Super 8 by Wyndham Clinton/Jackson West

The property need to be cleaned and deep cleaned !!

First let me begin by saying: there was a whole lot going on in The Super 8 by Wyndham (sounds fancy 😆). Remodeling, refurbishing..... A whole lot! The space is a little dated; however, improvements are happening and it will be nice when finished! My initial room, simply did not like me....had to move. The front desk attendant was so kind and patient with me running back and forth to him 1,452 times🤔. It served its purpose and I was not disappointed (The hot water shower... yes Gawd‼️‼️‼️). Didn't smell like cigarettes, fabulous mini refrigerator and freezer... Could put a whole bag of ice in it and a 1.75 ltre of........😂😂😂. Good customer service can erase a plethora of minor irritants. This Young Man was amazing; so polite and accommodating! THE EPITOME OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! Sir, Young Man, Brother---who checked me in and assisted me until I was comfortable. In fact, you insisted... my comfort was a must‼️‼️‼️ I can't say enough about you! Your customer service skills are outstanding and you're an amazing person and I appreciate your temperament and authentic self‼️‼️‼️‼️. Your kindness helped me to instantly decompress and exhale 💨. Thank you for setting the tone for my stay at your establishment! Stellar Job, Well Done!

Everything was broken. The front desk said the property was under new ownership and there was no other room to switch to because my phone didn't work, and the water constantly drips like some is in it.

Mosquitoes was around the breakfast food!!! Doors unlock in the front!! Felt unsafe

You would think they would turn on the air in the room prior to check in Knowing it's 100 degrees outside. Everywhere we went smelled like marijuana. Pool was very cloudy. Garbage buckets left on sidewalk. No garbage bag in bathroom garbage, sticky stuff on vanity. Only things out for breakfast was coffee (I had to ask for it because it was empty) and a waffle machine but no waffle mix, butter, syrup.. I'm not even sure if it was turned on or operable. I, personally, wouldn't go back. Staff was nice.

It is my 2nd report of that hotel. I wa upset with clerk who was man-Indian. He used gesture signs cu we are deaf. Was told that cannot use 1st floor. I signed to rsvp for my low vision blind/deaf. Told to use 2 floor. Found no elevation for my safe low vision blind and almost slip in rub with no rail in tub. Very upset with clerks. No good breakfast. Yes very as and walked out after drop the door card there

Everything was very nice. It’s an older property but very well kept. Convenient to interstate and restaurants. Very reasonably priced.

The sheets on the bed were dirty, it was very evident that someone else had slept in it and the sheets had not been washed. Also, the water pressure was low. Needless to say, I didn’t stay, I just left my key in the room and left. Won’t be staying here again.

I liked the fact that it was close to Choctaw Trails I didn't like the stain on the comforter or the stain on the chair

They gave us the first room and it was dirty second room was also dirty then the front desk guy said he would change rooms so we went to third room that he said was a special room I don’t know what was so special I guess cause we couldn’t get a key for that room and tv wouldn’t work. The only reason we stayed is cause it was late already and we where just passing by but never again will we stay here it’s the worse hotel experience we have had

Need to check housekeeping, old food and food containers under beds. And why a $50 deposit for a room? When asked I was told that the deposit was for damage to the room or missing items from the room. However, on check out no one inspected the room. I did get the deposit back.

The rom we stayed in was clean. Regrettably that is the best comment I have. I requested a receipt for my stay and the Manager told me no. I asked him again and refused again. Told me, that my receipt was with Expedia. All the other motels had no problem in providing me with a receipt. It was advertised great breakfast. There was even a sign in the Lobby that stated, "Super 8 Great Breakfast". This proved to be most deceiving. After asking multiple times, yes there was a language barrier. The Manager provided us with a bag breakfast. This was a muffin, peanut butter crackers and a 6 oz water. I was not impressed. There was coffee, but very little in available in sugar or cream. When asked about the sugar and cream, this was it. We have no plans of staying at this motel any more.

Staff would walk in on you without warning. Lack towels, one every two days. TV sometimes works.

Just an ok property

Very nice room and comfortable bed. There was some banging noises during the evening hours.

We arrived at 9:30pm..went to the room.window was open... cigarette holes in covers.lots of bugs in the light..NO breakfast..we received a to go bag with a small water..a pack of crackers..and a generic ho-ho..if I didn't need to sleep..I wouldn't had stayed here..

Unable to request a non smoke room online. When ask for it at check-in was told could not change to a non smoke room. Then say can, but for a $8 charge. This has happened at other super 8 this trip and they were able to change us to non smoke room no problem. Also had trouble simply checking us in.

Checked in late, no problem, checked in less than 5 minutes.

Booked by mistake and property would not change date to the correct date instead they took my money. Original customer have been coming to the property since 2010. Apparently the old owner Nikki sold it to some scum bags.

Everything was very nice. It’s an older property but very well kept. Convenient to interstate and restaurants. Very reasonably priced.

The stay was OK overall. They really need to improve their breakfast. During our five days stay, I only saw 1piece of fruit in the basket, and that was a banana. They also need to get decaf coffee because I can’t drink regular coffee and that’s all they had over the five days.
