Broken elevator, pool and hot tub. Unfriendly staff and hidden fees that they didn’t disclose or send an invoice for to explain charges.

We spend 1 night. Good hotel. We had all what we needed. Very nice heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Even hotel is old, but very clean, beds are comfortable.

I didn't relaing that most of the amenities would not be available when I booked. The on site bar & restaurant we closed. The pool and hot tub were filthy. They charged full price without advertized amenities. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere.

Very outdated and the carpet in the hallway appeared to be just worn out and dirty. Location was very good though. You have to go up 4-5 steps to get to the elevator which is challenging if your luggage is heavy.

Pros: next to mountain. Excellent location. Free and easy parking. Comfy bed. Cons: no room refrig. No bottled water anywhere. Old room keys. No functioning hot tub. Bad pool.

The hotel needs an update for sure. The hot tub was filthy, so gross. The pool was nice, and warm for a chilly night swim. There are only a handful of accessible outlets in the room and majority of them are in use by other appliances, so no multi-charging. The stay was fine, but just not up to it’s potential

The room was cluttered with very old furnishings such as TV cabinet and dusty linen lamp shades from 1900. The carpet was stained and worn out. The elevator was out of order. No coffee or hot water was offered.

The property needs to be updated, it is not handicapped accessible. Steps to the elevator. The staff is ok but does not offer help with luggage for those that are handicapped! Would not stay there again.

Nice hotel, everything was pretty outdated though. Which was part of the charm. It is pre ADA. But it was clean and cute and housekeeping did a great job while we were out for the day. Heated outside pool was amazing! The desciption was wrong though, it said they serve free continental breakfast along with the free parking but they do not offer free continental breakfast. They have a restaurant instead so we opted to eat at other nearby restaurants. Teton Village has a lot to offer! Very fun stay there!

I like to be kind in my reviews but Alpenhof seriously needs to upgrade its rooms. I have never seen carpet as disgusting as it was in our room. The decor and the bathroom are very outdated. We had a balcony room but no table or chairs on the balcony. Most of the restaurants and bars at Alpenhof were closed. I paid a lot of money for this stay and expected a luxury room. It was not luxurious in the least. Would not recommend this hotel.

Breakfast is not included for $300+ per night! One can buy some breakfast sandwiches at the Cowboy Coffee downstairs $10-$13 which is not affiliated with the Alpenhof. There is a Bistro with extremely limited and overpriced options available Thursday- Sunday 1-8 PM. Only visited by a handful patrons not surprisingly. I have never seen such a worn-out, dirty carpet in any hotel I have ever been to for a fraction of the cost. It’s disgusting. Rooms and bath are very small. Linens and towels are very clean. King size mattress felt comfortable, slept well. Coffee and tea are offered via a Keurig machine in room, coffee annd cool water in the lobby. Again carpet probably needed replacement five years ago perhaps with different flooring options. The outside grounds with the the wooden deck looks appealing and very fitting into the surroundings. Looks like a chalet in the Swiss mountains; however, inside cleanliness and amenities are much to be desired.

The property is very old. Carpets are filthy and looks like it’s over 100 years old. It’s not value for money we paid for the rooms. They are no better than cheap motels. Very disappointed

Not sure how this property had a good rating on Expedia. I no longer trust their ratings. This place was a filthy pigsty. Hotel carpet was dirty throughout. Old, worn. Furniture was scratched, old and dated. Elevator barely worked. Do more research and stay somewhere else. If you’re just doing the Grand Tetons, stay in Jackson.

The room was dark, small, rugs filthy, shower had no pressure. For the price of the room we were highly dissatisfied and will never stay there again. Also, as senior citizens we had difficulty carrying our luggage to the 2nd floor. In general we felt the facility was filthy and run down and over priced.

Great location, nice employees, but it wasn’t the cleanest

The location and property were great. The staff we had contact were friendly and as helpful as could be. We were a little disappointed in that in a three night at no time did the room get cleaned or get fresh towels. My wife saw a housekeeper in the hall and requested towels. The person did not seem to speak and English and there was a little difficulty communicating. She was able to finally get fresh towels.

Alpenhof locates at Teton village, a beautiful place nestled at the foot of the mountain. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. You can see the mountains from your balcony. There was a small hiccup — the bathtub drain was clogged, but they sent someone to fix it quickly. The overall experience is excellent and is really a good place to stay if you visit Grand Teton

The area was very nice, but the hotel itself was quite run down. I probably should have done more research on the season, as the restaurant/bar was barely open and not much promoting it. The staff was friendly and the room amenities were great. While the room was clean, the carpets need some TLC for sure.

Alpenhof sits in the middle of Teton Village and is very convenient to reach. It is situated well within reach of all the Grant Teton Park activities. It has a great coffee store, Cowboy Coffee, where the service was excellent. The rooms are a bit confined and are well decorated and we found our king bed to be very comfortable. The staff was nice and we enjoyed the hotel.

Room was dark and cramped with burlap lamp shades which would be hard to clean. The door lock was old school key with no sound proofing. The room was clean with no view. Restaurant was not operating during our stay.

I would have no reservations rating the Alpenhof among the best hotels we have stayed at. We got upgraded to the double room suite with king beds and our family of four could not have been more grateful. Beautiful spacious rooms with old school Bavarian charm, huge balcony out of both bedrooms looking out to the central area and hills beyond. Both rooms had great air conditioning. Overall, could not have asked for more and would certainly stay here again.

Difficult to drop off at property and then park. Key entry was so difficult for me and 3 other guests I spoke to. Why not keyless or fix confusing unlock? Noisy AC in room. Tiny free frig with no freezer. Toilet paper sucked. Curtains on window of room cover the AC when closed.

The room could have better lighting. Otherwise it was good.

We stayed in a king size room mid Sept. room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough. Everything is dated. Rugs need to be replaced. Extension cords running around room for wall ac unit and lamps. Shower head was so low that I need to practically do a back bend to rinse my hair. Elevator was tiny and slow. Very limited tv. Overall okay and clean but overpriced for how dated the place is.

We had a two bedroom two bathroom suite! SWEET! And an area with a microwave and dining table. It had so much personality! A bit hard to find in amongst the village. The next morning, We walked to the aerial tram which was FANTASTIC including waffles up in the sky! Good times.

You are definitely paying for location at this hotel. Right in the heart of Teton Village. Rooms are super old with no AC. The front desk did give us a box fan so that was helpful. Bed and sheets were clean, pool and hot tub were good. But overall super old hotel without any kind of updates.

It is a very charming lodge from outside but very old inside, needs renovation: carpet and furniture need to be changed, rooms are very dark, need more lights. We had a family suite where only one TV out of 3 was working. Front desk representatives are friendly but not helpful. Window repair with drilling started in the morning we were leaving without any notifications, we could not sleep.

Cool Alpine style lodge, very unique compared to the other hotel options in Teton Village. Great value! And staff was very friendly and helpful.

The pictures on the web make this look like a very nice place. Pictures must have been from decades ago. The hotel looks charming from a distance but suffers when you get up close. ADA it is not. There was also no one available to assist with the luggage. The elevator does not actually go to the lobby. For some reason they make you go up a flight of 7 or 8 stairs to get to the elevator. Weird. The room was a decent size, but the AC unit was way undersize for the room. It was not that hot during our stay, but the little AC just couldn't keep up. You could tell it was trying as it was so noisy. The room was also quite dirty. We avoided going barefoot. If you wanted to use the desk and turn on its light, you had to unplug the little refrigerator, and the plug is behind the desk. The bathroom is quite small but functional. The unusual very-short toilet actually sits under the vanity shelf. Getting up can be a challenge. Almost looks like it was added at some time in the past. Very weird. The staff was not helpful at all. We felt like we were an imposition. I know we were there in the off season, but the lack of service was really bad. There are plenty of newer and better-looking accommodations in this area of the resort that would be a better choice than here, unless you can't stay away from the old-world charm, and the old-world problems. The best thing here was the morning coffee in the lobby. It comes from Cowboy Coffee located on the main floor.

Amazing staff!!!!

Staff was less than welcoming, no info provided about amenities/parking, just a basic "how many room keys" Hotel is aged, carpets are dirty and furniture is worn, bar/bistro was closed and coffee shop wasn't open at 7am as we were told it would be. Overall didn't give us the feeling that we want to go back.

Courteous and friendly staff. Extremely helpful with changes that had to be made due to hospital stay. So thankful for their assistance.

I've stayed here a couple of times now. Each time the service was top notch.

Access to trails in Grand Teton National Parj was excellent. Just a short drive - 5 minutes.

Hotel was in excellent location

Stayed at the Alpenhof for a couple nights and had a good time. Parking and checking in was always easy and the room was as expected. Close to Jackson, lakes, and the village had the gondolas and other things to do, which was nice. If I was back in Wyoming in the winter, I would stay again.

Loved the ease of access to Teton Village and the views are spectacular!

Great location with very helpful staff. You are literally a few steps away from the Jackson Hole ski gondola. Resort is very charming if a bit dated but in some ways this adds to the charm.

It's a fabulous boutique hotel. Would love to see some upgrades to the finishes, however, it is a great place for the price and location.

Hotel was ski lodge style. Cute furnishing in rooms. Room was on the small side but clean and cozy. I was disappointed to find the outdoor pool unusable, due to being dirty. Onsite coffee shop was nice.

Very old building and not very well maintained. Carpet was warn out. Kitchen was shut down. So, no breakfast. Would not recommend and website makes it seem much better than it is.

The room was expensive and in need of updating. No breakfast included, and the adjoining coffee/breakfast place had very mediocre food. No reason to go back.

Very nice property but dated. Great location, close to lifts. Very clean. Restaurant service is excellent, however food is mediocre.

Loved the quaint Swiss chalet architecture, very helpful, friendly staff, comfortable accommodations (room service provided daily), renovated bathroom, great breakfast buffet at Snake River Lodge next door (I had to request vouchers), pool and hot tub at Snake River looked relaxing (although I did not have a chance to use). Best value relative to other hotels in this location.

The hotel is in need of a major renovation (rooms, carpets, lobby etc.). They no longer have a restaurant. The facility that was previously a restaurant operates only in the afternoon and evening with a very limited food option. Next time I ski in Jackson I will choose a different hotel.

Very cute and cosy Swiss style lodge. Nice staff, water refill in lobby. K cups available . A couple nice touches were the bathrobes in room and 2 public restrooms in addition to the one in your room. If I had to pick negative aspects, it would be the low water pressure and dark rooms (though when trying to sleep that was good). And that the restaurant and cafe was already closed for the season mid September even though weather was great .

Hotel was fine. A little dated but comfortable. I had read a review about how good the breakfast was so was very surprised to find they don’t offer breakfast.
