Kohea Kai Hotel Maui

We had a late Checkin but the service was on point, I was even shown to my room tho it was late and he couldn’t have been any more welcoming. The grounds person I encountered in the morning outside was equally friendly and kind. Place was comfy, clean and slept very soundly. Thank you for the wonderful experience and super close to beach!

I wouldn’t stay here unless it’s all you could afford and there is no other option. Room was dirty and bathroom drawers were falling apart. Long black hairs left in the shower. The bed was uncomfortable and cheap. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the next room. I have never written a negative review but this felt necessary.

Very clean and a great place to spend our last night in Maui!

It was just... okay. Friendly staff, room was average, kinda dated, location was great, easy to find. For what you pay I'd expect a nicer experience but I guess everything in Hawaii is outrageously expensive. Wifi also didn't work which they kindly refunded the hotel fee for, but still, I wasn't impressed.

Great staff. Friendly, helpful. Loved hearing the sound of the ocean from bed at night. What's that Izzy said, the sound of the ocean soothes my restless soul...
