Beds were comfortable, shower adequate, location quiet. Breakfast was adequate too. But the pool was black!! Despite claim that the guy was going to fix it the evening we arrived nothing changed in 3 days. Closed and off limits. Beyond the inconvenience it was a creepy eyesore.

Ice machine dirty and out of order swimming pool dirty and out of order blow dryer not working in the room they use strong smelling chemicals to clean with and I was allergic to them fabulous it smells like. Will not ever stay again sorry very run down

There was a strong, unpleasant odor in the room that was transferred to my clothes - everything I'd hung up had to be washed when I got home to get rid of that smell. The pool was closed. Breakfast was very good, though.

I’m very upset because we attempted to stay at this hotel on Fourth of July and use the swimming pool there and when we got there, they said that they close the pool down for the day and the pool was disgusting and green. Today we still have not got our refund or heard from anybody from that hotel. I’ve made all the phone calls I can make. I’m not sure what to do now. I guess I’m going to have to go to small claims court over $100, because I’m not gonna let it go.

Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and staff was nice. Laundry facilities were a mess with broken appliances being repaired and trash all over the place. As we tried to finish laundry and load our belongings into the vehicle the housekeeping was rushing us out so they could clean and we didn’t get all of our things out because of the chaos.

Pool was out of service. Floor had a hole in it that you could injure yourself. Put clothes on it to avoid it. Toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. Could use a good maintenance man!

Staff was friendly and provided what we needed when requested. However, we killed baby cockroaches in our room each night even though there was no food kept in our room, and the pool was out of order for over a month according to the front desk staff, and that was a feature listed on the website and one of the primary reasons we chose this hotel. We were extremely disappointed and will never stay there again.

Floor in room was filthy as was the baseboards. Cigarette holes in linens. Very limited tv channels. Ice machine is a hit or miss as far as it functioning. Bugs come out in the evenings through the night. Will not go back and dont waste your time with reserving.

The lady at the desk was nice. I had to swap rooms because the fridge didnt work an roach in the tub. 2nd room had a working fridge an no roaches but there was feces on the bathroom door. Stains on the blanket.

Hotel room has a slight odor. Sheets and lampshade had bad stains. There was dead bugs present. They offered a second room and it was the same way. I refused and asked for a full refund. They said I’d only be refunded one night. As of 10/21/25 I’m still waiting for my refund

The room was nasty. It was covered in cockroaches. They didn't even try to clean the room. The mirrors had something on them. The walls looked really bad. The walls had dried up stuff on them and idk what it was. The white bedding had stains. Dried up pee on the walls by the toilet. Urine ring stains in the toilet. Towels had a weird smell. I went and asked for different towels and they said they would have to see if they had more. We had to clean the room with bleach and all the stains came out. The wipes I used to clean the floor was black. The refrigerator had soda spill all over it. I seen the housekeeper with her 2 young kids and they were helping cleaning the rooms. The breakfast was terrible only had eggs and sausage links and bread and I wouldn't eat it with all the bugs. The housekeeper was knocking on doors early in the morning the next day asking for towels. It was horrible but we were out of town for a sporting event so we didn't know if we could find another room.

The staff I encountered was super friendly. The facility, however, was old and extremely dirty. The room desperately needed to be cleaned! There was dirt/blood/boogers on the walls. Lots of outdoor bugs were in room because there is no seal around door.

Good overall location for business I had to conduct. Fairly poor internet connection. Condition was poor. Central locations like sitting area and dining area were OK, but the room was terrible. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave, which were helpful, but there was broken and damaged furniture, poor condition of interior finishes, the room was smelly, had a cockroach. Staff were fine for checking in and out, and asking a small favor, but the facility entrance was closed by 9 p.m., so had to conduct business standing outside through a glass window; room cleaning staff only changed towels, didn't take out garbage except once in 3 days, refresh room coffee, make bed, etc. Very limited breakfast was the same every day, pancake maker was broken first day with no signage of condition. OK for a day or two, but not for more.

Room was cramped probably because it was a handicapped room with large open bathroom/shower. Had to move 1 bed over because it was blocking AC flow to room. Both beds were very noisy, squeaking/groaning every time you moved & not comfortable at all. Crack in front window & door locks did not seem to be very secure. Had to kill multiple flies & crickets upon entering room - Garbage overflowing in can just outside of room probably contributing to fly issue. Would definitely not recommend & would never stay here again!!

Room I checked in the tv did not work and it too over an hour to get some help because he forgot. Couldn't get it to work so we changed rooms but the room I got was smelly so we changed to another room that was smelly as well. He said that the smell would go away after the AC unit ran awhile but the AC unit didn't work properly so instead of switching to yet another room, I just stuffed it out. Would not stay there again.

The room still had a faint smell of musty cigarettes and every time I left the room people where outside smoking. I was awaken by people standing outside my room talking around 2AM. The only upside was that it was pet friendly.

The air conditioner didn't put out any cold air. Service was great moving us to a different room but sinks in both rooms took an hour to drain from lack of plumbing cleaning with hair buildup. Was really disappointed with the total experience. Won't consider this brand name on any of our trips in the future

From the simple things like lamp shades and clothes hangers broken, very load air conditioning units to disregard of maintenance of bathrooms and poorly fitting doors. The digital TV would only tune 3 stations with all others extremely pixilated or just freezing on an image. The property needs a serious remodeling to be able to justify the cost per night.

Amanda is the most welcoming and respectful hotel staff I've encountered in all my travels across the country. I would definitely recommend this hotel compared to others in the Muscle Shoals area. She's always accommodating and makes sure guests are well taken care of when they stay at her hotel. 10/10

In a great location, close to everything, probably the reason this place stays in business. It's not worthy of being labeled a Wyndham property. When I got there, there was a super sketchy guy just sitting in a desk chair in front of a room. I checked in the attendant was nice but i was required to go get my tag number from my vehicle to write down. When i first got into my room, the night stand was sticky & had cup rings on it where drinks from a previous guest had sat. Obviously this hadn't been cleaned. I found tobacco pieces from a blunt shell (obviously) all over a chair. How does housekeeping not notice this? I found several hairs on towels, washcloths & bed sheets. Something bit me during the night. I woke up with 3 unidentified bug bites this morning. The air conditioning was very cold, but also very loud. Thankfully it didnt keep me awake all night. The pool was old but clean, the bed was actually very comfortable. Best thing I can say about the place. Back to housekeeping, I had one of the staff knocking on my door at 8am. I didn't answer, so she let herself in. Are you kidding me? That was a complete invasion of privacy. Check out is at 11am. It was 8am. I didn't try or even see the breakfast. I just wanted to get the hell out of there at that point. A refund would be appreciated but I'm sure that won't happen. I would not stay here again ever nor do I recommend anyone to. Find a place that's $20 more I'm sure it will be well worth it. This dump was almost $100

This hotel is just bad. On one good note, we loved the pancake maker! There were only two towels in the room when we arrived and management would not give any more. We left our towels hanging on rack to preserve them. The next day housekeeping took the towels and did not clean or empty the trash in the room. When I asked for replacement towels the management stated that they would not provide any towels. Some of our family was already in the bath when we realized that the towels were missing. I can understand not having extra towels, but taking the existing towels in the room is just crazy. Even the bath mat was taken. The management provided no resources to the employees to close down other rooms or have access to the towel storage. While I was addressing my complaint to the front desk another guest came to the front desk asking for more towels and stating that he had towels in the morning but they were no longer in his room that evening. So they had done this to multiple rooms and management did not take any responsibility for the incident and provided no accommodation for an issue that they aggressively created. I am not a fan of this poor level of hospitality.

I booked the room for my aunt. She gets there and receptionist says there’s not a reservation for her! Her son was about to have open heart surgery and we didn’t need this! The AC was broken once dude finds her reservation and was rude to me.

Very clean and for the price, it's a remarkable place to stay. The staff was overwhelmingly nice. It was quiet and I felt safe. The location is perfect and you feel secure in that area of Florence. My only recommendation would be if, within the budget, upgrade the eggs to scrambled and have a waffle/pancake machine that works. But fir the price of the room, I still give ya'll a 5 star rating. My overall stay was very enjoyable!

I arrived in the freezing cold, and they would not let me in the check in area inside, rather they made me stand outside and yell through a glass at the attendant. The young man, who appeared to be high school age would not answer questions. He just had his back to me typing on the computer. When I got in the room, the floor was dirty and gritty when I walked in. The next morning there was a coffee pot in the room, but no coffee and when I tried to have breakfast, the coffee machine and the pancake machine were both out of order. Basically, this is one of the WORST motels I have ever stayed at. I wouldn't recommend it with even one star!

Good little blue collar inn. Out of town contractors, and discount room seekers. No frills, a little shabby, but the room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Appears a little sketchy outside, but it is a motor lodge- had no problem with other guests at all. Pool was green. Free breakfast was all you need to fill a hole, the folks that managed the inn and the employees were all very nice and accommodating. Definitely worth the price! We would stay there for under a $100 a night any time! We stayed three nights.

In a great location, close to everything, probably the reason this place stays in business. It's not worthy of being labeled a Wyndham property. When I got there, there was a super sketchy guy just sitting in a desk chair in front of a room. I checked in the attendant was nice but i was required to go get my tag number from my vehicle to write down. When i first got into my room, the night stand was sticky & had cup rings on it where drinks from a previous guest had sat. Obviously this hadn't been cleaned. I found tobacco pieces from a blunt shell (obviously) all over a chair. How does housekeeping not notice this? I found several hairs on towels, washcloths & bed sheets. Something bit me during the night. I woke up with 3 unidentified bug bites this morning. The air conditioning was very cold, but also very loud. Thankfully it didnt keep me awake all night. The pool was old but clean, the bed was actually very comfortable. Best thing I can say about the place. Back to housekeeping, I had one of the staff knocking on my door at 8am. We were in town for a music festival at McFarland Park; great location to the park. The area has every food option imaginable. We did online check-in that was fast and easy. Our keys were ready when we got there and front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was "clean enough", and overall the room was "good enough". The bed was rough and needs to be replaced. The springs creaked every time we moved and it was lumpy. The a/c worked great. We did not eat breakfast or use the pool. Overall, our stay was fine and we would stay here again for a quick trip.

We didn't even stay the night because the room was dirty, there was someone else's hair all over the tub, the room smelled off, there were stains everywhere on the walls, and there were LOTS of shady characters walking around shirtless outside. And unfortunately, by the time we checked in, housekeeping was already gone, so there was nothing to be done about the issues. Thankfully, a friend in town had an extra room at a different hotel.

Place didn’t look like the pictures posted. There was no hot breakfast except a pancake machine. When I asked where all the food was they told me that every time the workers come in early and eat it all. Ok fine, then supply more food for the people who come in after 7 am. Ridiculous!

The room was nasty. It was covered in cockroaches. They didn't even try to clean the room. The mirrors had something on them. The walls looked really bad. The walls had dried up stuff on them and idk what it was. The white bedding had stains. Dried up pee on the walls by the toilet. Urine ring stains in the toilet. Towels had a weird smell. I went and asked for different towels and they said they would have to see if they had more. We had to clean the room with bleach and all the stains came out. The wipes I used to clean the floor was black. The refrigerator had soda spill all over it. I seen the housekeeper with her 2 young kids and they were helping cleaning the rooms. The breakfast was terrible only had eggs and sausage links and bread and I wouldn't eat it with all the bugs. The housekeeper was knocking on doors early in the morning the next day asking for towels. It was horrible but we were out of town for a sporting event so we didn't know if we could find another room.

It was a decent stay, the maid came early, and I informed her to return in 40mins. But she never turndown our room. Ice machine only on one floor. Overall, I would rate this as a 3.5 out of 5. Breakfast was good.

Rooms tired and not the cleanest. The fridge also was very noisy and had to be unplugged overnight. It was a little dirty the entrance door inside the room was dirty. Everything else was good. AC worked well. Plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable, Pillows were cheap and flat. Good value for the price. Would definitely stay there again if needed.

The only problem we had is that the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. There was no shower curtain liner. The hotel was also kind of stingy with towels. If we needed more, we had to turn in the ones we had used. They were all soaked by the time we got ready to leave because we had to use them to clean up the floor after every shower.
