Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands

Hotel con muchos servicios pero esteticamente antiguo. Lo complicado es llegar no esta muy bien indicado. Y como hay otros hoteles antes te confundes. Buen servicio y comida. Habitacion sin aireacondicionado solo ventilador. Por la noche refresca. Puedes ir caminando al centro.

Booked two rooms and found out that one side can be hotter and the other side cool depending on direction of sun. No AC units to cools the hot side, Also extra surprise charges were requested upon check in and in addition Expedia choice of breakfast included does mean that and was a place where breakfast was chargeable.

今回、このホテルには3泊しました。20年前から今まで数回訪れている。 毎回、のんびりとさせて貰っている。 朝の食事はテラスで、昼はタナラタの街のホーカーセンターで現地の味を楽しんでいる。 旧館は建物は古いがメンテナンスはされており、清掃も行き届いている。 今回、はホテルからタナラタの街まで、1日数回無料のシャトルバスが用意されていた。 一応時間は決まっているが、多少の融通は聴いてくれる。 行きは下り坂で良いのだが、帰りの上り坂は苦痛になった歳には助かる。 バスタブに熱いお湯を溜めてゆっくりできるので疲れもとれる。 部屋のテレビはNHKは映るが日本の民法は映らない。

This hotel needs renovating & some new staff. Our first room had a lot of ants so we were moved to a room that had fewer ants. Service was not available in the lounge areas, the bar was closed & the "fitness centre" was just a few treadmills. Most of the staff were rude, particularly to my wife. Only one woman at the front desk was pleasant.

Location is not too bad, up in the hill with a short walk from the main street, shuttle bus is provided frequently. Breakfast is ok, I would say slightly above average. The room is a bit old and antique, well it is a Heritage hotel isn't it! I do find that the reception collect a deposit of RM$100 is meaningless, they will just return back to you anyway, and the refund process for my case took close to 10min, apparently the reception can't locate my deposit with my RM$100 bill. (Yes they found it somewhere)

- No real welcome when we got there to check in - No gym as advertised. Machines mostly broken except for 2 exercise bikes and 1 cross trainer. This does not constitute a gym. When I flagged it with the reception I was told it would be fixed that evening; which it wasn’t, then the following day was told it would be done then which it wasn’t. I explained to the reception that we booked that hotel specifically as it had a gym and were unhappy with the situation and just got blank stares. - Plates of food left in corridor for 24 hours plus; I believe this hotel is wildly understaffed - Place was just in generally poor condition. Needs some investment soon or I don’t think it will be around for long with the ongoing development in the area.

まず部屋のメンテナンスが悪く汚れが目立ってる。特にバスルームはシャワーの水の出が悪い。朝食の品数内容が良くない。

Das Hotel ist sehr groß und hat toller Blick auf die Berge. Das Personal ist sehr nett und kooperativ. Vor Ort ist eine Waschmaschine mit Trockner. gerne wieder.

seamless check in; comfortable room; bathroom was spacious but shower speed can be improved. However, carpeting need replacement; breakfast items need major upgrade.

2泊でしたが風呂のトラブルが発生で水が部屋まで来て､また水の色がサビ色で使用出来ず４回も部屋を移動しましたー。今後は利用したくありません。

I don’t want to say this but the experience I had I don’t want anyone else to have so here it goes. It was awful- ruined my entire trip to the point I had to cut it short. The hotel is filthy. Our first room’s bathroom had black mold. I contacted the front desk and Expedia- they first said they would clean it and no one came. Then after a long time finally I contacted them again and they said that they would offer another room. The other two rooms we saw were also not great and one of the other ones also had black mold so I went with the one that seemed ok. At night we noticed the headboard which had a layer of dirt. The pillows smelled like wet dog and we couldn’t handle it. Then to top it off it felt really eerie so we kept one of the lights on but were kind of scared, then went to sleep. In the morning we decided that there was no way for us to continue and cut the whole trip short as these issues were too much for us and we really didn’t want to keep changing rooms or hotels as we had a lot of luggage. Just beware- some of the staff is nice and some is just not. Hassle to try to talk them into refunding anything as I had paid for 3 days and Expedia said it was up to the hotel.

The accommodation looks like a building what used to be a great hotel back in the days. The rooms are spacious and there is free breakfast included with freshly made omelet. However the carpet is full of spots, the bathroom full of molt and little insects. The hotel experienced a few power interruptions during our stay. The location is on walking distance of the city center with nice restaurants for a good diner.

The cleanses was a big issue upon arrival. There was a supper long golden hair on the bedsheets covered up by the blanket. The cups didn't look like being washed? Servicing was good, could make changes accordingly. Tks

It seemed that the cleaners did not clean the room and did not use the clean bedding. Upon our complain room was cleaned thoroughly next day

The hotel room is clean & wide

Booked 4 rooms and they were not clean with doors and many cupboards damaged. Towels not very clean. Rooms also got many insects. Tap without proper cap resulting in water spraying instead of flowing down when turned on.

Our room was dirty and in poor condition, we paid for an upgrade and the new room had a wet smelly carpet. Finally we got a room that was acceptable. Hotel is tired and needs work doing to it. The breakfast wasn’t very good and unfortunately we would not return to this hotel.

Looks a bit old and dated. Some places in the room were dusty. It has a big room.

The room was dirty and uncomfortable. We upgraded and the 1st room had a wet carpet and smelled. Finally, we got a satisfactory room. The breakfast was poor and kept running out of food. The staff were very helpful.

The room simply massive and it was so relaxing just sitting in the balcony enjoying the wonderful view. The only problem we had was the television being too loud and we could not adjust the volume of the sound and the cover for the handset of the tv conrol was missing. We informed the front desk but they did not do anything about it. We had not attempted to turn the tv on again. The food in the restaurant not good. We had wonderful Tandoori chicken meals down in a restaurant in he village. We were able to buy fruits from the fruit stalls next to the car park which is on the way to the hotel up the hill.

Hotel muy grande. Las habitaciones muy viejas y descuidadas.

Noisy - all voices from reception echoed upstairs to my room. Rooms are very dated and bathrooms grimy. Window in my room didn’t shut properly as latch was broken. Rubbish all round the grounds. Staff were very pleasant.

Oveall nice property with a garden and nice views, large room, lovely view from the balcony, short walk to Tanah Rata but we rather enjoyed that it and walked twice back and forth each day. Breakfast is average and can be improved, and there's a musty smell in the room possibly due to moist furniture that some reviews already mention that the hotel should fix.

The room needs so much restauration!!!!

Ich gebe der Unterkunft 4 Sterne aufgrubf des sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personals und das wir auf Anfrage ein Upgrade erhalten haben. Dir Zimmer in der vorab gebuchten Zimmerkategorie Superior sind leider absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß und müssen renoviert werden. Es gab viele Mängel, die nicht hinnehmbar sind. Ansonsten ist das Hotel gut. Frühstück sehr umfangreich. Lage auf einer Anhöhe mit schönen Ausblick und sie anfangs beschrieben das Personal. Vielen Dank an alle. Ihr habt den Aufenthalt gerettet 😍

Das Heritage ist noch ein Hotel der alten Schule mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Service. Zimmerservice und Frühstück waren von guter Qualität und es gibt viel Platz und Services im Hotel, sogar eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Einzig die Aktualität der Ausstattung und Zustand der Möbel ist für uns Anlass zur Kritik.

Das Hotel ist sehr groß und hat toller Blick auf die Berge. Das Personal ist sehr nett und kooperativ. Vor Ort ist eine Waschmaschine mit Trockner. gerne wieder.

Great location, Best service and comfortable room

We booked the room with a kid and we paid additional guest charge as well. But then hotel insists to pay for extra towel and bottle. Theyeven said I need to pay for breakfast for the kid. Eventually after having a discussion with the staff and management they made an exception. This is something that they need to have the clarity

Very nice older hotel. Service and breakfast very good. Only annoying thing was the need to log into Wifi couple of times a day. I would return.

Très vieillot, fuite d’eau dans la salle de bain donc sol toujours mouillé, emplacement peu pratique pour profiter à pied du centre ville, restaurant mediocre.

朝食はバイキング料理であるがメニューが少なく味付けも良くなく大変不満です。
