I’ve stayed in several luxury hotels in Delhi over the years. The Lodhi was recommended by an Indian co-worker. The Lodhi is best enjoyed with a suite. The regular garden room was, for a luxury hotel, in fairly bad need of renovation. Stained tile, worn out mirrors, delaminating floors. A bathroom vanity that had very little room to put anything.. space for only 1 suitcase. I could go on. The breakfast was adequate for a luxury hotel, but I’ve seen much better at other luxury Delhi hotels. The layout of the hotel is disjointed and kind of hard to understand. The motif of the common areas are dated using dark colors, and again, appear to need renovation. I received an email offering a bid for an upgrade, but I was denied, most likely because I made my reservation using Hotels.com. However, kudos to the front desk staff for moving us to a very lovely plunge pool suite for our last evening when a very loud wedding outside our door drove us crazy. I would like to complement the staff, who were always pleasant, helpful and at your service. All in all, I feel that The Lodhi is quite overpriced, and is not a good value for the high prices they charge.

Amazing hotel. The restaurants and bar are top notch. My room had a private outdoor pool and was easily one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. It is spacious and extremely comfortable. The architecture and design of the facilities and my room were stunning. Any time I am in Delhi, I will try to stay at The Lodhi.

Good overall property. However, Very bad service in the room. Private pool heating takes ages to heat up, was informed 1 hr from one receptionist, later informed 3-4 hours. Ended up not using the pool as it got too late. Not so happy for the price paid

I’ve stayed in many of the leading hotels around the world but The Lodhi was by far the best, the staff are absolutely amazing, greeting by our names from the moment we arrived by all the staff, the hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, so manicured and pristine and the food in their main restaurant was outstanding, and the cakes in the hotels bakery were just spectacular. Big thank you to Sanjay & Ratan for keeping our room immaculately clean, supplying fruit, and making sure we had everything we needs at all times, and also to Purushottam who helped us with information and always made a point to come over to ensured we were ok. Now to are room….wow, it was absolutely beautiful, we had a pool room and were upgraded to a higher floor. Everything was tastefully decorated and to a very high standard. If you’re going to Delhi this hotel has to be your first choice, we have been travelling now for 7 weeks and the cleanliness and service we’ve had from other hotels hasn’t even come close to the standard of the Lodhi. It’s definitely up there with one of my favourite hotels.

One of a kind property in the area while specifically looking for a plunge pool in a suite with luxury, quiet and serene time with family. Glad to mention that this property checked each and every bullet point I desired during my stay. Harshita from reception checked us in and escorted to room. The team effort of house keeping and front really made us feel welcomed for our special occasion of a birthday celebration. Amit, believe a Sr. Manager from front again, I call him the miracle person, raised always to the challenge of special requests. Sunil, Sanjay, Jagdish and so many more from House keeping - cant say thanks enough to all of you. Purshotam a special thanks to you. Only department that lacked the luster was F&B, the restaurant in the breakfast with extremely limited offerings with an excuse that they are not offering the full due to lack of capacity. Believe that's not my fault as a customer and felt short. Will definitely recommend this property to anyone and will visit again as a part of my bi annual India visit ritual. Cheers Lodhi Team

Let me start by saying I came here a few weeks ago and was totally in love with the Lodhi Hotel. So much so that my second time around, I chose to stay here over the Taj and other five-star hotels. I am only here for one day due to business, so I selected what I think is a deluxe room with a private pool. I arrived about 3 am, and I have to say, what a different experience this second time is. I hate my room; it's outdated/old, the furniture is dirty, the carpet is dirty, the tile on the floor is worn, and you can see it needs fixing – not a five-star rating in the least. All in all, I am disappointed. ☹️

We had an awesome stay at the Lodhi. Check in and check out were seamless. The staff were all so friendly and professional. A special shoutout to the Elan staff, who made our stay so special. They brought out all these extras for us, pastries, fruit, and even miniature versions of Indian dishes on their menu just because we wanted to try them but were too full to order a full plate. They really made an effort to share their culinary culture. Our suite was just as pictured, the balcony and private pool were amazing. The toiletries were top notch. The gym was so well stocked, like a commercial gym with lots of weight and functional equipment. We had an great stay and would stay here next time we are in Delhi! 10/10 for everything!

This place is incredible. Perhaps the best room we've ever had around the world. The service is spectacular. Anything we needed, a staff member would jump to accommodate us. A special shout-out to Surjeet(?) our driver for the day who took us to the old town and escorted us through the various markets. Thanks for all the support, Surjeet! Ajay also did some driving for us and it was quite an experience to watch a Master at work. Would also like to recognize our concierge Chirag who went above and beyond. I rarely use a concierge but it seemed that on this trip, I was constantly in need of assistance. Chirag was always there to fix the issue. In fact, he continued to assist us even after we left Delhi. Thanks so much! We will only stay at the Lodhi when we are in Delhi.
