This was my first time at Voco the Franklin and I was very pleased. The room was cute and the staff very helpful. I slept well as the bed was comfortable and there was no street noise. I will return!

David, as well as the other front desk staff, was very helpful. Text communications worked well. Rooms small but nicely appointed and all have bathtubs.

I think this hotel is a great location, hard to find a place like this on the Upper East, and the rooms are small but nice. Unfortunately my check in experience was totally insane, there was no one at the front desk when I got there .. totally open space by the front door with no security … then I was given the room key of an occupied room (thank gosh the person was out at the time) and then despite presenting my ID and saying my name many times, the staff kept saying another name, and then said they didn’t have a room for me. It ended up fine but it didn’t make me feel comfortable at all. I think it’s unfair to put staff in a role that they’re not trained enough to do- I felt bad for the person.
