Debbie is as sweet as they come. She goes above and beyond to help. BUT Room 138 had a flooded bathroom and holes burned in the bedding. Moved to 139. The room is horrible. There was no hot water at all. Poor Debbie had to work a double because no one came to relieve her. She was so tired this morning, she fell asleep and didn't get coffee going. This is no way to run a motel.

I've never had a bad stay with Motel 6 - until this one in Elk City. The A/C leaked water onto the floor which was already so filthy that I was afraid to go barefoot. After killing the fourth roach, I went online to book a room at a motel across the street (Super 8) and left Motel 6 after only a few hours of being in the room.

Booked a non smoking room but could still smell smoke either from next door or halls. Walls are thin and could hear and literally feel the bumps from wall against our bed. There’s a sign in the lobby that says no refunds or else I would’ve stayed somewhere else, good thing it was a one night stay.

This poor old hotel needs shut down. It’s worn out, several rooms padlocked from the outside. I can only imagine how bad they must be inside. Our curtains were missing so many fasteners missing there were 6 inch gaps on each side. I kid you not, there were clothes bands aids covering the holes in the side of the bath tub.

The hotel is dated but my room was clean with A/C, tv that worked and a very good hot shower! The stairway area definitely needed cleaning. Parking lot in and out areas could have the pot holes fixed (they are rather large). It was a great location for my business and excellent price!

This was by far the nastiest hotel i have ever seen. The whole place smelled like smoke. And there were alot of tweakers staying here. I had to leave as soon as i checked in. Because i knew 100% my car would get broken into. The bed had a bunch of weird stains on it. It was disgusting. I cant believe a hotel like this is in business.

this hotel was a VERY dirty experience. The blankets and sheets were disgusting and very worrisome to sleep on. The WHOLE hotel smelled like cigarettes when it’s supposedly a “no smoke zone” 1/10 experience would definitely not recommend.

Usually, if I don't have something nice to say, I wont. This will be one of my few exceptions. Starting at the lobby, the desk clerk was pretty friendly when first checking in. There is a large "NO REFUNDS" sign at check-in. The lobby smelled of a mix of humidity and cigarettes... place needs to be urgently aired out. The first room I got was absolutely filthy. The beds had hair on them, the sheets were dirty and stained. The restroom was even worse. I asked the desk clerk for a new room. The second room was better but not by much. The beds were also covered in hair, the sheets were stained, and sheets had cigarette burns. The restroom was also extremely filthy. Luckily, I always carry lysol wipes and tried to make the most out of the situation... It seemed like the room had not been cleaned in MONTHS!!! It was so gross!!! I requested clean sheets, and apparently, it was a hard feat to accomplish, filled with annoyance and sarcasm. My husband and friend made the beds with the clean sheets and we called it a night. This was the worst hotel/motel stay ever. I want a refund so bad. As for the manager, you're welcome. We left the room cleaner than when we arrived.

-phone didn’t work - Ice machine didn’t work - VERY loud people next to me banging on walls, slamming doors, yelling, dogs continuously barking ALL night through my check out time. Management couldn’t control the situation I would have got better rest had I pulled over and slept in my car. Very crappy motel. Very.

There was a guest that had a dog that barked the owner tossed a toy/ball til 12 am. so dog was running across wood floor sliding into wall and furniture . Rude as hell. You do that outdoors not indoors . No problem with a dog just very large when running after an object and not being able to stop on wood floors!!!! It was so annoying. Could not even enjoy watching TV program. Not to mention relaxing away from home. is hard enough not being able to sleep away from home.

This is an older motel. for the price, it was adequate for a 1 night's stay. Room was clean. Bed average for Motel 6. There were stains on the bedspread, but ssheets were clean. Quiet, Great water pressure in the shower - probably the best thing going after a long day's drive from Cuba, NM. Would stay again.

Words can not describe what happened. Arrived at 10:15PM. Employee affront door smoking . He could not get computer started, could not find reservations (had redeemed free night ).Suggested I pay him at a "discounted rate". I refused, then he questioned if I was at correct hotel, had correct date on reservation. I Had to provide printed copy. He then called someone. On my printed copy, he was so high, could not located check in date, or actually Motel 6 name ! This went on for 20 minutes ! He was so messed up, confused my State drivers license ID for a hotel room key !. Finally he let me check in after 25 minutes of his antics. Told him I was tired, been driving for over 13 hours . Now the room : numerous dead cockroaches, human blood on table leg, trash still in can from previous guest. Had I not been so beat tired , would have left.This employee should be discharged . This is the worse experience I've ever had at a Motel6 , or a reservation with Hotels.Com ! Have pictures to back up my allegations . Will file a complaint with Motel6 corporate and Hotels.Com , as I'm a gold member. Do NOT STAY at this place in ELK CITY OK.

-phone didn’t work - Ice machine didn’t work - VERY loud people next to me banging on walls, slamming doors, yelling, dogs continuously barking ALL night through my check out time. Management couldn’t control the situation I would have got better rest had I pulled over and slept in my car. Very crappy motel. Very.

Very happy we chose to stay here. Traveling on motorcycles, front desk lest us park them by front window so they could keep an eye on them. I’m insulin dependent. The person that checked us in assisted on getting my ice packs froze again. Plus had one that fit my cooler well and donated it to me. Everyone here has been really nice. They’re trying to keep the old building in good condition. The sheets and towels were clean.

I was prepared to give a decent review before the hotel charged me twice for a room i already paid for. Then when someone from Hotels.com called them they lied about my check-in. They said i never gave my name which i did, even gave her my license. They claimed they didnt get paid for the room even though i had proof. The clerk that checked me in gave me a room with someone else already in it, then sent me to the room that the other guest was supposed to have. I will never stay there again and i will tell anyone asking not to stay there.

We broke down about 20 miles from this town. We were hot and tired and so sad. Debbie and her crew made everything perfect. I cannot rave enough about her and the rest of the folks at this motel. The room is a better one for Motel 6. Not perfect, but I love that I can bring my Chihuahua's. I am so thankful for these people. I will definitely stay here in the future

Usually, if I don't have something nice to say, I wont. This will be one of my few exceptions. Starting at the lobby, the desk clerk was pretty friendly when first checking in. There is a large "NO REFUNDS" sign at check-in. The lobby smelled of a mix of humidity and cigarettes... place needs to be urgently aired out. The first room I got was absolutely filthy. The beds had hair on them, the sheets were dirty and stained. The restroom was even worse. I asked the desk clerk for a new room. The second room was better but not by much. Luckily, I always carry lysol wipes and tried to make the most out of the situation... It seemed like the room had not been cleaned in MONTHS!!! It was so gross!!! I requested clean sheets, and apparently, it was a hard feat to accomplish, filled with annoyance and sarcasm. My husband and friend made the beds with the clean sheets and we called it a night. This was the worst hotel/motel stay ever. I want a refund so bad. As for the manager, you're welcome. We left the room cleaner than when we arrived.

The first thing we saw in our room was Burns in the bedspread. The "white" wash rags in our room were a tannish brown. I went to the desk for cleaner ones, and the clerk went to the laundry for us. She could only find 1, so we went to Dollar General and bought new wash cloths and bleach for the tub. We stayed out until bedtime. When we got back to the room, there was a new wet spot on one of the beds. Thankfully it was on the bed our luggage was on, and the drip missed our bags. Elk City, OK was and AWESOME little town, and we enjoyed our one night in town.

This is an older motel. for the price, it was adequate for a 1 night's stay. Room was clean. Bed average for Motel 6. There were stains on the bedspread, but ssheets were clean. Quiet, Great water pressure in the shower - probably the best thing going after a long day's drive from Cuba, NM. Would stay again.

The hotel is dated but my room was clean with A/C, tv that worked and a very good hot shower! The stairway area definitely needed cleaning. Parking lot in and out areas could have the pot holes fixed (they are rather large). It was a great location for my business and excellent price!

Their 24/7 front desk availability is just a paper sign with a phone number, which we called and couldn't get an answer for. While calling, we saw a roach crawl through their main lobby and then noticed another one that had already been squished. As we were leaving, two more roaches came in through the door frame. Needless to say, we didn't stay and wouldn't have even if they had actually answered the phone to come check us in.
