Pasadena Hotel & Pool

Very shabby lobby which smells of the burrito shop next door. No welcome, just disinterested clerk, no coffee in room or free early am coffee, only paid breakfast with limited offerings. The room is exceptionally clean; housekeeping does a great job-that and the location thinly positives.

Room was a little small and details were coming undone (decal on shower glass was peeling). Toiletries were unusable when we did receive them, but the hotel was nice, with great lobby, garden area and pool. We thought the pros outweighed the cons. Very walkable location with cafes and restaurants, theaters and shops close by. Had to request maid service and they were persistent, knocking on door beginning at 9:30 AM. However everyone was kind and attentive. Six night stay; would stay again.

Classic Los Angeles hotel in a great location.

This is a special and historic hotel in the heart of Pasadena. It’s undergone a well appointed transformation and the pool area is very nice. Clean, efficiently thought out and comfortable room with a generous sized bathroom.
