Very poor breakfast offering, most people looked at it and left. Swimming pool and hot tub “closed for repairs”. Internet speed was slow. After this stay I’ll be avoiding Days Inn motels.

Run down motor lodge. Pool closed, hot tub closed. Rooms were grubby, hair on beds/ moldy bathrooms. Ice machine broken. No glassware on site anywhere. Noisy. Breakfast very poor. Staff was friendly but oblivious to property conditions.

We were very disappointed that the pool was closed . There was no notification about it . Not even online on their own website . When we arrived they casually mentioned that it was closed and being fixed . We were with a big group of family members and half of them left and went to stay elsewhere . Staff member was very rude about it all . Double check before you come here to see if the pool is open !

The rooms were recently renovated but not professionally. Clean and new. Bathroom was super tiny couldn't open the door if using the toilet. Beds were comfortable. Our room overlooked what used to be a pool but doesn't appear to have been a pool for a while for repairs. Breakfast was excellent, eggs sausage baked goods very nice.

The room was probably the dirtiest room I've stayed in. When i complained, they told me I can't expect the room to be spotless. There was a mat at the door that was so dirty you couldn't tell what color it was. Stains on the bedding, hair all over the floor, bathroom floor was disgusting. We left early because the stay was so uncomfortable.

Our room had long, black, curly hair in our sheets upon arrival- my partner and I have blonde hair. Our bathtub also had quite a bit of long hair in it. While inspecting the bathtub, there was a giant wad of long hair in the drain. It was all very off putting. We wanted to use the pool and hottub as advertised on the outside of the building, but the receptionist told us they weren’t working. This I can totally understand. It happens. Staff were fairly friendly, especially when my keys stopped working on the first day of our stay. They gladly replaced them. I won’t be back unfortunately due to the unsanitary state of our room.

We checked in late and was sadly disappointed when we arrived at room. The bathroom area was disgusting, black hardened slime in corners by tub and someone’s long black hair in our towels and tub. This was and will be last time we stay here.

The bedding was stained. Toilet was dirty floors were disgusting my feet got black from just walking to the shower to the bed! Very pore cleaning and the lobby smelt like animal pee when i complained they just looked at me funny and said my deposit would be inmy account in 2 to 3 days it has now been 5 days sense i left

Rooms numbered 217 to 223 were in an annex with the swimming pool and a common area. It is an echo chamber and noisy. There was a door to the adjoining room that transferred noise from room to room. Otherwise no complaints.

It’s a very clean hotel comfortable beds. I’ll stay here again for sure. The breakfast was good and fresh and plentiful egg sausage waffles not much fruit there which was a bit disappointing, but there was yogurt. The juice was very watery but all in all a decent place safe the staff are wonderful and kind. The gentleman at the desk is a nice man and yeah, I’ll stay there again.

We checked in late at night, and the front desk staff didn’t seem very welcoming, which made it feel uncomfortable to make any requests. The room lacked basic amenities no water bottles, no slippers, and no dental kits. The bed sheets were so wrinkled they appeared as though they had been used before. The so-called high-speed Wi-Fi only reached speeds of 3–4 Mbps. On the positive side, the breakfast was decent.

The breakfast room was great and lots of choices for breakfast. Liked the waffles I could toast. Room had choices for decaf and regular coffee. Very spacious and big desk as my husband had a zoom meeting - great wifi. Only suggestion is that although the bar fridge was a good size the freezer door was missing. so couldn't freeze our cooler packs. very quiet. If you are counting on using the pool I suggest you call ahead as it is under construction now we were told.

I had to change hotels and was helped with my baggage before my room could be ready. -9 am. I had to leave for work so could not stay or come back after check-in. The staff held my belongings and moved them to my room for me.

Our 4 night stay was excellent overall. The pool and hot tub were under construction, but we were aware of that when we booked. The staff were friendly and did an excellent job. The outside of the hotel was quite dated but they were working on refreshing it. Our room had gotten a refresh, we had a great nights rest every night. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Having to call the front desk for bedsheets that have actually been washed and being told that housekeeping is done for the day. Then sending grandpa in his slippers to come and change them, is more than enough that this establishment should consider closing.

My stay was average in every way. Room was OK. Breakfast offered less options than other Days Inns. Check in staff were indifferent at best. Location is good. Pool not working, neither was the vending machine. A small discount for pool unavailability would have been nice.

Clean supper large room. We stayed on the ground floor so we could park right in front of our door. No walking up stairs . Good breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. Only Minutes from shopping and restaurants . I will definitely stay again when I visit Vernon

Breakfast was just ok. Eggos, boiled eggs, cold sausage. Outdoor seating area railings for breakfast was covered in bird poop. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. They kept taking 2 towels out leaving us with only 2 for 4 people. I would forgo the breakfast for a nicer place next time.

We did not like our stay at the Days Inn in Vernon. The room was spacious, but there was hair in the shower and old blue toothpaste smeared on the wall. The air conditioning unit is very loud. The swimming pool was out of service and we were not notified of this at the time of booking or before we showed up. Staff didn’t seem very friendly but the worst part was breakfast. It consists of hard boiled eggs in a crockpot, sausages and hashbrowns and soggy previously frozen waffles that you put in the toaster, along with toast and muffins. None of it looked appetizing and it’s nothing like we’ve had at other Days Inn.

It’s a very clean hotel comfortable beds. I’ll stay here again for sure. The breakfast was good and fresh and plentiful egg sausage waffles not much fruit there which was a bit disappointing, but there was yogurt. The juice was very watery but all in all a decent place safe the staff are wonderful and kind. The gentleman at the desk is a nice man and yeah, I’ll stay there again.

Our 4 night stay was excellent overall. The pool and hot tub were under construction, but we were aware of that when we booked. The staff were friendly and did an excellent job. The outside of the hotel was quite dated but they were working on refreshing it. Our room had gotten a refresh, we had a great nights rest every night. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Room was clean, but bathroom was dated. Breakfast was warm but not hot, selection limited. Pool was closed for repairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

My bedding had stains, and the desk was visibly dirty. The food section was concerning - the employee touched some of the food with their hands. Coffee was very bad.

The breakfast room was great and lots of choices for breakfast. Liked the waffles I could toast. Room had choices for decaf and regular coffee. Very spacious and big desk as my husband had a zoom meeting - great wifi. Only suggestion is that although the bar fridge was a good size the freezer door was missing. so couldn't freeze our cooler packs. very quiet. If you are counting on using the pool I suggest you call ahead as it is under construction now we were told.

My stay was average in every way. Room was OK. Breakfast offered less options than other Days Inns. Check in staff were indifferent at best. Location is good. Pool not working, neither was the vending machine. A small discount for pool unavailability would have been nice.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and were satisfied with the quality, cleanliness, room but this time we were surprised at how poor this hotel has become. The room wasn’t clean, the linen and towels were grubby looking. There were coffee stains on the sink that I was able to clean with water and paper towel, which made me think the sink area wasn’t cleaned. The breakfast area is far too small for the amount of guests. We won’t be staying there again.

I usually have confidence booking at Days Inn when wanting a more economical vacation option, however was a bit disappointed with the Vernon location. The price was higher than it should have been, however it was a July Saturday in Okanagan so that was understandable enough. We only stayed one night while on an annual vacation in Okanagan & Kootenays. We didn't expect most of the property to be motel style, entering rooms from the parking lot. The only other rooms backed onto the pool and I imagine would be loud as it echoed a lot in there. We went to the pool when it opened on a weekend and it wasn't opened. They did open upon requesting it, however half an hour later the pool towels weren't yet stocked so we had to find someone to ask for that as well. The breakfast options weren't great compared to other locations. They offered thawed frozen waffles and a toaster instead of a waffle maker like other similar hotels. There weren't many tables in the breakfast area. I asked to go check out in person and was told to do it online, even though I was standing at the desk in front of the employee. The staff was pleasant enough, the room was clean, and overall it wasn't a terrible stay. However, I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't say this location is comparable to other locations of this franchise.
