A-Line Holiday Park

The A framed cabin was perfect. It was nestled in the trees and the sounds of the birds were lovely. there was a very clean outdoor BBQ, childrens playground, pool and a lot of grassed areas for kids to play freely. The cabin had everything needed in the kitchen and a large sized fridge. The beds were comfy and the shower had great pressure. It had a couple of maintenance issues but none that affected our stay. It was very good value and we would recommend this to fellow travelers.

Such a beautiful location, 5km out of Bendigo in a park like setting, with lovely trees, green grass and a beautiful pool. Quiet, peaceful and very nice. Great cabins, bathroom a little dated but still fantastic. Great TV and comfy bed. Highly recommend it. Just a note, you will be sent a text with the code to get the key afterhours, don't use your phone number as instructed on front door.

This place nice to stay for families. Houses are so good and clean. All the facilities are there to make dinner. Only thing was not accible was the pool. Kids were so dissapointed about it but we took them to a local pool.

Beautiful place, lovely unit, warm swimming pool water, nice shaking water and cooking accessories, clean bbq table…also saw tens of kangaroos jump pass in the evening😊. Recommend family with kids.

This was my first stay at the A-line Holiday Park in Bendigo and the place was beautifully maintained with green grass areas, a playground and pool for the kids and the BBQ area was so big! My stay included a cabin with lots of parking available and neat accessible roads in and out. The cabin was the perfect place for my 5 day get away with quiet on the menu. Plus it came with netflix for when I needed a break from my book. Thank you for my great Christmas getaway I will definitely be back.

The A Line unit was a great novelty for our daughter. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings and look forward to staying again when it is a bit warmer so we can use the pool and BBQ facilities.

Everything was good, only thing needs to work on is there are alot of bushes around the property. So found alot of cobwebs inside the room as well as kids play area.

The check in procedure was average. No one was attending the office so we called the phone number and it rang out. Tried the second number and got through to be told the room key is hidden somewhere. The room was an A frame house, it was ok, had 2 big tv's and new fridge. Was a family room but only had 2 seats in the sitting area for 4 people. And the tv was under the stairs on an angle so hard to see. The bathroom was missing 2 of the 3 towell rails, the toilet roll holder was falling off, and there were no spare towells for the pool. Also the steps upstairs were pretty steap and dangerous for the kids who had to sleep up there. The upstairs window blind was broken and couldnt be closed. Light gobes were missing or not working, a dirty towell was left in the downstairs wardrobe, and the windows and doors let so much noise in from the highway it was terrible. The pool had not been cleaned in a long time, full of dirt and leaves on the bottom ( and it was school holidays ) with broken umbrellas laying on the ground and long time fallen trees too. The safety rails across the concrete bridge arent even attached properly, and rusting to pieces where you touch it. Also the amount of old leaves piled up around the room and roof, and all the paths was crazy. Like no gardening is ever done. It was a bit of a dissappointing stay after seeing it had some good reviews.

A-frame accommodation is at the front of the block right on the Calder Hwy which was quite noisy. There are cabins further back which would be quieter. About 20 mins out of Bendigo CBD. Accommodation is pretty basic, but clean and functional, beds comfortable, reverse cycle air up and down stairs, nice shower. Tea bags and coffee/ sugar/ milk provided. Bedding, towels and mini soaps provided, but not shampoos. Playground for kids plus plenty of room for them to run around. Note there's a small "creek" running through. Web photos are from a while ago- it's looking a bit rundown now, with some gardening needed, gutters due a clean out, and some general TLC. Swimming pool is currently green**** Lots of birdlife. No real fence to the back so likely does still have kangaroos sometimes, but we didn't see them. Also has an outdoor bbq area. Plenty of shade.

The cabin was clean, the bed was nice and the shower was good

The microwave was dirty. The toaster was not clean as well. Looked like it had cheese cooked in it and smelt. Dirty marks on walls needs a lot of tender loving care. Water pressure in the shower was terrible. Stayed in an A Frame and it was very cold. Lots of dead trees in grounds. The photos need redone .

Like :Good ambiance surrounded by trees. Dislike : No key given for security door where we stay Fridge freezer not cleaned. Otherwise everything is okay

Clean room & friendly staff

Soft bed, clean rooms, 2 TVs and so cheap - couldn’t ask for anything else

Property is run down and no-one around to help. We picked keys up in a lock box and dropped them off. No staff met with us for our stay. Room was dirty and hadn't been cleaned properly. The bin still had rubbish in it and items left in the couch. Shower didn't work properly.

It was nightmare to stay there . Property was not clean . Mould in shower and water was going out of shower . Toilet seat was wobbly. Fridge was not clean , it was badly Stained . Internet stopped working around 8 pm so could not watch Tv . There was bloody stains on quilt and on mattress also . Blind chains were broken . Few globes were not working . Rangehood light was not working . We reported issues to the concerned person and he did nothing about it . It was undoubtedly our worst experience. Would never recommend this.

A-Line Cabins could do with a few more kitchen items. No microwave bowl, no spatula, only 3 wine glasses (sleeps 4)

Room C11 was nice and clean although the shower needed some Exit Mould before we used it (we bought some to treat the shower!) The shower pressure was terrible (like being outside in the rain - dripping more than flowing) and the difference between cold and scorching was very hit and miss. The kitchen water was extremely hot and the pressure in the kitchen was amazing - shame it wasn’t the same in the bathroom - they must have a limiter in the bathroom to save water. In the kitchen there was a kettle, small stove, microwave and a reasonable sized fridge. That was great except that the ice tray was cracked and leaking (not a deal breaker!) Bathroom - creaky floors, noisy exhaust fan and the heat lamp was only half working Bedroom - bed was squeaky, mattress was hard and fairly uncomfortable - not sure about the pillows as we took our own. Be careful when getting out of bed in the middle of the night as the bed is so close to the wall that you hit your nose on the wall as you stand up! Screen/security door was hard to lock - sometimes it did - sometimes it didn’t! Other than that - the location was convenient

The property was serviceable enough, but it was tired and lacked attention to detail in a lot of areas. Would stay there again though as the location was very convenient to the purpose of my trip

Have stayed hear before and noted some renovations have been done since last visit. Would stay again as it’s good value and quite acceptable for a small group or family. However some maintenance issues like doors and leaking shower head etc need attending to.

Great location. Very good layout for the cabin. Some maintenance was needed. Would stay again.

The manager of the site needs to carry his mobile on himself not leave in the car when not in reception!

Lovely location and ideal unit. Only problem reception not staffed. We had a bit of a problem signing in and getting codes for wi fi. One of the ladies cleaning units saw us and soon had problems solved.

Always consistent in quality comfortable amenities!

Comfortable. Easy to book in and out. Convenient

No host on property so underwhelming check in and service. Fridge worked on a lean but broken, very limited cooking utensils and no washing up materials. Had to buy our own. Remote batteries dead. Had potential but the worst property out of 5 we stayed in over 9 days away.

Clean comfortable and consistent quality service

Offers a nice private place, pity the trucks don't limit their compression braking going past. Would go back for sure.
