Room was clean and well presented, didnt have breakfast so cannot comment. Staff friendly and informative, used swimming pool and sauna, spa well worth it. Its mainly for golf which makes it very busy. I will definitely stay again although i dont golf

It had everything ie great food, good standards, room was a good size, pool well kept, but for the price it lacked the high end detail.

The property’s rooms are a little dated however spacious and comfortable. They have good entertainment at the bar and a nice pool.

A great stay after a busy day to return for a swim steam room and sauna, then visit the restaurant for a well placed evening meal. Lovely and quiet area.

Hotel was a little tired. Basic things like towel rail & toilet roll holder missing from room Jacuzzi had problem with chlorine way too high but not taken out of service... dangerous Food was excellent but restaurant service in the evening very slow. Staff pleasant but needed some training in how to wait on tables correctly

Swimming for the wife , golf for me . Great stay

Very comfortable well maintained modern style building with pool, spa and golf course. Bathrooms newly done with large shower, rooms functional but comfortable, plenty of parking. Reception staff friendly and well populated. Night porter on duty for very late arrivals. Did not get to use pool, but looked inviting and was being used. We did not have breakfast in our stay.

Clean and comfortable property.

We stayed in the flat, lots of updating needed, cobwebs off light shades, tea and coffee basket falling apart, sofa was very grim! I’m sure the rest of the rooms must have been better as hotel looked busy. Staff lovely, pool facilities great, food was very good, we ate in the bar area and breakfast in the morning, good value.

The bathroom smelt of sewage until we had showers this appeared to remove the smell. Room 11a clearly has a problem with drainage, the smell returned all evening.

Was so looking forward to our stay unfortunately we were very disappointed. Walking to the room obviously been a flood the corridor smelt like curdled milk. On entering our room it smelt sour and old. The room itself was large bathroom very dated shower door needed a really good clean to get the black mould off it. The breakfast was lovely in a nice big restaurant. Seemed all the money goes into the golf club house and not the accommodation. Such a shame

The hotel is in lovely surroundings. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again.

Our room wasn’t clean, there was a few glasses in the room and the floor wasn’t clean, I end up with a cut with my feet because I didn’t see the glass. We try to find a staff but we couldn’t. The breakfast definitely not worth £25 at all. It was absolutely disgusting, cold and not many to pick. Staffs knew we both are deaf but still talk behide our back without realising. There are no deaf awareness at all. We was so desperate to leave soon as possible. We brought our baby with us and never again.

Outside areas and golf course attractive, friendly gardener clearly taking pride in his work. Reasonable rates for driving range. Inside is like stepping back in time, however it’s clear to see current renovation efforts. Bar the friendly gardener, staff lacked customer service. One hopes to be greeted with a smile and warm welcome, whether it’s the first or last check-in, which albeit I had already done online, just a key needed and just a key was given. Upon check-in our room door was still open with dirty bedsheets on the floor ready for laundry. Bins had not been emptied, previous occupants towels in the bathroom. Toilet has not been cleaned and a used wet flannel still hung in the shower. This was rectified promptly after a quick visit to ‘welcoming’ reception. Shower gel marks on shower still remained. We felt fortunate to be allocated a room with a newly refurbished bathroom, the shower was hot and powerful and plenty of towels provided for a family of three, however no bathroom rail to hang them or toilet roll holder or additional rolls. Bed linen all appeared clean bar the decorative throw which had stains on. T.v remote was covered in sticky substance 😣 Room temp at night was hotter than a thousand suns, two fans were provided. £150 without breakfast felt hefty but all in all the swimming pool and outdoor facilities and a nice sandwich at the bar made it enjoyable.

It was fine for what we paid, but the walls are paper thin, the hotel feels quite tired and bashed around. Good that it's got a pool though; it's perfectly fine for a one night stay as long as you don't have a noisy neighbour nearby.

Easy check-in, large comfortable bed, good walk-in shower. Surprised that there were no designated blue badge parking spaces. Both bedroom and bathroom could do with shelves or hooks for coats, towels, etc. Our upstairs neighbours made a lot of noise moving around, even during the night

The WI-FI signal in the bedroom was dreadful, as staying for work purposes, this was critical, I couldn't use my own phone data as the phone signal was also poor. Stay at this hotel regularly and find it perfect for me. But felt disappointed this time due to this.

Liked the modernised shower room

I was there for 3 nights and i could hear the people in the next room clear as a bell. I could hear their TV as if it was in my room. The wifi was so weak that my laptop wouldnt connect so i couldn't do any paper work in the evening. The TV was so small I could hardly see it.

Terrible WiFi signal. Really old rooms and facilities. Stains all over and spiders throughout. Changed room to get better WiFi signal and the room was quite noisy and couldn't get enough sleep and in the end the WiFi was non-existent. No mobile signal either.The TV is really small. The staff was ok. The bathroom was impeccable and the there was always fresh coffee provided every morning and a kettle in the room.

Very tired old hotel, Wi-Fi is poor the TV in my room was no bigger than an IPad. Food was not good sent back twice for not being hot enough.

The hotel in itself was pleasant, but I booked a double bed, which was even confirmed by the receptionist. Upon entering my room it had two small single beds. Sleeping in a single bed at 6ft 1 isn’t ideal and that coupled with an extremely warm room resulted in an awful nights sleep, so won’t be returning next time I’m in the area.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The welcome at reception was friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and well maintained given the hotels age, the bathroom looked as though it had been recently refurbished with a large walk in shower and modern toilet. The organisation and service at the evening reception we attended was exceptional, plenty of staff serving and constantly clearing.

Only 2 of our 3 night stay here after the behaviour of hotel guests. Fighting, smashing glass and doors till early hours. No assistance from front desk when contacted to control this. My 9 year daughter now never wants to stay in a hotel after this experience. Bitterly disappointed by the handling of our complaint by this hotel. Unless you’re a chav best stay away

It was perfect, very very clean, lovely comfy bed, fan, hairdryer. Very modern bathroom. ALL the staff were lovely and friendly, Beautiful restaurant with stunning views.

Loved our stay we met up with our family and had a very comfortable stay. Staff were really friendly and accommodating and finished our stay with a lovely morning in the pool area. Thanks will stay again!!

Property was noisy in general, however we had arguing neighbours next to us fighting. Kept us up all night, Had to be moved at 3am to another room. Night manager was as helpful as he could be

Over charged for the wedding event, was refused any refund. The fire alarm had dgone off 3 times in the same night scaring the childre, at 3.30am having to find a member of staff to explain what was going on because no reassurance from staff. Rooms not ready on arrival and the food for the wedding was disgraceful. Most was inedible so called a takeaway in. The kids food came cold, bones left in chicken. The hotel was noisy, overly hot, no air con, the fan was useless, the shower was cold.

Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food was lovely from the bar.

Great location for visiting Norwich. Good welcome. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable. Food in restaurant was very good as was the service. Great breakfast! Additional plus of two golf courses!

Country durroundings

It was a lovely venue to stay. Convenient for the city of Norwich and the town of Fakenham, where we were headed. We couldn't understand why there were no hooks for the hand towels, no toilet roll holder or beakers in the bathroom.

Nice hotel, ( if a little out of the way very narrow lane to get to it) Nice pool, nice breakfasts overlooking the golf course We were in room 31 next to a fire door which double banged every time anybody came in or out ( have Tod reception so hopefully they do something about it

This is a golf course with a hotel attached to it. It is modern in public areas, needs TLC in bedroom and other areas. Quiet, peaceful and pretty in its setting. Where it’s located is convenient for transport links to/from airport and Norwich centre.

Convenient location for us to visit friends and family. Have stayed there before, can be noisy at times throughout the year but it is a golf club and people are the to enjoy themselves. Has no lift to 1st floor.

Very quiet place

Staff are excellent, the grounds are beautiful. The hotel is being decorated and is a 1990 building. Breakfast was good and the evening menu had a good choice at reasonable prices.

Nice convenient location for weekend break with pool and gym factories very welcome. Picturesque setting with golf course, and friendly restaurant staff made for a nice stay. Not far from Great Yarmouth for beach stroll, and also from Norwich city centre for evenings out

Hotel room was perfect for a family very comfy beds and pillows, shower was a delight felt like i was getting a massage. Swimming pool was nice but changing rooms and toilets needed cleaning very dirty and run down. Food was very dissapointing and restaurant washy even open on the Tuesday night so had to find somewhere to eat. Breakfast was poor 13.95 for a full english and left a lot to desire for portion size and taste. Had some cheesy chips for lunch that were undercooked and tasteless. Really need to work on their food son has a contiental breakfast which had two different cereals and 1 tray of stale croissants for 8.95 Overall i would give it a three needs updated and modernising and food needs a complete overhaul

My room had a small window that let in very little light. The whole place is very dated. Other than the shower room it doesn’t seem to have been updated since it opened. Shame really as it could be a very nice place The restaurant was closed so only bar food available. £20 for a nasty burger and chips!

Room was suitable and clean. Shower had excellent pressure. Food was well below what we would have expected. It was an organised function with 180 people attending and a Christmas dinner. Potatoes were reheated and cold, vegetables were ok but sparse for the table of 8 and turkey was also cold and dry. Christmas pudding was quite poor quality, but the option of the cheesecake, apparently was great, but for £60 each, it was very disappointing. The best part of the food was the tiny mince pies with the coffee. I wouldn't stay again unless we ate away from the establishment.

Fabulous views and staff excellent service. The only one issue was the wait for meals in the restaurant after ordering, but still very good
