Lovely hilltop setting with castle, gorgeous old-world bedrrom suite, delicious and well-presented food/restaurant for dinner and amazing breakfast set up..very confiryable beds, views everywhere..loved every detail!

Beautiful property, scenic. Although it wasn’t clear that we could not go into the castle at all unless we signed up for a tour and there were no tours available until after we checked out the next day.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during mid-June and the pool filter was broken such that the pool was unusable during our entire stay. For a remote place with limited amenities in the immediate area this was very limiting and certainly detracted from the experience that it should have been. The staff was gracious and did compensate by providing us a free spa usage which was a welcome experience. In addition, the meals we had during our stay at the facility were excellent.

We loved the tranquility of the area and the lovely staff. It was cold and very bad weather, but the room was warm ! We got a room upgrade, also! So nothing but good about this place!
