Pros: Customer service was awesome, beds and pillows were super comfy, the hotel was right in the middle of everything. Cons: the room wasn't as clean as it could've been, the carpet in the hallway was slipping and old and needs to be replaced, there has been patchwork done in the room we stayed in that was poorly done, the towel we had for the floor has a huge rip in it. You can tell the attention to detail and care for the hotel itself isn't a priority. The phone didn't dial out and constantly had a weird beeping noise. We had to disconnect it so it would stop...

Unfortunately, we were not happy with our stay and our frustration bled over to the next day. We checked in at 6 PM and by 7 PM. We noticed our bedding was dirty and had two stains. We called the front desk talk to them multiple times they offered for housekeeping to come and replace our bedding which we originally said yes to, but it took my husband to go downstairs to confirm that they were going to do that. At some point, they offered free breakfast. We thought that compensation wasn’t enough for us finding our sheets dirty given the fact that we could’ve purchased that same breakfast for $10 on Expedia, which is where we booked the hotel. The manager said that she gave us a call at some point, but while housekeeping was there, they accidentally took the room phone from the room with all the sheets that were dirty. Since the manager was out in the morning and wasn’t going to report to work till about 11 o’clock to 1 PM, I decided to call once I got home. Unfortunately, she said that there wasn’t any other compensation, other than the breakfast and that they couldn’t offer any refund because we decided to stay. The manager wasn’t apologetic for our situation and was condescending. If the situation would’ve been handled in a different way, I could see myself returning, but unfortunately, they lost a customer. I only have the ability for 1500 characters here so I would say more, but Expedia treated us more like a customer than the Westin.

The room was fine, but could use a better cleaning, the lamps on the night stand was dusty and the silver metal rack that held our towels on it was not cleaned well. The view was good just wish it was on a higher floor. The only discrepancy was that our window outside had a lot of spiders on it making the sight an eye soar. Also, some of the staff was not friendly. I'm to understand that if I book through a 3rd party there's no guarantee of me getting my request or preference met. The surrounding area was lovely.

The first room we received after check in was not properly cleaned, and when we requested another room, the concierge stated that the cleaning team had been marking rooms as clean all day with some not actually cleaned. So obviously, this is a repeat issue. And when we saw the cleaning crew in the hallway, after switching rooms, they were in the same spot chatting though a half hour had passed. Well, the room seemed cleaned but the towels where full of animal hair as well as the toilet. I had to request new towels and the comforter was shredded/torn and really should have been replaced. The table was sticky , so I wiped it down with lysol wipes. Overall, I had to reclean the room to my liking.

Several issues that occurred within the first hour of our recent stay We had reserved and prepaid for a room with a king-size bed. However, upon check-in, we were given a room with two smaller beds, which was not what we booked. We returned to the front desk to request the correct room type, and were reassigned, which did have a king bed as requested. Unfortunately, upon settling into this new room, we noticed visible black mold in multiple areas — including above the bathroom door, on the closet, ceiling, and trim near the bed. This was concerning from both a cleanliness and health standpoint, and disappointing given the reputation of the Westin brand. As a result, we had to request yet another room change — making it the second room reassignment in less than an hour of arriving.
