Great hotel with friendly service, great food and hired pod was very novel, cosy and fun. We were 2 adults with 2 adult sons and had a really enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend.

Hotel is very clean with rooms decorated beautifully. Stayed 2 nights, one in hotel and one in the Stables and both room very nicely kept. Lovely beer garden with table service and staff very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel, fantastic service, great selection of food. Room really comfortable. The beer garden was amazing and i love the buzzer each table had when you wanted to order more drinks or food. Definitely worth a stop

Had to ask for food discount which was VIP benefit at checkout. Room upgrade was a grubby room with a dirty stained carpet, window in bathroom caked in gutter mess, webs & nests. Blinds didn't work in bedroom or bathroom. Main outer entrance was dirty with cigarette ends & rubish.

We stayed at the Stirrups Hotel for one night when visiting Legoland. The hotel was clean and well presented and the staff were friendly and looked after us at breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Lovely hotel , easy and welcome check in , room was lovely and cosy looking . Little activity packs on the bed for the children . Which was a lovely touch . Things that could have been better - toilet seat was broken , the plug for the bath was broken (however this was replaced straight away when my husband went down to say) the hair dryer wasn’t great and made a screeching noise when used on high setting … but was quite late on after being at Lapland Uk , so didn’t want to go down and report it after reporting the plug issue .

We received a warm welcome on arrival. Our rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped including a comfortable bed and great shower. All staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant twice, both meals were excellent. I cannot think of anything negative to say and I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

There is almost no storage or closet space for clothes in the room. The rooms are very small but we had to live out of our suitcases which is not a great thing. Also, no dressers for small items and no room safe for valuables. The bathroom was adequate.

Staff and amenities were great. The only issue we had was one of our windows didn't seal properly and wind whistled all night and most the night couldn't sleep so that was disappointing.

We were very impressed by the family room. It’s difficult to get rooms for a family of 5 but our room had a large king size bed plus 3 single size beds. The room was huge! The colouring packs on the kids bed were a lovely welcome.

The food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable. Our only issues were that our family room looked out over the roof of the function area. This meant we had a lovely view of air contitioning units. Worse than this though was the function on there was very loud and went on very late. I did not want to hear 'Sex is On fire' in the early hours! Shame as we had a very tired family for Legoland and had to leave early. Otherwise a lovely hotel and very helpful staff.

Great experience. Room was large, clean and modern. Nice, large walk in shower, comfortable large bed, good aircon. Great grounds around the hotel, perfect for sitting outside for food and drinks in good weather. The only thing which would improve the stay would be a fridge in the room and vanity mirror in the bathroom. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

The room was large and well equipped. The pillows were a bit firm but obviously that is personal choice. Breakfast was good as usual, but can’t understand why they don’t provide warm plates, as soon as you put the food from the buffet on the plate it goes cold, but that is only a minor issue

lovely place, very comfy room dinner was excellent, we were with our 3 year old and a massive thank you to Alex, who was super friendly and helpful throughout dinner, all the staff were great from start to finish but he went further.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is beautiful and the staff were lovely. However we have given 4 stars instead of 5 due to one staff member we met at breakfast. She wasn’t very old and clearly did not want to be there. She was borderline rude and made us all feel as though we shouldn’t have been there. Luckily the older lady also serving breakfast made up for this, she was extremely welcoming and friendly. Thank you ☺️

I treated my boyfriend to a one night stay at this hotel and it really is very special. The place is immaculately clean, rooms stunning, the staff are wonderful and are extremely polite and professional. We had dinner in a private pod which was an amazing experience and our waiter Matt was very friendly and efficient also the quality of the dinner was very good. The only small criticism I would make is that the breakfast was a let down. The tea was poured from one large teapot and was very weak. undrinkable. The quality of the breakfast was very poor too and my boyfriend couldn't eat any of it which was a shame as it was expensive. Hopefully this is something the management can look at improving. Apart from the breakfast I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is about 20 mins from Windsor, in a small leafy village, easy to find. We had an upgraded room in the new wing which was excellent, had a patio opening out onto a large green space. The bed was a little hard for me perhaps needed a thicker topper to the mattress. We dined in both nights - Sunday lunch was excellent and Monday night choices from the main menu were great the food was high quality and plentiful. The standout for us was Max in the bar/restaurant. There were several young staff who provided decent service but Max was the standout. He was incredibly mindful of providing excellent service, he was very attentive and engaging. He greeted us straight away. He was jovial. He finished shift before we paid the first night, we saw him come back and tried to give him a tip but he absolutely refused and said if we were happy he did not need a financial acknowledgement, he just wanted to know we were happy with everything. The next day he was working the bar when we first went in, we chatted and again thanked him for his service the day before, he was very humble. It's the small things that leave the lasting impression - keep it up Max. Generally although we have no real reason to go back to the area for sightseeing we would definitely consider staying here a night or two before heading home from LHR which is about 30 mins ago. Very happy with this visit

A beautiful hotel with staff that were super helpful. We got back late from Ascot and they very kindly rustled us up some food which we were very grateful for. A lovely breakfast the next morning too. Will book early for next year.

Property - absolutely lovely hotel with lovely clean rooms and bedding Staff - really friendly hotel staff, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a happy one, issues we encountered on arrival were dealt with swiftly (we were given a travel cot for our 9 year old to sleep in). And when we had to return later in the day to retrieve left behind shoes. Restaurant - really let this hotel down on our stay. We went down for an evening meal after arriving later than we expected, so only ordered main courses as we wanted to get our 9 yr old to bed, it took over 2 hours just to serve us 3 main meals, of which the child’s chicken burger was almost inedible. We walked out of breakfast the next morning without eating after waiting over 1 hour 40 minutes just for 2 full English breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast for our 9 yr old. They were apologetic, but it meant we arrived at Legoland late ( the reason for our stay) and hungry. As much as we liked the hotel we’re sadly not sure we would stay again.

Been regularly staying at The Stirrups since 1998 and have not had a bad stay yet … always first class service …. My only slight disappointment this visit was there wasn’t smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on the breakfast menu … that said the full English was just the ticket

Very welcoming staff, lovely country hotel surrounded by gardens. No road noise, comfortable beds and good range of meal choices in restaurant. Close to legoland few minutes drive and heathrow short drive from hotel.

We stopped after flying into Heathrow. Great Parking, friendly staff and good standard of room. Breakfast was first class. Especially the cooked breakfast which is served from the kitchen. We are a family of 4 and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It is great location if you want to visit Windsor and Legoland.

Stirrups is a lovely hotel, stylish and clean, with great food and a nice, quiet atmosphere. It’s aimed at Ascot goers but with Legoland only a short drive away, during our stay most other guests were families with children. I think the hotel would profit from a small playground or a corner with games and books for little ones. Still, it’s a great value for money!

Stirrups is in a lovely area close to Legoland and the centre of Windsor, both which we visited during our stay. There is a fantastic outdoor space which our children had a great time playing in and meeting new friends. The food and service was also excellent.

Tge room was fantasitic for a family of 5 plenty of space. The food was excellent and the location also. It was less than a 10 minute drive to legoland. It was great to relax in the peaceful gardens after a busy day out.

Great hotel with friendly service, great food and hired pod was very novel, cosy and fun. We were 2 adults with 2 adult sons and had a really enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent experience! Loved the outdoor pods for Sunday Lunch .Food and service outstanding . A special mention to Sam, the waiter, who made our family gathering so enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Overall the stay was impeccable, only slight note for me, was the bed was 2 beds to form 1 king sized and the gap was a little pronounced, only an issue as i had the whole bed to myself. Service, food and every other element was outstanding

This is a great find. Perfect for Ascot races. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had dinner which was good but lamb was a little overpriced and the buffet breakfast was like warm. Otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

Property - absolutely lovely hotel with lovely clean rooms and bedding Staff - really friendly hotel staff, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a happy one, issues we encountered on arrival were dealt with swiftly (we were given a travel cot for our 9 year old to sleep in). And when we had to return later in the day to retrieve left behind shoes. Restaurant - really let this hotel down on our stay. We went down for an evening meal after arriving later than we expected, so only ordered main courses as we wanted to get our 9 yr old to bed, it took over 2 hours just to serve us 3 main meals, of which the child’s chicken burger was almost inedible. We walked out of breakfast the next morning without eating after waiting over 1 hour 40 minutes just for 2 full English breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast for our 9 yr old. They were apologetic, but it meant we arrived at Legoland late ( the reason for our stay) and hungry. As much as we liked the hotel we’re sadly not sure we would stay again.

The room was large and well equipped. The pillows were a bit firm but obviously that is personal choice. Breakfast was good as usual, but can’t understand why they don’t provide warm plates, as soon as you put the food from the buffet on the plate it goes cold, but that is only a minor issue

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location, rooms spacious and well maintained. Only disappointment was the food. Breakfast not great. Over priced for what was on offer for the continental. Cooked breakfast was buffet style but looked pretty bad. I think if they offered breakfast to order it would be a great option. Dinner was just average. So in summary, great location but eat elsewhere .

Staff were very helpful and thoughtful. We arrived on the family summer event and the car park was full but the hotel had the foresight to get the staff to park their own cars in the car park and then move them for residents. One of the few places that know how to serve a proper brandy - in a warmed brandy glass. Most try to serve it in a straight whisky glass with ice!

Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and space for children to play could do with some games for children. Menu quite limited for choice and pizza van shut before we got back from our trip to LEGOLAND. Room was immaculate and serviced daily some staff came across as standoffish to the point of rude.

What a wonderful find 👍 we loved it ! Fluffy towels , great shower , comfy bed ! Plenty of plug sockets! Iron & ironing board ! Tea & coffee in the room , lovely staff , great food 10/10

Plenty of parking. Large clean room. Lovely restaurant and the kids love the beanbags and swing chairs outside to relax in. Second stay here, perfect for LEGOLAND.
