The lake side access and gazebo were the highlights for us at this hotel. We grabbed our drinks and enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake. Hotel was clean and room was spacious. I was concerned the bed would be too soft as it was a pillow top style but provided enough support to have a good sleep. It had a cute English style pub in it and a very nice outdoor pool. Note: this hotel does not have an elevator so people with mobility difficulties be sure to get ground level. The staff were also very pleasant.

Sadly, the outdoor areas of this property are in disrepair. I chose to stay at the property because the pictures on the internet were lovely, but they must have been taken years ago when this property was freshly remodeled. During our stay in June, the tennis courts were locked up and had seen better days. In the pictures online, they look beautiful, and we were disappointed not to be able to hit some balls. We were told that they will be renovated soon. The beach area was unkempt and uninviting. The gazebo and beach patio areas need a fresh coat of paint, and there are no chairs to sit on. The pool was filled with dirty debris so we stayed away. We were very disappointed with the rundown property. However, the staff was friendly and WONDERFUL!! They helped with our room dilemma, and our room was nice and clean! :) Thank you.

This place seems to be going downhill in cleanliness. Ive always stayed here when i travel for work, had issues 4 stays in a row with dirty room and was told 3rd time Manager would contact me which never happened. Jim at front desk gas always been excellent but will probably stat somehwere else next trip. Clean your jet tub before you get in it so you dont end up on antibiotics for 2 weeks like me.

Ive stay here many times, one of my favorite places to stay while im working. The past 3 months its been nothing shy of problems, mold in showers, dirty jacuzzis. I got a really bad infection from one of their jacuzzis 2 months ago and have been cleaning them myself before i get in ever since. Was told the manager would contact me after last chalk mold shower stay, never heard a word. Just did a 2 night stay in which the second night i paid $180 for a basic room. Had to add bleach and tabs for an hour before i felt comfortable entering the tub. Very gross. I know Jim at front desk is getting tired of the issues i encounter seeing as how i stay so often. I usually get the deluxe rooms and first time getting basic room. Seems this place is going downhill in cleanliness.my cats stay in my car when not freezing because only dog friendly. Manager Chris you have my number, something is not right. Might consider staying somewhere else from now on.

The room wasnt up to par for the prices some ceiling lights didnt work their were dead bugs in the up stairs jacuzzi and all over the window ledge the fire place broke 2min after turning it on the fridge has mildew in it and queen bed sheets had rips in them not whay youd expect paying near 500$ for a room for 1 night

This is the second time Ive stay and had a shower with heavy mold in the bottom of the shower. Room 108 and 105. I love staying here when im working in the area but find this very gross and highly disappointing considering how dangerous mold is. Staff at front desk very good as usual.

The hotel building itself was nice. Nice lobby, halls and room. Room 310 has a small porch that overlooked the pool and highway. Highway noise when slider was open. No elevator, had to carry bags up to 3rd fl. Very thin walls. Room next door had a jacuzzi tub. It sounded like we were in the same room with the couple next door as they enjoyed their jacuzzi. Our tub did not drain properly, so it filled with water as we showered. Shower temperature was difficult to regulate. It was either too hot or too cold with just the slightest move of the knob. The lake area was looking tired. The deck needs paint. The restaurant was very good. We had a nice meal and dessert in the pub with excellent service.

Lovely Victorian style hotel on Lake Thomas. No elevator, the receptionist at the desk helped me carry the luggage to the third floor. We had a balcony. The only problem with the room was a shortage of outlets to charge our electronics and and we would have referred more artificial light in our room.

The Inn on the Lake is a beautiful property right on the water. Our room had a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and a little deck. The hotel is old, but well mantained and that is part of its charm. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didnt dine here so not sure about that part. But would definitely recommend.

This place is so close to being awesome. It was the rustic feel of the Dirty Dancing resort. But it needs a little more. More than anything though it needs a cultural change. There was no meaningful management on site and all the staff just acted like dogs that had been beat too much. None knew the first thing about the property, the area, the menu, or customer service. Or at least they acted like they didn't know and didn't care. And then there were some really odd things. Like, lots of hotels put a small room fee hold on the credit card. As part of the excruciatingly long 'we need to see your id' check in process we were told that they were putting money on our card and we wouldn't get it back unless we came at checkout and specifically asked for the charge to be reversed. And they were kind of jerks about it.

This was an absolutely horrible experience! A staff member used their keycard to open the door to our room long after we'd already settled into it, barging in on me unannounced when I was only1/2 dressed, stating he didn't know the room was in use - another woman was also assigned the room! After this complete invasion of privacy, I went to make myself tea only to discover the cups in the room were dirty, filled with coffee residue and stacked together. When both of these events were mentioned to front staff, they said that was unfortunate and that was it. And finally, the $100 deposit was not cleared from my account, so I was charged $100 extra for no reason and with no notice that I would be charged this! Yes, on 1st glance the room looked nice and the pool seemed clean, but considering the lack of privacy, respect, or cleanliness I would strongly recommend no one ever visit this hotel!

A staff member used their keycard to open the door to our room long after we'd already settled into it, barging in on me unannounced when I was only1/2 dressed, stating he didn't know the room was in use - another woman was also assigned the room! After this complete invasion of privacy, I went to make myself tea only to discover the cups in the room were dirty, filled with coffee residue and stacked together. When both of these events were mentioned to front staff, they said that was unfortunate and that was it. And finally, the $100 deposit was not cleared from my account, so I was charged $100 extra for no reason and with no notice that I would be charged this! Yes, on 1st glance the room looked nice and the pool seemed clean, but considering the lack of privacy, respect, or cleanliness I would strongly recommend no one ever visit this hotel!

I contacted the Inn in advance to make sure no issues when my wife and her two friends checked in as I booked the Inn for them. The receptionist told me that it was ok because it was prepaid. When my wife arrived with her friends she was given a hard time by a not so friendly different lady working the desk. The person that first spoke to me on the phone was also present at the time of check in and was confirming she told me everything was ok. If it’s “policy” to fill out forms in advance as the Second Lady claims then, the lady answering the phone should have communicated that and been aware of that policy herself to avoid my wife given a hard time at check in. The second older lady was not friendly and had a terrible attitude. This was suppose to be a fun Xmas celebration and night away from kids which my wife never gets. We will never stay at this Inn again. Very disappointed.

Hotel is tired and in need of updating. Air conditioning was not working when I checked in and not repaired until the night before I left. I was told I could move but decided I would deal with it. Housekeeping did make up the bed each day, empty trash but I was provided a frayed towel one day. Probably the worst situation was when I arrived back to my room on the day of the air conditioning repair to find the door ajar. I do not know if it was the housekeeping or maintenance staff that left it open. Each of the front desk staff individuals did try to help. The first night the "bellman" did try to get the air started. I did appreciate the "quiet hours" after 11 PM as my neighbors were quite loud. Just a tough stay. Also I am curious as to how long it will take to refund the deposit.

When we arrived the receptionist was surly not helpful. Insisted I’d only booked and paid for 1 room when I’d booked and paid for 2. No apology other than the name was spelt incorrectly. Didn’t explain about restaurant times and what was on offer very disappointing

Beautiful property, but needs a little work. Great staff but horrible check in, so slow. Not the staffs fault, just the system they use. Oliver’s restaurant in the hotel was excellent, a must if you like good food. Great area and many conveniences and great food nearby. Great place too if you have a dog.

The Inn is located on a nice lake. Its close to the airport but in a nice quiet area. The restaurant and bar food is a little pricey compared to other places, but the food and atmosphere are very nice. The room we were in is in the old part of the hotel, so a little worn but nice and quiet. The only drawback is all the stairs to navigate with suitcases, but thats how it goes with an older building.

We stayed at this property twice in Sept., mid month for two nights and month end for one night. The location is perfect for access to the airport. Staff were helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant food and service. Our room was clean, quiet, and warm.. We had some concern that we would be too close to the highway but there was no highway noise in our rooms. Very pleasant looking out on the lake. The A/C was nice.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the amazing staff. However we had no vehicle and had to cab or uber since no busses run nearby. Because if the location if the inn, there is not much room to walk safely on the side of a very busy highway.

Clean room, staff were very friendly and helpful, the grounds were very pretty my husband and I enjoyed our stay there. Unfortunately the restaurant/pub was not open which was a bit disappointing as we were looking forward to just chilling at the hotel instead of driving to another restaurant elsewhere as we had been travelling all day! Other than that it was a great stay and we would definitely come back

I booked this for my Anniversary. I checked several places to dine in the area, but we wanted to stay in. Door Dashed him a pizza and called to order room service - after 3 call backs from the front desk, I was advised I couldn't order room service as they were too busy and understaffed. My husbands food arrived and I legit had nothing for supper on my anniversary. I ate a cheese plate I picked up for the drive. It absolutely ruined the evening - we had to go find the liquor store to get drinks, because we couldn't order room service. How about tending to your guests and prioritize them over outside diners. I doubt we will be back!

We were there towards the end of September when the tourist season is winding down. Consequently, during 3 nights we were there, the bar was closed 2 days and restaurant once for breakfast and once at dinner due to staffing issues. Furnishings are well used.

The staff at Inn on the lake truly made our stay memorable. They will friendly, helpful, kind and considerate of our needs. While the room was clean, the entire facility is outdated. I don’t particularly mind that on the outside as it’s quaint and dainty but the inside could definetely use some love. The rooms often felt muggy and moist. The cute little pub offers some very cool old English vibes and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, I would stay again.

The receptionist was friendly. The room was large but had too much furniture. The bathroom was ok but the shower was small and had would around the base of the door. The best thing about our room was the patio outside our rear door that allowed us to sit out there and relax. The worst thing about the room was the smell. It smelled very strongly of someone's dank basement. If you decide ti stay here, do not let them give everyone you a room downstairs.

The only thing I missed (as an older person) was a hand railing to help ease into and out of the pool! Breakfast in the the hotel restaurant is a must for the cheerful service and the best Eggs Benny ever (note: not open Mon & Tues.)
