Nice small, clean, cosy hotel, characterful but modern, ideal for visiting Blenheim Palace area. Parking off road at front. Room spotless, has everything you want. Delightful cafe style eaterie avail for choice of breakfast and light snack lunches 8am - 5pm only. Staff very helpful and friendly. Altogether a great place to stay.

As much as it was a nice thing, I didn't require my bed being made towels folded ect. The self contained kitchen was a great plus for me, very pleased. Some elements of the room were looking a bit tied bathroom floor for example, not a issue for me personally though. Generally I was very pleased with the room and I would definitely stay again.

An ideal place for a short break. The breakfast room/cafe was lovely and food freshly prepared with great choice. It’s also ideally placed for the railway station and Bladon/Bleinhem/Woodstock. The kitchenette was a bonus.

Property looked well presented, but we stayed in Room 12 which was a self contained flat. The bathroom had consistent stale smoke/cooking fat/ burning toast smell as it seems that it may have shared an extraction fan with the kitchen. In the morning this became more pleasant when actual cooking was occurring. In addition the smoking area was right outside the door, which led to cigarette smoke penetrating the room - upon later inspection an air brick for the room was next to where an ashtray bucket had been placed. A shame really as the night promised much, and the staff were really friendly.

Fabulous location, a few mins walk from the train station. It's a traditional modern hotel, my room was cosy, comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay here, it's about 20 min walk to the nearest shop, and not to far from Blenheim palace, which was the main reason for my stay. The little cafe style area is available for breakfast which was lovely and served with a smile, looked like you could buy lunch, drinks and cakes lunchtime but I didn't use this part. But this area shuts so during late afternoon, early evening there is no communal area to use. There is a small outside area to the side of the building, sun trap during later afternoon which I used, but with no other customers and no where to buy a drink from. Seemed a shame to not optimise this, but I guess it's a staffing issue. I would use this hotel again if I was in the area.

Pleasant stay nice comfortable room executive suite, good location very close to Blenheim Palace and 20 min to Oxford city. Situated next to industrial estate off a main road. Train station 5 min walk away takes you to Oxford in 10 mins. If you stay Tuesday night then you get woken up at 6 am by the industrial bin lorry making a right din. Breakfast fair with a good selection off the menu. Would stay again for the location.

Overall the experience was good, we only stayed for the one night, so we didn’t fully utilise the apartment. Two wine glasses would have been advantageous and the coffee shop if opened on a Sunday we would have used. Otherwise a very comfortable nights sleep.

Absolutely stunning place to stay in a beautiful setting . My partner and I came for a little trip down memory lane for me . And really glad he stumbled on the place . Outstanding service from Anita , she was so lovely and friendly and the rooms were so clean and beautifully decorated . She showed us other rooms too as we most definitely want to come back . Blenheim palace is a beautiful walk to get too from across the road which Anita informed us of . There's a great pub a very short away called the George and dragon which served a lovely lunch . If wish to stay in Oxfordshire you simply must check this place out 😊

Really nice place, nice rooms very quiet and parking! Short walk to Hanborough Train Station for frequent trains (10 minutes on train) into Oxford!
