Almost every room has a view of the ocean except the 1st floor. Staff was helpful and polite. The pool isn't heated, so we didn't use, the parking lot was really dark at night. They were working on painting the exterior. Would stay again for the beach location.

Place was great. Breakfast not so great. Great options but either cold or something with one thing or another. Coffee was great and always available. Loved that. Pool was beautiful and access to the beach was great. Needed lights though to get back to the correct place to come in from beach at night that were not there. Great trip anyhow.

Service was ok...motel was under construction which was not explained beforehand. Alot of dirt and dust everywhere including the parking area. Very poor lighting..no lights at all on the stairways or where you entered your room. Heater in room broken. Had to move to another room. Phone in room didn't work. No way to contact front desk with cell phone. .all numbers listed online were reservation services. Room numbers stuck in the windows instead of attached to the doors.I would not recommend to anyone.

The property was being renovated. But, it was still a good stay. The complaints were the breakfast area was not in use and the pool needs better claning. So, breakfast was grab & go and pool had dirt on the bottom. All rooms are oceanview. Great location.

Staff was very friendly, the room was somewhat clean, the breakfast was very good, you are with in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shopping, but the room we where in was full of mold. When we told the front staff all he said was it's an old building so I'm sure there is leaks.

This is an older property that is obviously well maintained and regularly upgraded. Every member of the staff were remarkably friendly and helpful. And, every time I saw any of them they were hard at work maintaining, upgrading and cleaning. They did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. My room was beautiful, remarkably clean, with a bed that was more comfortable than ones I’ve slept on in much more expensive properties. All that, plus beachfront. It was exactly the getaway I needed. I recommend highly!

The people in the front desk were very nice..But the condition of the property was yucky! I got a room with mold on the floor, and ceiling. There were no lights in the pool area or in the pool.

Outside of building has a older look with areas looking rather rough. However inside room was extremely clean and well kept. Room with a kitchen was on larger size then most. Beds and bathroom were fine. Smart TV was nice for kids to fall asleep to. Proximity to the beach, 3min walk perhaps to the waves, if that, is hard to beat.

There were no towels in the room. We had to ask for them. Also, we found cockroaches in the kitchen and on floor next to front door. Reported it to manager on 7/4/25 but there was not another room to move us to because hotel was full. We killed what we saw. Hotel only compensated us $20.

David did a superb job greeting at the front desk! He took time to share local tidbits for restaurants and gulls, etc. Rooms in state of remodel and upgrade. Very clean. Loved the suites with kitchen/dining and separate bedroom with two queens. Bedding very comfortable. Though described "ocean view" the room overlooked a parking, and the beach was distant but you could see some blue. Other guests were families, very quiet and considerate. From the bedroom, there was road noise from front street. Beach access convenient and in a nice area. Ormond does allow vehicles on the beach. Enjoyed my stay.

This place was super great on the beach with little kitchen and everything you need for a week visit feel right at home and breakfast was awesome The employees were very nice and helpful housekeeping was great as well We will DEFINITELY be staying here again

This is a good budget hotel. It was clean in the rooms. The hotel is undergoing construction and it was not stated on the website anywhere. It was very loud as some one all day Saturday was using an angle grinder. If you want to book here call first and ask about the construction. Do not expect an amazing stay as it says beach view, the “view” is the front area where your door is. There is no balcony, if you want to sit and watch the ocean it will be outside your front door on the walk way where everyone smokes cigarettes.

I liked that the property was right on the ocean. I liked that the room floors were not carpeted. I liked there was a kitchenette with full size refrigerator. I liked that they had a pool. I liked that our room had its own private balcony. I would have preferred an updated bathroom and nicer kitchen cabinets, countertops and appliances. I liked the parks that were driving distance. I would have liked there to have a place to recharge an electric car. Thank you!

The hotel was furnished with clean towels, floors, and bedding. The room smelled, and looked, like it had been cleaned very recently. Given it's on the beach, I expect a small level of sand on the floor. No major complaints! That said, one of the comforters was still damp .. There was a de-humidifier in the room (hallelujah!) which I emptied twice in our less than 24 hours there. My comforter also has some stains/discoloration. It smelled clean but... Not insulated well and street/parking lot sounds carried into the room and woke us intermittently throughout the night. (For the record, I am a SOUND sleeper). If you're looking for a safe, relatively clean place to say that doesn't cost an arm and a leg I recommend.

Upon check in they should have notified guests there was no hot water. When we discovered this they kept telling us it would be just a few hours do to a repair. 48 hours later still no hot water. It was all a ruse. They were still working on it. They refused to credit back any discount for the lack of hot water. Breakfast has gone downhill.

Check in must be at 4:00pm, Saturday 5/15/24 Well at 4:45 still waiting...I have to ask to tle cleaning team please do my 305 room! the worst: other 5 reservations went before us! And the lady knew that we arrive al 12:00 and were at the beach..not excuses

When we checked in the young lady was very nice. I asked her about being able to get coffee because I get up early around 5 or 6 am. She explained that breakfast was not put out until 7 am. I told her all i wanted was to be able to get a cup of coffee. She said coffee would be available. Well, other desk clerks were rude and not friendly. We found out later rhere was no hot water for the shower because of a break. We went to the pool and to be honest it wasn't safe to swim in. We found out that the gentleman who takes care of it slipped and hurt his back. We were also encouraged to only expect room service like we received in our own homes. They would certainly do room service each day but they really hoped we wouldnt. We weren't told of the remodeling project going on either. They worked at night because of the heat during the day. They kept me awake one morning past 2:30 am. So there was our stay...

The large picture window in our room was cracked from top to bottom and taped back together. There was no smoke detector. Although the staff was very friendly and kind, the lady working the evening we arrived was really struggling. Maybe it was her first week, maybe she was poorly trained, but she was having difficulty making room keys, signing people in, & organizing the paperwork. We had to go back later because she forgot to give us our parking pass. The people in line behind us had a reservation and someone was in their room! And finally, the elevator was old, dirty and shaky. The whole place was very outdated.

Let's start with the likes. Staff were very nice. Pool was Great. Location is good. Love the interior parking. Beach, well right out the door. Breakfast was satisfactory. Very large room. King bed was nice, overall room was clean, floors could be kept up better. Wifi, nice TV. The NOT so good. Doors, certain interior areas could use some help. They are always there trying to keep up, so that's OK. Over all I really enjoyed my stay.

Me and my husband stayed for two days and nights was very nice and pleasant in the beach access was great. It’s like having your own beach. It wasn’t crowded at all. I will be back again.

Property is under repair and renovation. Housekeeper did not come to clean the room for our 2 days stay. Breakfast room was under repair so only carry out breakfast which had very limited options.

The people who eork there are very nice. They are doing some work around the place, painting and such. The thing that could use some help is the breakfast buffet. It needs to be monitored more often. Dried out eggs and sausage aren't good.

This place was super great on the beach with little kitchen and everything you need for a week visit feel right at home and breakfast was awesome The employees were very nice and helpful housekeeping was great as well We will DEFINITELY be staying here again

Place was great. Breakfast not so great. Great options but either cold or something with one thing or another. Coffee was great and always available. Loved that. Pool was beautiful and access to the beach was great. Needed lights though to get back to the correct place to come in from beach at night that were not there. Great trip anyhow.

The property was being renovated. But, it was still a good stay. The complaints were the breakfast area was not in use and the pool needs better claning. So, breakfast was grab & go and pool had dirt on the bottom. All rooms are oceanview. Great location.

This was a nightmare. The entire hotel is infested with cockroaches. The maid service was totally incompetent. We had to assist when and if we caught a cleaning lady and sweep our own floors and make our beds and ask multiple times for linens and bed sheets. No mops. No wiping of anything. I wanted a refund immediately but was told there was nothing we could do because we went through expedia. Tried to contact expedia and there are no humans to talk to. We paid ahead for 11 nights. We had t o keep all our possessions up off the floor for fear of infestation. The entire time. On the next to last night the manager had an exterminator that was very rude and demanding I describe the roaches. He proceeded to tell me that those roaches are in all Florida dwellings and do not travel. I beg to differ because we go every year and have never saw any. The manager had the personality of a Karen. I do have to say the evening front desk clerk, Darlene was so sweet and they don't deserve her. The breakfast people were nice as well. This place basically ruined a vacation we saved a year for and I would really appreciate a refund. Either from the property or expedia. I have many pictures to document and hope I can post them all with this.
