Hotel Cristallo

The aircondition was not working as good as we had hoped, but it worked as good as it could according to the owner and her staff. No doubt that we will visit this hotel again due to the excellent food and the view, but we will bring our own fan/cooler.

Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich und ausreichend. Das Bad war etwas eng. Bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt 2025, bei gleicher Kategorie war das Bad sehr großzügig und das Zimmer freier, jedoch ohne 3. Bett. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte bestens. Diese kann per Fernbedienung bedient werden. Ein besonderes Plus. Im TV sind die wichtigsten deutschen Sender vorhanden. Jedoch ist dieser TV etwas klein, jedoch ausreichend. Der Pool ist sehr ordentlich und sauber gehalten. Ausreichend Sonnenschirme sind vorhanden. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Grundsätzlich war es sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück und Abendessen fanden wir allerdings ziemlich enttäuschend. Die Auswahl war dürftig, die Qualität eher gering und auch teilweise nicht frisch. Es ist immer Geschmacksache, uns haben die meisten Gerichte nicht geschmeckt. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass jede mittelmäßige Betriebskantine mit mehr Engagement ihre Gerichte zubereitet. Das Lunchpaket war auch eher trollig. Wir hätten am liebsten die Halbpension abgewählt und sich selbst versorgt, das ging aber nicht.

Hotellet ligger fantastiskt och utsikten är magisk. Tyvärr fick vi påminna om byte av sängkläder. Klimatanläggningen kan i bästa fall kallas för fläkt, då den i princip inte kylde alls.

We stayed at Hotel Cristallo for 11 nights and had a fantastic experience! The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are simply amazing—kind, helpful, and truly wonderful human beings. You can feel their warmth throughout the entire hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and every detail was taken care of. The hotel is in a calm and peaceful area, just an 8-minute walk from the center of Malcesine. There’s a bit of noise from cars and Vespas now and then, but it didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to come back!
