Lovely property. Beautiful views. Great access to QEW. However, no breakfast provided. Adjacent restaurant not open until 11am. Breakfast places about 10 minutes away. Pool closed by 9pm (disappointed as we checked in at 8:30pm) and canoes/kayaks not available from hotel as advertised on Expedia--they're for rent at the marina next door. For the value though, an excellent option when visiting Niagara Falls or Buffalo. Only about 15 minutes from the bridge.

Love the view. The hallways are a bit narrow with no elevator,but every room has a nice view over Lake Ontario. I would stay here again. Love the balcony,although it would be nice if they included cleaning the balconies when the room gets done. Lots of bird business and a nest in the corner of our balcony. But over all a good spot. Toilet handle didn’t work properly. But over all,a very nice comfortable place to stay.

Despite being an older type of building, the hotel is in good condition. Recent paints and designs. Well taken care of inside and outside. Our room on second floor seemed/were larger than those of a typical hotel. Everything is clean and spaces have no smells. A large balcony in a room with a view of water and the local marina is a big bonus. I would stay for another night just for it. Nice swimming pool, though it would be better to have a hot tub also. The dining area is beside of Main Desk lobby, so meeting space with low couches and tables is used during breakfasts. May be some separation of space needed and/or modern multifunctional furniture that is convenient for dining as well. The building is a three-story high with the Main Desk on the middle floor. It is a parking level and convenient to use. However, there is no elevator. It seems strange that Ramada can not afford to build one even beside main walls. There are some rooms on the main floor, but for the rest of capable walking individuals, be prepared to carry your luggage using stairs one floor up or down. Overall, I would happily stay here again.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the view of the lake was amazing. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that one of the bed sheets had blood on it. We didn't notice until the kids were going to sleep.

Staff was great, but the hotel itself is really poor quality despite the “renovations”. It is affordable so if you don’t mind staying in a cheap motel quality room then it may be worth it. We paid a non refundable rate and really just needed a place to sleep so we ended up staying the night but I was very tempted to just drive the hour to get home and take the loss. Room smelled STRONGLY of wet dog and sweat…it’s embedded in the walls, furniture and especially in the shower curtain. Sleeping there felt like marinating in the smell and there was no way of showering since the shower itself wreaked. Couldn’t wait to get home and get the smell off. I also found hair on my pillow and the cases themselves had dark stains on them. Overall just really dirty.

The floors hadn’t been swept or washed in the room or bathroom. We had checked in late- so just wanted to go to bed. Next morning the clerk at the desk is complaining that the next person hadn’t shown up to relieve her from the end of her shift- I didn’t need to know that. Unique stay, not over priced at all.. was a great local getaway! Will be returning! The only recommendation I would provide, is to thoroughly clean off the balconies. There was a lot of bird droppings on the balcony and in the sliding door jam.

I read a lot of reviews and was aware of the Resort Fee charge ($18 per day), but I’m still irked by it. I tested a booking on the Wyndham site and the fee was never disclosed. Automatic loss of a star rating. Other than that, it was fine. Room was clean. Breakfast was well stocked (bagels, donuts, muffins, yogurt) if you go early enough. Coffee too. Didn’t try the pool but seemed clean. Location and view was nice. Staff was friendly. Only complaint was paper thin walls. Could hear everything. Walking in the room above, chatting in the hallway. Wasn’t too busy however the night we stayed over. We wanted a cheap option near Niagara for a quick stop on our way to the falls. Worked out well!

Where the hotel is located is very easily accessible and has beautiful views. I was put on the bottom floor and because of the laminate flooring you could hear the people above you walking around like they were in your room. It was very loud. I liked the hotel but if I stayed here again I would definitely be making sure I was on the top floor especially if getting sleep is something you were hoping to get. Besides that the rest of my experience was good. The bed was very comfortable!

I was disappointed in the breakfast that was included. Only fruit coffee and tea. Thought there might be muffins at least! I had to ask front desk where breakfast was, where cream/milk, how get to waterfront and room key didn't work on last day!! Didn't have hot water... Maintenance just told me to run water. Only 1 front desk employee (Silvia) was nice and helpful.

Yikes-a-roni! We were very disappointed in the state of our rooms, lack of cleanliness and timeliness, and lack of helpful service during our stay at the Ramada. There was no indication online that the restaurant would be closed, or that the pool would be closed, or that the rooms would be in the process of being renovated and would be unfinished at the time of our stay. Long story short, we were charged post-renovation prices for rooms and advertised amenities that had not been finished yet. Also, there is no operating elevator, which is not clear from their website. On top of this, our room was not ready until 40 minutes after our check-in time, and both of our rooms were still dirty upon check-in with trash on the floor, crumbs by the bed, hair in the bathroom, etc. The staff was unhelpful, seemed new and not knowledgeable about the property or business, and did not offer any compensation whatsoever for any of the inconveniences we brought to their attention. Apparently the manager was on vacation, so the staff told us they could not help us at all. Eventually we were offered a downgraded room with no monetary compensation if we wanted that, or a discount on a future stay, which is just unacceptable for a cheap motel let alone a higher cost establishment like this one. I would strongly recommend finding another place to stay if you are in the area. I have not been so disappointed or frankly shocked at the state of an operating hotel in quite some time. For refere

Front desk was completely unhelpful. I kept seeing these charges coming on my credit card during my stay when I had only authorized the $150 security deposit and paid for the rest of my stay by debit. Come to find out after departure they double charged me for my room price. They claim I’ll be receiving a refund on my debit but my concern is that I only authorized the security deposit to by credit card and now I’m being charged the full room price.

We were there for 3 nights and not once was our room cleaned, resupplied with toiletries or towels even though we had the door hanger out indicating we wanted service. Asked for an extra pillow and they didn't have any; odd. Clean property, run down a bit, no elevator, nice view and relatively quiet. Extra fees added that don't show in the Expedia price.

Stayed here for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. Our room was comfortable and clean with a beautiful lake view from our balcony. The staff are super welcoming and accommodating and let us check in 4 hours early. Will definitely stay here again!

I stay at this location often as I have family in the area. I love the waterfront location. I have recommended this location to many friends. However, on this visit, I was not properly informed about the daily resort fee. Although it was listed in the fine print of my reservation when I checked in at the hotel, the front desk clerk took my credit card information with the explanation that it would be needed for the deposit Which would be refundable. They did not inform me of the resort fee, which would be added to my invoice. I had prepaid for my three day visitthrough Expedia. It was only a few days later that I discovered I was charged $54 for the resort fee. I spoke to Nick The hotel manager and he refused to offer a refund or any other type of creative solution although he did admit that the front staff had been negligent in not informing me. He continually stated that I had been informed in the fine print of the email. He would not even consider a voucher for a future visit. I believe that all of these extra charges should be clearly outlined at check-in time to avoid this kind of frustration. I will not be staying at this location in the future.

Beautiful waterfront property- all rooms face lake Ontario with balconies or ground level walkouts. Lots of windows and a great indoor pool. Dog friendly as well. Friendly staff Nd close to wineries, outlets and Niagara Falls.

Hotel added on a 15$ fee after hotel booking for “breakfast” which was 5 slices of bread- no juices, no fruit, no muffins nothing else out at 845am. Definitely a budget hotel for a less than budget price.

Absolutely loved the view of the lake. Dining room was great. Bedroom Balcony and patio doorway was very dirty. Easy access from the QEW is a bonus. We would return. Continental Breakfast rates a zero.

Pool was closed due to Reno's. Didn't receive any house keeping for the 5 day stay.... But hotel was clean.. restaurant was closed but the view was gorgeous the staff was great maybe when Reno's done will return

The stay in July 2025. The room was nice and clean with a magnificent view out of the balcony. The only dissappointment for the price paid was the breakfast. The hotel staff was totally unprepared for the breakfast, food was missing, we had to wait for an hour to get something to eat. The number of guests staying for the night is usually not a surprise in the morning, so the quantity of food should be sufficient for everyone. It was extremely embarrassing to be waiting for food while we had paid for it.

This hotel was amazing. So nice inside. Loved the balcony and the view. Wish we had found it sooner on our trip to stay here longer. We will definitely come back. The restaurant attached was fabulous! We had one of our best meals ever here.

Beautiful view of lake Ontario and cute little balcony. Room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. Some fixtures were showing their age/ wear and tear. Despite being next to a major highway, the room was quiet. Breakfast was a sparse continental breakfast with few options for dietary restrictions. Overall, average accommodation, but a hidden gem because of the stunning view.

Have stayed in another room on a previous stay and enjoyed it much better. This room was smaller which was okay, but the bathroom was terrible. There is no counter to place anything on, ie make up bag. There was a rainfall shower, that only reaches about 11 inches off wall and water pressure didn't allow it to fall correctly. Was more like trying to shower in a stream of water and couldn’t get yourself completely immersed. Staff is friendly. Rooms and grounds very clean. Lots of convenient parking. Attached restaurant was very nice.

I have lived here on two occasions, the first one on the lower floor or ground floor was much better, the floors were cleaner. The room was a bit more spacious. The washroom was renovated and more modern on our second stay we found the floor very slippery that I’d even took a video. It was like the floor was oily. My daughter is white so turned completely dark black like she stepped on a mud. And we had to throw that sucker away because it looked disgusting so he started wearing slippers constantly. The washroom reminded me the Soviet era. There was no counter and the washroom door would get stuck when you shut completely because of over painting again, and again on the same paint.

Biggest complaint was WiFi didn’t work 2 out of 3 days we stayed. Older hotel that has some maintenance issues. Had to jiggle toilet handle to stop water running so you could flush toilet. Rooms were good size. Nice view of lake. Right off highway, worried we would hear a lot of road noise but absolutely none heard inside hotel. Staff was as helpful as the could be. Restaurant in hotel closes at 8 and not much close by. Would be helpful if rooms had microwave for guest.
