Aufenthalt für eine Nacht

I arrived late at night and there was no staff at the desk. They merely have a kiosk with a virtual person checking you in. You literally do everything virtually. Luckily, I'm technology savvy however for someone who were older or who's not as savvy it would be an unpleasant experience. I go to my room on the 2nd floor, at the end of a long hallway as a solo female traveler, definitely a no-no. There were no-frills no amenities at all, which I understand. The chair in the room is worn and disgusting. The chair underneath the desk was stuck under the desk and literally when I tried to pull the chair out the desk was moving across the floor. The bed looks like it had not been made from the last guest that stayed. When I woke up this morning after spending the night, I pulled the sheets off the bed and there's literally a bug crawling on the bed. I get out of the bed. I take pictures of the bug and a video. I turned the pillowcases over and there's a pillowcase that's dirty and stained it looks like dried blood. I go down to the front desk when I'm checking out again no human there just the kiosk. Eventually, the front desk associate comes out. I show him the picture of the bug. I showed him the picture of the pillowcase. I asked for a partial refund. I was told oh there's nothing I can do. I have to wait and talk to a manager. I immediately contacted Hotels.com where I booked the reservation for them to assist. I would never stay there again.

First thing was no real person at front desk. There was a virtual video of a worker to help check in. AC in room was not working and I went back to front desk to get help. The virtual employee said to check thermostat on wall which there wasn’t one and to set it to 35. A miserable night with no cool air. Hoping for a partial refund

I stayed at the facility on Thursday September 17th. The staff was cordial and helpful but the bathroom did not come with towels and washcloths. I had to go downstairs to the lobby and inquire. I was given two towels and one washcloth upon request from the staff. Overall it was a good stay

The hotel was in a good location close to restaurants and gas stations. It was also close to the Air Force base which also has its advantages. My individual room was not as clean as I would have liked it, as the phone in the room was filthy and there were fairly large crumbs on the floor possibly from the previous occupant. There were also strands of hair on the towels and facecloths. With that said, I will try this hotel again. I spoke to Super 8 management, and they took my concerns seriously. I have a family in the Air Force at the local base and would like to stay close by while paying a reasonable room rate.
