Outstanding place to stay with lovely surroundings, superb breakfast and friendly, helpful hosts

The location was rural and quiet and we had a generous sized room. The host was welcoming and very helpful, offering an excellent breakfast. We would certainly recommend it. The only downside for us was that the bed was very firm and we did not sleep well, but that may not be a problem for others.

Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus.

The Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast Clocaenog Ruthin LL15 2AT This properties location is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Ideal for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway to sleep beneath the stars, or for families that just want to getaway from it all. Excellent location for stargazers, and tranquil walks Catherine is an amazing hostess. Warm welcome on arrival. Very helpful with carrying our baby up to our room in his car seat. Provided a travel cot, and froggy 🐸 for our little man. Knowledgeable of the history of The Old Rectory, and the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent Thank you for a delightful stay
