Has to pay for parking but it was nice that they had an overflow parking garage. Location is great. 8 min walk to Disneyland. Next to CVS, lots of close places to eat. No breakfast but my kids never eat hotel breakfast anyway. Kind of old and you can hear people in the halls but it was good enough to stay a couple nights.

Parking was ok, only 2 spots for arriving guests. This hotel very busy. Should have more. My room was warm. A/C not working properly.

The hotel is near corner of Harbor & Katella…it’s an easy walk to Disneyland Resort. There is a CVS on same side of street on corner and a Walgreens across the way, so if you forget anything they’ve got you covered. Plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. Staff very friendly & helpful. Lobby clean and smelled great when I walked in. Room nice, towels are big & fluffy. Mini fridge in room. Pool area nice, just enough to get a little swim or float around….not huge, just right. Price wise it was VERY reasonable, much lower than surrounding properties and still close to Disneyland (which after all is 99.9% of the visitors that stay). My only complaint is the parking….the parking area is sandwiched between buildings and the neighboring Residence Inn. A lot of us were in SUV’s and it was a bit of work to get in and out, then VERY little space between cars. With many having larger cars and having kids the space is small. Overall really enjoyed this hotel….i will definitely have this as my #1 choice when going to Disneyland /Anaheim again.

We are a family of 5. We got the family suite with the bunk beds, big hit with the kiddos. Each kid got to sleep one night on the top bunk and would alternate between the bottom bunk and the pull out sofa. The sofa bed was not too comfy for an adult to sleep in but ok for a small child as the mattress is thin and flimsy. The beds all were comfortable. Only downside was that there was limited parking spaces. Plus side was that very close to Disney parks. About 20 minutes to walk to the park. We were able to walk to the Toy Story parking lot and get the free shuttle to Disneyland in about 10 minutes. We were told there was also a shuttle that stops in front of the hotel that takes you to the parks for $2 per person but we decided to just do the free shuttle. We even got to enjoy the pool. Spa was heated and pool water was just right. Will stay here again

We stayed in a King Suite and felt safe and comfortable. The pull out bed was pretty lumpy but that’s to be expected with a pull out bed. The pool was clean and has nice loungers but was a pretty small area and got crowded. If the pool is an important part of your trip I would stay somewhere else. I was able to walk to Disneyland in about 10-15 minutes depending on crowds and when I hit traffic lights. It’s right next to a cvs which was very convenient as well. All the hotels I’ve stayed at near Disney in the under $200 a night range are about the same quality wise, but this was a great affordable and walkable option for a Disneyland trip.

The pool was heated and the hot tub was nice. The kids enjoyed playing in it. There is not much parking right outside the buildings. It was easier to park in the larger structure and walk down to the hotel. We stayed in the separate tower and had access directly onto Harbor Blvd. The room could’ve been a little cleaner, but for the price and convenience to the Disneyland Resort, I would definitely stay here again.

we were there for a disney trip. did not expect to have to walk to the adjacent building- no big deal, but no airconditioning in the hallways; elevator sounded suspect as well. and no body cleansor in the shower; they never replaced it in 4 days

If you’re looking for a hotel to rest, sleep, relax this is NOT your hotel! The mattress was like laying on plywood. The walls and ceiling were paper thin. Sounded like a herd of elephants above us. The bathroom was not clean. Hair left on the floor. Old urine left on the toilet bowl. The trash man picked up the trash bright & early one morning so loud banging the bins around. The parking is horrible. Tiny & very few spaces. I stood in the lobby for 5 min until someone finally came out to check me in. Very unwelcoming like I was bothering her.

Had to change rooms after night one because we found 5 bugs in the room!!! 3 of them being SPIDERS!! Was told “oh it’s because you are on the first floor”. As a flight attendant who spends most of the year in hotel rooms I’ll tell you now that’s a pathetic excuse!! When we got to our new room 3 flys were in the sink and the curtains were half broken! I never stay here again

In the past this hotel and it's location made it our obvious choice. The staff are friendly and attentive and the pool is warm and clean but the halls and rooms (we had 2) had an odd odor, like sewage. The hallways were heavily scented, which made us believe the management knew and was covering up a larger problem.

Staff was great but room was dirty. Furniture falling apart Elevator hand rail also falling off. We only stayed one night could not sleep because there was something leaking from the vent by the entrance. Beds are very uncomfortable. Convenience is great. But the cons are too much for us.

We stay at this Hotel before and had a much better experience. Rooms were ok this time but a little run down felling. carpet had big red stain ( Juice I hope ) on floor between beds. room smelled musty. Bathroom was clean.

This was the perfect family hotel for a Disneyland trip! It is about a mile away from the park. It was an easy walk. I love that there was a separate room for the kids. I only gave some four stars because it’s not fancy/luxury. But I would never want that for a family vacation! It was perfect for the type of trip we were on.

Conveniently located, but the rooms are a bit outdated. The bathroom didn't have a fan. The top bunk rail was loose, but we didn't use the top. It was a short walk to the park and parking was free, but the facility needs some updates.

Room was a bit dated, but clean and the bed was comfy. Make sure to bring earplugs because we heard a lot of noise from the hallway, outside the slider, and above us. Overall, a nice hotel, I would definitely stay here again.

Great value, near Disneyland. That’s about it. Walls were thin, felt like our neighbors were in our room. They advertise daily housekeeping but that was not true, they came by once to make the bed and drop off towels. Resort fees are terrible everywhere but when they don’t offer much it’s even worse. Wouldn’t stay here again. Would prefer to stay somewhere else and pay for the ART (Anaheim resort transit) to drop us off in front of Disneyland. We stayed in a regular two queen bed room on the first floor of the main hotel building. Room felt older with small bathroom, outdated wall paper and carpet, chipped furniture, some outlets didn’t work, only had one usb outlet and that one didn’t work. Staff was friendly. Nice lobby and nice looking building from the outside. Pictures online are pretty deceiving. Mostly lobby area and suites in their pictures.

We stayed in a King Suite and felt safe and comfortable. The pull out bed was pretty lumpy but that’s to be expected with a pull out bed. The pool was clean and has nice loungers but was a pretty small area and got crowded. If the pool is an important part of your trip I would stay somewhere else. I was able to walk to Disneyland in about 10-15 minutes depending on crowds and when I hit traffic lights. It’s right next to a cvs which was very convenient as well. All the hotels I’ve stayed at near Disney in the under $200 a night range are about the same quality wise, but this was a great affordable and walkable option for a Disneyland trip.

Room needs to be updated. Shower took forever to get hot water..actually wasted more waiting for the hot water. Plugs in bunk room didnt work so had two plugs to charge things. Shampoo and soap dispensers did not work right.

We've stayed at many hotels in the area and it was our first time at the Portofino. Our stay was fine but we wouldn't come back since we feel as though there are better options. Front desk was kind - we were able to complete pre-registration and park our car there while we went to Disneyland and awaited check-in. Front desk informed us that we would receive a text when our room was ready - which we never did. We also never received any pamphlet containing basic hotel info - map, wifi, amenities, etc. We received our room keys and that was that. At the end of the night, we ended up ordering room service. My salad was delivered without a fork so I called the front desk - she stated she would have someone bring a fork to our room and nobody ever showed up. No breakfast available, which is also a bummer. Luckily, there are plenty of breakfast options in the area. Room was clean besides some stains on the carpet. Pillows were both flat and lumpy at the same time. Overall, we'll choose another hotel next time.

Just beware when you book here, they will try to cancel your reservation if they can rent it out for more. I booked my reservation in June through Orbitz for a February trip. I received emails the week leading up to it, but when I got there they said that Orbitz failed to send over the confirmation. They said sorry, but wouldn't offer to help. they said there were no rooms left. I called Orbitz and Orbitz confirmed confirmations are sent automatically and that they did get it. I asked to speak to a manager, but they said none was on duty. When my husband reached over the counter to grab the manager's card, the man at the desk slapped his hand away. My husband said he was calling the Attorney General's office to report Price gouging, only then did the manager miraculously appear and not only did they have a room, they gave us the option of where we wanted the room. First floor... second...near the pool...near the street. Totally shady and unprofessional. Not to mention, our heater wasn't working in the room. We requested it be repaired, they sent a handyman who didn't speak any English, he came in and turned it from on to off.... obviously, that didn't fix the problem. So, just be prepared to have to argue with the staff. That being said, it is conveniently close to the convention center and Downtown Disney, so I would stay again. But I will go in prepared with all my documention again so they can't try to pull their games again.

The hotel is near corner of Harbor & Katella…it’s an easy walk to Disneyland Resort. There is a CVS on same side of street on corner and a Walgreens across the way, so if you forget anything they’ve got you covered. Plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. Pool area nice, just enough to get a little swim or float around….not huge, just right. My only complaint is the parking….the parking area is sandwiched between buildings and the neighboring Residence Inn. my stay was amazing conveniently located across from local restaurants for breakfast lunch dinner prompt service my shower had an issue and maintenance handled it quickly and met expectations the pool area is very comfortable staff was attentive but not intrusive this was a perfect stay highly recommended

Check-in was great, and all staff members should be commended on their professionalism, speed, and courtesy. It was great! The only issue I had was that there wasn't soap in the dispenser, but the front desk supplied bars in lieu. It was approximately 15 minutes' walk from the front door to Disney admission. I go to the park every year or two, and I would gladly use Portofino again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful from day one to check out. Was able to check in early with a minimal fee. Wish room had own microwave esp when coming back from Disney after closing. Room was perfect and comfortable. Short walk to/from Disney.

We stayed here to be close to the convention center. It is! After our tournament we were able to walk to Disney and downtown Disney. All restaurants where so close to never needed a car to go anywhere

The hotel was the perfect size for a group of six. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to Disneyland. There is also a CVS and Coffee Bean without having to leave the parking lot. The pool was heated and the hot tub was nice. The kids enjoyed playing in it. There is not much parking right outside the buildings. It was easier to park in the larger structure and walk down to the hotel. We stayed in the separate tower and had access directly onto Harbor Blvd. The room could’ve been a little cleaner, but for the price and convenience to the Disneyland Resort, I would definitely stay here again.

Pool was great, despite it being closed for our last two days. The hotel was walkable to Disney, or we went to the Toy Story lot and took the free shuttle which was much easier with two kids. Safe were very friendly and accommodating!! Complimentary breakfast would be nice, but overall would stay again!

Would be nice to have airport shuttle like previous visit instead of bus. I’m not able to walk with a suitcase to a bus stop so ended up paying two times for transportation. Some type of breakfast offering is needed as I’m a diabetic. Lobby staff was very helpful and offered assistance with everything.

This was a convenient location to Disney. The info on hotels.com stated it came with free breakfast, but when we got to check in, they said they haven’t had that for years.

The room definitely accommodated my family and I and everyone had their own space to sleep. The beds were comfortable. Even my daughter was impressed with the pull out couch. The only thing I thought was different was that for the amount we paid, there was’t complimentary breakfast.

It very convinent and it cheap, and you can have up to 6 people in one room. You have a 24hr Ihop in front and a CVs in the same block. And its at walking distance of 5 minutos to disneyland

The pictures are completely outdated. Just be warned it’s nothing like the pics. The walls are disgusting. The wallpaper is peeling off, and there is mold on the ceiling. The couches are so gross that we couldn’t even sit on them. I would never stay here again.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Our room was clean, but definitely could have used some maintenance. The sink stoppers were both disconnected and closed, but my husband was able to fix that quickly. There were also several loose outlets that plugs wouldn’t stay plugged into. The hardest part was the street noise at night. I’m sure that’s based on the location of our particular room which was facing Harbor. There were lots of sirens and car engines revving all night long. And we stayed on a Monday-Thursday. We had a white noise machine that helped some, but I was still hearing the street noise over that. I’m sure the rest of the property doesn’t deal with that through, so probably not an issue for most rooms. Ultimately, it was a clean room to sleep in for our Disney trip, so it met our needs.
