Parkplätze nur am Schwimmbad etwa 500 Meter entfernt, Abendessen sehr gut aber begrenzte Auswahl und recht teuer. Die Zimmer sind modern und gut.

Great location in the tiny, beautiful village Briñas by the river and a 25 min walk to the train station district in Haro. Great decor, fantastic breakfast and a nice patio by the river for drinks or a bite to eat. They seemed to be understaffed in the restaurant and you had to wait a long time for orders, the 2-3 people who actually worked did everything they could and were very nice and professional. It’s all very newly renovated, however there are a few things that might be a problem in the longer run - eg the shower was leaking, and as it was in the middle of the room it was wet next to thw bed after taking a shower. Very much to recommend for a 2-3 day stay in Haro region.

El lugar está bien, así sin más. Es súper complicado llegar al lugar ya que no tienen medio de transporte de Haro a Briñas y tampoco tiene dónde aparcar. El restaurante no está abierto solo para las horas de los alimentos, pero si te apetece comer algo tipo 13:00 hrs no encontrarás nada ahí y tampoco a sus alrededores. Se hace 30 minutos caminando a las bodegas pero se tiene que tomar en cuenta qué hay que pasar carretera y una brecha para poder acceder. No corresponde precio calidad. Fue una verdadera complicación conseguir taxi para mi regreso del hotel a la estación de tren que está a 10 minutos en coche.

Je suis très déçu par l'hôtel Palacio Tondon. L'hôtel censé être calme au bord d'une rivière était en fait extrêmement bruyant. Dans ma chambre située sous les toits, les bruits d'une fête de village étaient à peine filtrés (en plus des bruits de craquements de la charpente). Je n'ai pas pu dormir avant l'arrêt de la musique entre 4 et 5 heures du matin alors que je n'ai normalement aucun problème pour m'endormir. La réception de l'hôtel n'a rien fait. Il me semble que la moindre des choses aurait été de proposer le remboursement de la nuit ou une nuit gratuite ultérieure. La fonction de base d'un hôtel étant la possibilité de dormir il me semble anormal de considérer normal de payer plus de 200€ pour ne pouvoir dormir qu'après 4 heure du matin. Par ailleurs, bien que visiblement récente, la décoration de la chambre de mauvaise qualité est déjà dégradée (faux bois éclaté probablement suite à la présence d'eau à proximité de la douche). Pas de parking sécurisé. Il faut se garer dans la rue où de fêtards traînent) Le petit-déjeuner est bon.

Loved the location by the river, the cellar and views of the gym. Although the rooms are comfortable and big, the interior design was very incoherent, with multiple types of wood - floor, walls, ceiling. Which made for a very disjointed visual experience. Also the showers need to be sealed better as it was leaking on the wood floors everytime we showered.

Beautiful property close to Haro and many wineries. Great staff service and breakfast. It has a very nice restaurant with a large beautiful outdoor terrace to relax during the day or evening.

The hotel was nice. The room was large and the bed was big and comfortable. The room layout was a bit unusual as the shower is separated from the WC but there was nowhere to hang towels in the shower area. The room facilities were adequate. The location was a bit far from Haro and only transfer was by taxi, which the hotel can arrange but not easily available. The access from the main road to the hotel is a bit restricted as our mini-bus was unable to access the entrance and we had to drag our bags about 100m to the hotel. The breakfast provided was very good, with a wide spread. The restaurant was also very good.

A wonderful hotel in a peaceful setting along the river. A fantastic choice to escape the noise and crowds of tourists in the major cities visited. Hotel is very conveniently located to visit Rioja's best bodegas. Staff are lovely and most helpful in arranging tours. Hotel has one minor deficiency in a curiously noisy plumbing system.

We checked in and when we got to our room it was still messy from the last guess. The receptionist showed us 2 smaller rooms but we decided to wait for them to clean the first room we had. Breakfast was amazing with a good view of the Ebro River and don’t forget to book for a dinner at the restaurant.

Before you book this hotel, bear in mind that the rooms shown in the photos are NOT necessarily will be provided. The so-called luxury river view rooms are not as shown and the river view is not as expansive as we’d expected or hoped. The hotel did nothing but make excuses about it. Furthermore, the air conditioning is not very effective at all and, oddly, controlled from reception. So, if you turn us down, they can turn it right back up again! We found the room incredibly hot (in May, imagine July!!) and we managed to secure a fan. The location is lovely and the hotel is pretty nice but the rooms are standard corporate fodder. There are far nicer places to stay so look around before you decide. The village is beautiful.

Our room (201) was without hot water for the first night and the next morning. No other suite available so we had to walk in our robes down the hall, to the elevator, and down the hall again carrying our toiletries to shower in another room with broken glass (Room 002) for two days. No compensation was offered. The main reason for staying at this location was for the wine tasting cave room that was closed for maintenance. No compensation offered. Dinner was pleasant but only two staff members so service was pleasant extremely slow. No other restaurants in the area.

Purtroppo quando siamo arrivati, dopo 6 ore di viaggio, la persona all accoglienza ci ha detto che nessuno poteva aiutarci con i bagagli, nonostante io ero in gravidanza e avevamo due bambine con noi. Inoltre in una delle due camere prenotate il letto cigolava tantissimo. Impossibile dormire. Abbiamo poi acquistato 3 vini nel wine shop dell’hotel, 2 erano andati a male. Love the location. Excellent service. Drive to all centralize Rioja bodegas. Very quiet and peacefull place. Excellent rooms and soft pillows. Excellent bath and shower. Only a couple of places to eat walking distance but if you have a car excellent choices in Haro at 10 minutes. Would stay here again at any time.

Je suis très déçu par l'hôtel Palacio Tondon. L'hôtel censé être calme au bord d'une rivière était en fait extrêmement bruyant. Dans ma chambre située sous les toits, les bruits d'une fête de village étaient à peine filtrés (en plus des bruits de craquements de la charpente). Je n'ai pas pu dormir avant l'arrêt de la musique entre 4 et 5 heures du matin alors que je n'ai normalement aucun problème pour m'endormir. La réception de l'hôtel n'a rien fait. Il me semble que la moindre des choses aurait été de proposer le remboursement de la nuit ou une nuit gratuite ultérieure. La fonction de base d'un hôtel étant la possibilité de dormir il me semble anormal de considérer normal de payer plus de 200€ pour ne pouvoir dormir qu'après 4 heure du matin. Par ailleurs, bien que visiblement récente, la décoration de la chambre de mauvaise qualité est déjà dégradée (faux bois éclaté probablement suite à la présence d'eau à proximité de la douche). Pas de parking sécurisé. Il faut se garer dans la rue où de fêtards traînent) Le petit-déjeuner est bon.

Hotel is very conveniently located to visit Rioja's best bodegas. Staff are lovely and most helpful in arranging tours. Hotel has one minor deficiency in a curiously noisy plumbing system.

Loved the location by the river, the cellar and views of the gym. Although the rooms are comfortable and big, the interior design was very incoherent, with multiple types of wood - floor, walls, ceiling. Which made for a very disjointed visual experience. Also the showers need to be sealed better as it was leaking on the wood floors everytime we showered.

Before you book this hotel, bear in mind that the rooms shown in the photos are NOT necessarily will be provided. The so-called luxury river view rooms are not as shown and the river view is not as expansive as we’d expected or hoped. The hotel did nothing but make excuses about it. Furthermore, the air conditioning is not very effective at all and, oddly, controlled from reception. So, if you turn us down, they can turn it right back up again! We found the room incredibly hot (in May, imagine July!!) and we managed to secure a fan. The location is lovely and the hotel is pretty nice but the rooms are standard corporate fodder. There are far nicer places to stay so look around before you decide. The village is beautiful.

The hotel was nice. The room was large and the bed was big and comfortable. The room layout was a bit unusual as the shower is separated from the WC but there was nowhere to hang towels in the shower area. The room facilities were adequate. The location was a bit far from Haro and only transfer was by taxi, which the hotel can arrange but not easily available. The access from the main road to the hotel is a bit restricted as our mini-bus was unable to access the entrance and we had to drag our bags about 100m to the hotel. The breakfast provided was very good, with a wide spread. The restaurant was also very good.

Great location in the tiny, beautiful village Briñas by the river and a 25 min walk to the train station district in Haro. Great decor, fantastic breakfast and a nice patio by the river for drinks or a bite to eat. They seemed to be understaffed in the restaurant and you had to wait a long time for orders, the 2-3 people who actually worked did everything they could and were very nice and professional. It’s all very newly renovated, however there are a few things that might be a problem in the longer run - eg the shower was leaking, and as it was in the middle of the room it was wet next to thw bed after taking a shower. Very much to recommend for a 2-3 day stay in Haro region.

Everything was amazing. Service was great. The town is beautiful. The hotel has everything you need and it’s very comfortable, elegant and quaint. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Me gustó en enclave y el entorno....es precioso. No me gustó que yo había hecho una reserva vía expedia con unas características y en el hotel al parecer había recibido otras peticiones por lo que tuve que reclamar para que me dieran el tipo de habitación que yo había solicitado. Lo encuentro muy poco profesional

Our room (201) was without hot water for the first night and the next morning. No other suite available so we had to walk in our robes down the hall, to the elevator, and down the hall again carrying our toiletries to shower in another room with broken glass (Room 002) for two days. No compensation was offered. The main reason for staying at this location was for the wine tasting cave room that was closed for maintenance. No compensation offered. Dinner was pleasant but only two staff members so service was pleasant extremely slow. No other restaurants in the area.

Purtroppo quando siamo arrivati, dopo 6 ore di viaggio, la persona all accoglienza ci ha detto che nessuno poteva aiutarci con i bagagli, nonostante io ero in gravidanza e avevamo due bambine con noi. El hotel me sorprendió positivamente, pues se encuentra en un pueblito muy pequeño y poco desarrollado, pero muy bien. Cerca en el pueblo de Haro hay un poquito más de vida, incluso restaurantes estrella Michelin.

El lugar está bien, así sin más. Es súper complicado llegar al lugar ya que no tienen medio de transporte de Haro a Briñas y tampoco tiene dónde aparcar. El restaurante no está abierto solo para las horas de los alimentos, pero si te apetece comer algo tipo 13:00 hrs no encontrarás nada ahí y tampoco a sus alrededores. Se hace 30 minutos caminando a las bodegas pero se tiene que tomar en cuenta qué hay que pasar carretera y una brecha para poder acceder. No corresponde precio calidad. Fue una verdadera complicación conseguir taxi para mi regreso del hotel a la estación de tren que está a 10 minutos en coche.

The hotel was in a really cute quiet town. Beautiful hotel, my room had a great view of the river. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant's dinner menu was spectacular.

Beautiful property close to Haro and many wineries. Great staff service and breakfast. It has a very nice restaurant with a large beautiful outdoor terrace to relax during the day or evening.

The hotel was nice. The room was large and the bed was big and comfortable. The room layout was a bit unusual as the shower is separated from the WC but there was nowhere to hang towels in the shower area. The room facilities were adequate. The location was a bit far from Haro and only transfer was by taxi, which the hotel can arrange but not easily available. The access from the main road to the hotel is a bit restricted as our mini-bus was unable to access the entrance and we had to drag our bags about 100m to the hotel. The breakfast provided was very good, with a wide spread. The restaurant was also very good.

Our room (201) was without hot water for the first night and the next morning. No other suite available so we had to walk in our robes down the hall, to the elevator, and down the hall again carrying our toiletries to shower in another room with broken glass (Room 002) for two days. No compensation was offered. The main reason for staying at this location was for the wine tasting cave room that was closed for maintenance. No compensation offered. Dinner was pleasant but only two staff members so service was pleasant extremely slow. No other restaurants in the area.

As always if you have special needs regarding food you need to really plan in advance I’m not talking about what you like or not . I’m talking about medical issues . In a hotel like this my expectation is high and it was NOT meet . The staff tried to solve it the best way . The process is not working .

Great hotel on the best location in Rioja. Romantic little town of Brinas has a lovely view to the Ebro River . The breakfast is a big plus

L'hôtel est propre et récent. La chambre est agréable. Les raisons de la faible notation de cet établissement : les prestations ne sont pas à hauteur du tarif , avec des détails qui ne sont pas a la hauteur : pas de savon au niveau du lavabo de la chambre, repas bien trop cher pour la qualité même si c'était relativement bons nous avons attendu 50 minutes pour être servi après réservation alors que seulement 5 tables de 2 personnes, le serveur est peu aimable, debarasse les assiettes avant que l'on ai terminé... Au petit déjeuner pas de réassort alors que le personnel est présent. C'est établissement n'est pas a la hauteur de ses prétentions surtout avec les prestations offertes même si le cadre est agréable il ne vaut pas 300€ la nuit.

Wow! This hotel was beautiful!! In a beautiful location along the river. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Modern and updated. They had a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room. And, dinner was also very good! Right in the middle of wine country. Would 100% recommend this hotel and we wish we could have stayed longer! Staff was awesome!
