Breakfast was great, so I’ll start with the positives! Unfortunately that’s where the highlights end. It’s a cheap-ish hotel so I wasn’t expecting any kind of five star experience, but it is very run down and shabby throughout. I arrived late after an event in Birmingham, bar area was already closed at 10.30pm so zero food or drinks available, not even a vending machine. The receptionist was kind enough, and suggested using Just Eat but after realising it was a £10 delivery fee I ruled that out pretty quickly! Popped back to reception after checking into my room to find it in darkness and not a soul around. One decaf teabag in my room had to do! Bathroom smelled mouldy and was badly in need of renovation, bed was lumpy and the room was pretty chilly. I won’t be rushing back.

The hotel is in a great location between Bristol & Gloucester on A38. The 4 poster bed isn't like the photos, it has posts but no curtains around it. The room was lovely & spacious, very quiet. The staff were all friendly and a good choice of food at Breakfast. The food in the restaurant/bar is a little steep so we ate a big breakfast then ate out during the day/evening.

Spent one night in the hotel and it was perfect for our needs. Our room was large enough and perfectly clean. It is a little dated, but nothing to get upset about. A little annoying that the windows can only be opened a very small way, so it may be hot in the middle of summer. Staff were super friendly. Solid wifi throughout. Ample off street parking available. Breakfast was fine and the onsite Marco Pierre restaurant was very nice too.

Stayed here twice now, decent hotel for the price. Staff were very helpful and polite. 5 out of 5 for them. Room was tidy but I would say the bed was not the most comfortable on this occasion. However overall, happy for the price paid.
