All good but pool and hot tub out of service.

My stay was full of no towels, no wash cloths, a dirty hot tub, a sub par breakfast, walls falling apart and not receiving the 2 queen beds I paid for. Or those were the smallest queen beds I’ve ever slept in! Will not stay here again, only chose here because it was one of the few left that offered an indoor pool. And it was forecast to rain the whole time we were there, so the little ones needed an indoor pool.

Gym was dirty and nobody cleaned during our stay (3 days). One of the treadmill didn’t work. The last day there was no breakfast because the housekeeping were not there.

Pool/spa not available. That's why I booked there. Almost every thing is broken.

I don't usually write reviews for hotels but this one was extra bad. We were first given a room that smelled very bad and they changed our room to another. The pool was closed and it was indoor. The front desk person wasn't there half the time, for checkout, I stood there for 15 mins and no one came out so I just left and called them after. We were asked if we wanted cleaning services and we said yes, the room was cleanes once after many attempts of asking for it for an 8 day trip. Breakfast was probably the worst breakfast ive ever seen with a hotel offering two options for hot food and 2 cereals with the typical bagels and muffins. I'm always a marriott guy but definitely the worst Marriott ive ever visited. Overall, giving 2 stars and that might be generous.

No TV, No Gim, poor breakfast. I blame expedia app for not warning that this property was under renovation. We paid in full for an incomplete service. Expedia or the property must consider some refund

The hotel has damage in the roof of main entrance, the elevator doesn’t work correctly, the hall has cockroaches, the A/C unit is too old and noisy, really bad experience, I stayed just because at that time of the night I didn’t have other option

Air conditioner to lobby has been broken for 2 weeks

There was no indication when booking online that the property was under construction. When we arrived there were dumpsters in front of the property and the building looked like it was falling apart on the outside and no sign that said we’re open, pardon the construction. Then we find out the televisions aren’t working in the entire building. We would have never booked if we would’ve known the conditions.

Indoor Pool area could have cooler, air conditioning was not working, Hotel had a small power outage due to rain, I was told. Technician kept A/C in Room working, pleased . Breakfast had variety to choose, delicious. Hotel offered hot tea in the lobby, nice touch for the evening with our guest. Beds very comfortable.

The room was NOT clean. Condom in th etoilet, glasses so dirty I couldn't use, no soap in bathroom, various 'stains' on sofa and desk. So not worthy of the Marriott brand.

While the staff was very friendly, the room was not clean.

Rooms smelled like an dirty locker room. Stains everywhere. Mold in the shower. No hot water.

The rooms they give us on the first night were not cleaned. The mattress is a mess and dirty towels are on the bathroom floor. I requested for a different room and gave us a broken door/lock. Went twice to the front desk to change the key and finally asked him to come with us and give me to show that the door won’t open. We were transferred to another room and it was worst. The beds were not done and all the pillows were on the floor. So we asked the front desk to check the rooms first before transferring us to another one since we have all our luggages with us while he was transferring us to the other two different rooms. Until finally he found a room that was ready for use. Also, the food was not great compared to comfort suites. They only have a few selections for breakfast and doesn’t taste good either. Will not book here anymore. We deserved a refund and transferred but that wasn’t possible for them that made us stay. Good thing only for one more night. But will never again book here. Regardless of their reason with the change of management, expect the worst here.

Needs renovation. Burn holes in carpet, mold smell.

The room was a bit musty and clearly had some humidity control issues. There were signs of water damage on the ceiling, and some of the texture was peeling away from the drywall. Shower was not particularly clean, and there was no shampoo or body wash available in the refillable containers on the wall. Bed was comfortable, no bed bugs, breakfast was serviceable.

The bedsheets were dirty. There were stains in the ceiling. The suite looked rundown.

The hotel was unfortunately in very poor condition, not at all like what the pictures looked like. The sofa in the room had a bunch of stains on it, like it was dusty and hadn't been vacuumed. The shower had black mold in it, and the shower curtain was torn.

From the outside the hotel didn’t look all that great. The room was mostly clean and spacious so that made up for it. Although there was visible handprints throughout the room, not sure if those were from past guests or housekeeping. The breakfast was the bare minimum, bacon, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, and toast. It didn’t seem as if anyone was attending the breakfast area to upkeep and refill the food, so no bacon available.

It was perfect because of the way it was set up with a small living room area with a tv and couch and then also with a bedroom area with a tv. Beds were really comfortable, room was clean with more than enough room. The hotel was clean overall and staff was really nice!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The elevator is a bit clunky. Room cleaning was "every other day" and they didn't replace my towels, so I had to go ask the front desk. The accommodations were very roomy.

The room was poorly lit, the ceilings were stained and peeling. Carpet in the hallways was ripped in several places. AC worked poorly. I would not book here again.

The location is nice and convenient right next to the highway. Parking lot is small so didn’t have ti worry too much about security. I really liked our room, 1 king with sofa bed, but the layout is weird where the tv is right in the middle so I had to move it so I can watch from the bed. Only complaints was the bath tub was kinda dirty and the kitchen area could’ve been cleaner (coffee bad was still in the coffee maker) so should’ve had better attention to cleaning. Breakfast was meh. Not alot of options. Barely any fridge items and only one waffle maker can be used. Front desk people were very nice and helpful.

The positives: friendly staff, nice room and very clean. The negatives: our room was on first floor facing the parking lot. We had so much light from the parking lot coming around the curtain that it was difficult to sleep. There is also a lot of road noise as the hotel is located very close to a highway. There also was no hot water- showering was miserable.

Hotel was below average, room was alright but TV didn't work, toilet was clogging. Also breakfast was very limited, that great at all. Had to go buy breakfast outside the hotel.

Had room next to elevator, yet we heard no noise at all.

Everything was great, but a big disappointment was that our TV did not work. The on-duty manager tried himself but did not succeed. He did offer us another room, but we were tired and unpacked already, so we declined.

I was there 4 nights, and there was no housekeeping at all. Even when I requested someone to come clean the bathroom because the water from the shower was everywhere, no one came to do it. No clean sheets or towels were provided. Bed was not made. I was very disappointed on the room itself and the lack of service

The toilet broke and overflowed on our first night. They brought me a plunger and some towels. I could not get it fixed so no functioning toilet all night. They called at midnight looking for the plunger. They were supposed to come at 830 with maintenance to fix the toilet. 945, still hadn’t heard a word so I asked the desk. They said they didn’t want to disturb us early. Um…we didn’t have a functioning toilet so we were up and about early. Then, it took them another 4 hours to clean the bathroom. They did not have any available rooms to move us to. They did nothing to compensate me. Expedia gave me $25 in one key credit. Definitely not a great experience.

I booked room for five people, arrived on Christmas day, had three towels in the room, came down to ask more, was told you run out of bath towels. On the second day came down for breakfast, was told the service staff had family emergency, so breakfast was canceled, i was surprised to hear a Marriot hotel does not have a backup plan. On the third day, no housekeeping service( on the first day we were asked if we want service, which we said yes, since we are traveling with kids), so we went down asked front desk, the gentleman told us, the lady who checked us in was new, so she did not put the request in, but he will make sure we get a full service the next day, which we did not get again, on top of that, our towels was not replaced too. We use to work for marriott hotel, so we had stayed at multiple Marriott brands but never had this kind of experience. It was very disappointing. We will definitely not stay at this property again

We checked in and were given a room with wet carpet. The carpet had just been shampooed and had not had a chance to dry. I requested a room change and so they moved me from the first floor to the second floor to a room that also had wet carpet. I went back to the manager and requested another room change. He told me that it would be dry in 30 minutes and I told him I would like a room that had dry carpet now, not in 30 minutes. They accommodated me and I finally got settled in. It’s good to know that they shampoo the carpet regularly, but I was a little offended that they just expected me to slosh around my room on wet carpet. It soaked right through my socks when I took off my shoes so there was no way I could make that work!

The hotel was convenient to the location I needed to be for this trip. Easy access to the loop around Houston makes it quick to get where you want to go. The front desk was always pleasant greeting us not only at check-in, but as we passed through the lobby in our way in and out of the hotel during our stay.

Despite the recent bad reviews, I had no complaints with my stay at this hotel. The key to my room stopped working after the first night, but the staff reprogrammed it and we were on our way. The room was clean and pleasant. The only two small nitpicks I would have is that the breakfast options are slightly limited and the lobby smells like a swimming pool. Considering the pool is near the lobby, this isn’t something that is largely in their control. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

Ran at the front desk was phenomenal. He was so attentive and remembered details about our stay that just went above and beyond.

Close to everything

Pretty good place to spend a few nights, close to dtwn and area doesn't seem like a bad place to stay.

Our room was clean :-) The hallways and elevators did need a cleaning. The building looks/is more updated on the interior than it appears outside. We did not partake in the free breakfast so cannot speak to that. There is moderate traffic noise.

Stayed 3 nights and was very happy with my hotel experience. Room was clean and spacious and gym was nice as well. Breakfast could have had more variety but overall solid hotel stay.

We checked in at 10pm, got to the room and the thermostat was on 80. No problem, turned it down and went to bed. Woke up at 2am and were hot. Temperature in the room had not changed - still at 80 in spite of setting being at 72. Did not feel like asking anyone at that time to try to fix it or move us so just lumped it until the next morning. When we told the front desk about it the clerk said that the new rooms are set up so that if no movement is detected the a/c goes back to the higher temps. We point out the obvious that when sleeping we don't move around much and the clerk, rather indignantly stated that we should have held the three buttons down on the thermostat to stop the auto adjust feature. There was nothing on the thermostat to indicate this (and in fact, there were four buttons on the thermostat so which to push anyway?) and no one at the front desk told us about this at check-in. It is bad enough that the a/c does not work in a room that you pay $190 bucks for but the attitude of the clerk just made it worse. We should have insisted on a reduction in our charge but did feel like arguing about it. In addition to the a/c and attitude, the complimentary breakfast was poor at best. Cold eggs and cold hash browns sounds tasty doesn't it?. It is too bad - otherwise it is a pretty nice place. No way it is worth the $190 though. We would definitely recommend looking and staying somewhere else.
