning staff literally had to ignore these things on purpose because they are just so obvious. When I told the front desk staff they were pretty useless. They said they would comp my parking and that was it. I had originally booked for two nights, but we left after the first night and drove with three young children in the middle of the night just to not have to stay there again. Don’t even get me started about the shady characters that were staying in the hotel and up to no good. I’ll leave it at that but it’s not anything I would want to be around or have my kids see. The amenities were pretty useless. The ping-pong table had no paddles. They said that people kept taking them so they didn’t have them for me to use. The basketball court on the roof looked very cool but both times we went up there there was something going on. Once was some kind of a fair or event. The next time was people playing tennis. And let’s not forget about the constant noise that made it impossible to sleep. Overall the place was beat to heck. Whoever owns it, put a fortune into trying to make it nice, and then forgot about the service and maintenance aspect after that. What a shame. Definitely would not recommend this hotel and wish I could get my money back.
