Amazing location close to everything Amsterdam has to offer, only thing I would suggest would be a small bar fridge in each room but it wasn’t a big deal because there are so so many options for food nearby and supermarket is less than 5 mins walking distance. The hotel had the most welcoming and friendly staff, the rooms are compact but with a great use of the space, it’s quite an impressive design. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip :)

Very good location. 10-15 walk from Amsterdam Centraal. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a full length mirror in the bedroom. There was a coffee machine that served various types of coffees like lattes etc and fresh croissants every morning. This was a nice and much appreciated offer. The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The only thing I didn't like was that noise travelled and I could hear some guests in the corridor and opening and closing their doors. To note, there is an elevator but it's very tiny and there are stairs to go down as soon as you enter.

It was a lovely quiet area but close to everything like central station shops and tourist attractions. The hotel was small but big enough for a what we needed and beds was very comfy and bedding was clean and the room was acceptable. Theres a small lift so u dnt have to walk all the stairs. And there was tea/coffee making facilities in the basement area for u to help ur self. And the reception desk staff was very helpful and polite. Thanks for the stay.

Ho alloggiato qui con mio fratello per tre giorni e devo dire il personale gentilissimo e cordiale, ottima posizione si raggiunge il centro in pochi minuti a piedi e nei d’intorni dell’hotel è pieno di negozi e servizi. Nota molto negativa la pulizia. Siamo entrati in camera e la moquette completamente macchiata e appiccicosa, il letto con le lenzuola e coperte macchiate di non si sa cosa. Nel bagno stessa sorte agli asciugamani, macchiati e sporchi. Mi dispiace lasciare questa recensione ma non mi sembrano norme igieniche adatte per un hotel

The filthiest room I have ever stayed in. Carpets are filthy, a mat covered the entrance to the toilet and underneath it was absolutely disgusting. Rat droppings found on the floor. The bathroom had clearly not been cleaned for i dont know how long. I had to go to Albert Heijn to buy detergent wipes and marigolds to clean so I could have a shower. The owners should be ashamed to rent out this room and to allow a beautiful building to fall into such filth. The receptionists were pleasant and thats the only positive for this place. AVOID THIS PLACE!

AMS中央駅からほど近く立地は良い。 シングルルームだったがタオルの不備が何回があったり、ベッドが腰掛けたら傾く感じで安定せず、使いづらかった。ベッドメーキングも雑で髪の毛が落ちていたり整っていなかったので毎日自分で直した。部屋の掃除をお願いしてもゴミも捨てて貰えなかった。シャワーの場所に扉はないのでトイレが水びたしになる為ビーチサンダルを持参して正解だった。

My initial impression of this hotel was that it was shabby, but after a day there, I realized that it was a victim of it's design. A converted house, the room I had was extremely small and cramped, but that seems to be the way Amsterdam houses are designed. The location of the hotel (just outside of the insanity of the core) more than made up for any issues with the property. The main street that it is located adjacent to, has restaurants, shopping and almost anything else you're looking for. The only real negative about this hotel was that the bedspread was badly stained and the bed itself had a bend to it such that sitting on the edge of the bed was impossible without sliding to the floor. Having said all this, it's very much worth the price to stay here, just don't expect too much. It's also worth mentioning that it was a 15 minute walk to the train station, which was very convenient.

Centralt och nära till allt. Allt var bra men lite väl litet handfat. Duschen har ingen egen dörr så hela toaletten blir blöt. Renligheten i badrummet/toalett var inte så bra.

Stayed in a basic double. I knew it would be on the smaller side based on floor area and use to that from the other old City center European hotels I stayed in, but this one really feels like a shoe box. Main complaint is they advertise a queen bed, but was given a 48" large twin, which was very tight to sleep two people. Not the cleaners bedding.

The property is less than 10 minutes walk from the central station (direct train from the airport). it is very convenient to get to the central part of Amsterdam. The room is very narrow and small with no partition between the bed and toilet/shower room.

Staff was wonderful and helpful; room was clean; location was amazing - just a few minutes walking distance from the central train station and most of the central city area. Room was tiny. Really tiny. Bathroom was even smaller. But for one person and for a couple of days, the tradeoff for location was worth it.

The room was tiny, the elevator was even smaller. We had to do 4 trips to get our luggage up. The shower drain wouldn't go down so we had to turn off and on the shower so it wouldn't over flow.

Fabulous location. At the end of the street is a canall, dining options and the area has a great vibe. Lots of streets to explore and close to the Dam Square for walking tours. Not far from Anne Frank's house and Centraal Station. A great hotel and location to start my trip in Holland. Mitti (I think thats right) on the,Reception desk was exceptional. After a 30 hour flight from Australia he was so helpful and welcoming. Thank you City View - a great stay.
Fabulous location. At the end of the street is a canall, dining options and the area has a great vibe. Lots of streets to explore and close to the Dam Square for walking tours. Not far from Anne Frank's house and Centraal Station. A great hotel and location to start my trip in Holland. Mitti (I think thats right) on the,Reception desk was exceptional. After a 30 hour flight from Australia he was so helpful and welcoming. Thank you City View - a great stay.

Anne was an exceptional staff member who has great knowledge of Amsterdam She knew many places to explore and how to get there with ease. I would stay there again. The location from Amsterdam Central is the best, a 5 minute walk. The hotel is on a nice quaint street where you can sit on a bench with morning coffe and watch the boats go by on the canal I sat there often

Overall a very good stay. I initially booked the single room, which I found small. But Mito at the front desk was very kind and upgraded me to a double room; which was much better. Great staff !

Scammed me out of a huge sum by refusing to correct a booking error on a "fully refundable" full-price reservation. First refused to deal with me on the phone, saying to go through Expedia. Then refused to talk to Expedia on the phone, saying they had to e-mail. Then didn\'t respond to Expedia\'s e-mail, refused to make a manager available to speak to either me or Expedia. Left me totally hosed with a reservation I couldn\'t use and couldn\'t cancel.

Staff allowed us to check in early as the room was ready which was a great help. Close to the centre and most places are accessible by walking. Great staff, room was a small double. Only thing we didn’t love was that the toilet doors was very see through which didn’t give much privacy, other than that good for a short stay! Thank tou

Pros - takes 7mins walk from Amsterdam central Station - very central -food and coffee shops on the door step -lovely canal and bench at the end of street - lovely scenery - 24hr coffee machine -fresh croissants in the morning The staff were nice there wasn’t much interaction between us but there didn’t need to be. Cityview is just over 5 mins walk from Amsterdam Centraal station, so suited me perfectly. Charming area of small cobbled streets and beautiful canals everywhere. Loads of bridges so easy to get around. Cityview hotel is a little gem - friendly, helpful staff, very quiet area at night. My room was small - as expected for solo traveller - but very efficiently designed so had everything i needed. All very clean, and a lift very close. There are 4 steps at the entrance door, but reception staff happy to carry a case over the steps.

Amazing location close to everything Amsterdam has to offer, only thing I would suggest would be a small bar fridge in each room but it wasn’t a big deal because there are so so many options for food nearby and supermarket is less than 5 mins walking distance. The hotel had the most welcoming and friendly staff, the rooms are compact but with a great use of the space, it’s quite an impressive design. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip :)

It was a lovely quiet area but close to everything like central station shops and tourist attractions. The hotel was small but big enough for a what we needed and beds was very comfy and bedding was clean and the room was acceptable. Theres a small lift so u dnt have to walk all the stairs. And there was tea/coffee making facilities in the basement area for u to help ur self. And the reception desk staff was very helpful and polite. Thanks for the stay.

They advertised rooftop, that was not a rooftop. Bed is hard, they advertised pillow top, non of that was there. 2 sad hard pillows, the blanket is thin and bad. All of it is sad. But the breakfast was nice and the staff were very nice and professional. Just the facilities could use a makeover

Hotel is in a good location. Noisy area but rooms were ok from that perspective. Floor (hardwood) looked clean but could do with a mop. Lots of dust in ventilation in bathroom and around the AC unit so room could do with a proper cleaning. Bedsheets very clean though. Tiny room to the point where it's only marginally better than a pod hotel. There is a "desk" but so small that it's not even useful to put your carry-on luggage on. Wifi was spotty and not working for about half the stay. When I told reception they confirmed there was a problem and that a technician would come later that day and wifi was fixed when I got back to the hotel in the evening.
