Reception was amazing the staff member was happy, friendly, funny, and full of knowledge 10/10. Lift not working but it happens. The bar was small however had what you need and the bartender was awesome. Breakfast was very good but a bit pricey Room was great and comfortable, shower was hot and big enough. Would stay again

Found the access from the carpark to the entrance Not user friendly as you have to drag your luggage up the steep driveway. Overall we had a very good stay.

Very nice rooms and views. Worst thing is Golf Club closes at 6:00 pm quite ridiculous as you are not wanting to drive anywhere for dinner etc when there are facilities for catering etc.

Stay was OK. Good location for us. Plenty to do on Nepean Peninsula. Unfortunately, they were refitting carpet above our room and working noise started too early. Carpets generally were in need of upgrading in places, and dust over top of tissue box in room gave impression of not being clean. Was not clear about use of parts of complex eg. access to Spike bar for food. Lighting in corridors to rooms was a bit dated and very dull. Lock on patio door was not working and although the golf course view was great, there was evidence of rubbish in the bush below the rooms.

The walk up to the building from the car park is quite steep for walkers; I would have liked to see stairs to make the climb easier. But the reception staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

The property was clean and neat, bed was very comfortable. Downside was the walk from the carpark to the room was quite far and steep. Room was small with no views at all. Bathroom was clean and tidy but small also.

Room is very clean and quiet, however, throughout the night, the heater makes ‘draining’ noises, and water pipes hammer when other rooms use their taps. Check-in process needs a bit of warmth and welcoming feeling. Check-out process is great. I would still recommend staying here because the room is very clean.

Hotel located within the golf course with beautiful golf course views from the room. Staff were lovely and very friendly. The rooms well appointed but a little dirty in some areas in particular along the sliding doors to the balcony and also the carpets could do with steam cleaning.

We had a nice stay, however, the fridge or air conditioning unit clunked every hour, the bedside lamp wouldn’t work and had a loose exposed wire. Also, the shower flooded, thankfully I could stop it from getting to the carpet. The mirrors have some strange circles and smears on that make them look dirty, but you can’t clean it off, so I’m not sure what that was. Over all it was clean and comfortable, but in need of maintenance.

Byo a pillow is a must ( lucky we read reviews and brought them) Bed was horrible to sleep on definitely need new ones, carpets very dirty overall movies on demand were the only thing we enjoyed. Wouldn't stay again.

Room was comfy and cafe in golf club was nice for coffee. Views were nice from room. Disappointed with the rooms as walls are paper thin. We did not get any sleep as the room next to us was up till 1am and then we listened to them snoring the entire night.

The property was very nice but, our room was beside the golf cart garage and so was quite noisey early in the morning and in the afternoon. Out courtyard was shared with 3 rooms so had people walking by our window. Milk in fridge was open when we arrived, TV had an issue but fixed quickly, and initially keys didn’t work. But again was fixed quickly. Little dissapointed given our last stay was better and had views of the golf course.

The ‘king’ beds are just two singles put together - which is usually fine if there’s something more than a sheet on top of the join - but wasn’t the case here which made it very hard to get comfortable. No restaurant open on a Wednesday night, and no courtesy bus into town, so needed to drive everywhere. Otherwise was clean, and picturesque if you get a room with a view.

The fridge in the room wasn't working and no one tried to fix the problem went the issue was raised. I couldn't have my drinks filled during my stay. Also, on the very last day, the fire alarm went off at 6am. There was no staff on site at the time but one staff arrived after everyone was outside of the building. When the fire brigade arrived they couldn't access the controls as the staff member that has just arrived didn't have the master key. I felt that it was a fire hazard oversight and felt unsafe to stay there.

A fantastic location situated on one of the best golf courses in Victoria. Modern, clean facilities with helpful staff who made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for a serene and picturesque break.

Portsea - Mecure was excellent for that weekend away. We went during the week and it was quiet, the views were stunning the local townships were full of opportunities and the local wildlife sanctuaries were well worth visiting. We loved the beaches. We did think the Mecure restaurant would be open for tea but it wasn't . Local amenities were close and convenient.

The bar was small however had what you need and the bartender was awesome. Breakfast was very good but a bit pricey Room was great and comfortable, shower was hot and big enough. Would stay again

Unfortunately the Restaurant wasn't open for our evening meal on Monday night so we had to go elsewhere in the town centre. Otherwise we had a lovely view overlooking the golf course.

Katie at reception was fabulous helped out with comb & toothbrush as left makeup bag home! Nothing was too much for her. Cafe staff excellent. Great stay will visit again

Nice property, but terribly uncomfortable beds. The ‘king’ beds are just two singles put together - which is usually fine if there’s something more than a sheet on top of the join - but wasn’t the case here which made it very hard to get comfortable. No restaurant open on a Wednesday night, and no courtesy bus into town, so needed to drive everywhere. Otherwise was clean, and picturesque if you get a room with a view.

This hotel is in a lovely position right on the golf course and incredibly quiet. Elegant furnishings, a great dining room overlooking the greens and food very reasonably priced. Staff exceptionally helpful.

This was not a bad place to stay however it had a number of quirks. Limited reception hours. Dining room shared or owned by the golf club. Limited menu and very limited hours don't be late booking in the restaueants closes at 6:45pm. Desert is a cake and the cheeseboard is no longer served. The room and view great the hike from parking to reception can be avoided by unloading luggage at the hotel entrance then parking. Probably not a repeat stay.
