The hotel was lovely, with well set out eating areas and bars. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely. However, there were one or two maintenance issues, causing a couple of room switches not to work. The source of which turned out to be a "tripped" connection behind the bed's headboard. Also, the room was excessively hot, with no customer instruction upon how to regulate the room's thermostat or fan, to turn it down. Additionally, Hotels'.com had appeared to send incorrect information to the hotel and had forgotten to mention that my price included breakfast. I had to show them the full details of my booking on my mobile. Luckily, the staff at the hotel were very nice and refunded the price of the breakfast to my bank card.

This is an excellent hotel and we have stayed a few times over the years here and also a couple of months ago. We have family in Coventry and my partner is from here. Unfortunately this time there was an issue with the water which no one informed us about until I made a complaint. Hardly anything coming out of the shower or the sink and a long time before it became warm in the sink especially. We were here for a maternal funeral making it not a good time to have any issues. The bar and restaurant were great and Josh in the bar area exceeded expectations in his customer service making it a better experience. All in all worth staying at very peaceful and lots of space and facilities and food Can be ordered around the clock.

Hotel was clean and tidy but couldn’t access WiFi unless you were an IHG member, also no heating controls worked, and tv came on to welcome screen but couldn’t access any channels or sound, and still annoyed about paying £10 a night to park, when you’ve given them your custom.

The Spanish receptionist made it for us (ricoco?) so friendly and likeable. Nice looking hotel lovely breakfast. Sadly the two things that let it down were paying for parking and the tiny “double” beds.. pillows not comfortable either..

We stayed for a night in their 2 bedroom apartment, room 115. On the surface, all looked good but upon closer inspection the place needs a good clean. You can write your name in the dust on the blinds, there was left over cereal in one of the cupboards, hair in the bath and the carpets were filthy behind the doors so they obviously just hoover around things. The toilet had come away from the wall causing our daughter to nearly fall off and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke while laying in the main bed. Not sure if the smell was from the mattress or coming from other rooms. No information was given to us about the hotel when we checked in although the receptionist did point us in the direction of the room as it’s up several different flights of stairs. There isn’t a lift and so if you aren’t able to hump your luggage up lots of stairs this might not be the hotel for you! We weren’t impressed and will not be returning.

The bathroom wasn't clean! There was a faecal soiling on bathroom floor, in the corner next to the bath, covered by a piece of toilet paper. Disgusting. Also, the staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. Finally, the restaurant menu is limited and the food is below expected standard.

The botel is nice, handy location and welcoming. The rooms though are tiny. Bathrooms are ok but again small. Beds are particularly comfotable and small. Breakfast is good. Nearby shops are very handy. A good hotel with freindly staff which is clean and tidy but just a little bit snug in the rooms.

Hotel is tired. The rooms are basic and the heating or air conditioning didn’t work. My room had not insulation and it was absolutely freezing at night. I will never stay at this hotel again!!! Terrible!

Hotel was nice, but being a Motorway junction hotel, not much in area understandably, but close enough to the Hospital for my purposes. Noise from televisions in neighbouring rooms could be heard, but I'm sure they could hear mine too, but other than that a very enjoyable stay with very nice food.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was too weak, and shutting off randomly, and it's in the middle of a heat wave, so we had a terrible night of sleep, sweating on the bed. Windows don't open, and wouldn't have made any difference. All reception could do was to provide us with a desk fan that was also too weak and not enough for everyone in the room. It doesn't matter how good the rest was, when we have such an awful night of sleep on a hotel, it ruins the whole experience. We're never coming back to this hotel.

On arrival phone and TV in room did not work, a member of staff arrived to fix the TV but could not do anything about the phone. Walls were paper thin, could hear our neighbours talking loudly until 4am. On departure I asked for a credit but was told nothing could be done as I had booked through Expedia. Not impressed!

Excellent Stay at this hotel. Rooms and hotel was immaculate and recently renovated. The staff were all very professional and friendly and breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were very comfy and well equipped but a little on the small side but that is literally the only downside to this otherwise wonderful hotel.

Nice property. It is advertised as having AC but it is really just a system that blows air. It was unseasonably warm while we were there so the room was a bit warm. The rest of the hotel was cool and you can open a window at night to cool your room while you sleep.

The staff at Holiday Inn Coventry M6, were very warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. John the night manager was especially kind. Lovely team from the front desk, restaurant and service staff. Highly recommended.

Hotel was nice, but being a Motorway junction hotel, not much in area understandably, but close enough to the Hospital for my purposes. Noise from televisions in neighbouring rooms could be heard, but I'm sure they could hear mine too, but other than that a very enjoyable stay with very nice food.

Hotel and rooms were clean. Hotel reception was very helpful. Good selection of food. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable and I slept well. I came for an event at the Coventry Building Society Arena. This hotel is 8 minutes away and £50 cheaper per night on average

At the Holiday Inn, the room was relaxing and comfortable. At first we were given what I considered as a tiny room and adjustment was made after we paid extra money to be moved to a much bigger room. The environment was neat but mini bar was empty, the breakfast was contented and delicious. Overall, our stay was good 👍

Exceptional staff, really friendly and helpful. They all seemed to work well together, which gave a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Lovely comfortable rooms and public areas. The restaurant food was really good quality and well priced. Fantastic breakfast options and again brilliant quality. Only stayed for one night but will definitely be our go to hotel when we need a midland stop next.

Excellent Stay at this hotel. Rooms and hotel was immaculate and recently renovated. The staff were all very professional and friendly and breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were very comfy and well equipped but a little on the small side but that is literally the only downside to this otherwise wonderful hotel.

Arrived after 9pm Reception was amazing booked in and key in hand within minutes Clear directions to room and breakfast times etc Room was clean and inviting Bed was very comfortable great night sleep Breakfast buffet had a wide range of options The full English breakfast was fresh and the whole area was clean Check out was easy and quick All the staff were great with lovely smiles throughout stay

The bathroom wasn't clean! There was a faecal soiling on bathroom floor, in the corner next to the bath, covered by a piece of toilet paper. Disgusting. Also, the staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. Finally, the restaurant menu is limited and the food is below expected standard.

Great hotel particularly considering the cheaper cost, lots of amenities nearby good food/fun too. Big lobby and hotel bar, and rooms clean and tidy - not the comfiest bed though. Staff were great.

Firstly, the staff were wonderful on arrival, namely Tom and Ron. Though on check out slightly disappointing. Unfortunately the room cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Bath had hairs in, bathroom floor wasn’t clean and needed to be swept. Soap dispensers had leaked and the bin hadn’t been emptied. There was a sticky residue on the desk area which I assume was from a drink from the previous occupiers. In regards to maintenance of the room, one of the bedside lights didn’t work, two power sockets didn’t work and also the hairdryer. Curtains had come away from the track also. The real star of the show were the staff, especially Tom on reception who was a lovely bubbly character. Even with the relatively minor faults, we would stay here again and I’m almost certain if I’d have addressed these issues with the management they would have resolved them or moved us to a different room. For the price we paid and the level of staff service upon check in we were happy overall.
