We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and didn’t want to leave. I cannot come up with a single thing with this hotel that is not perfect. It might be seen as highly priced but it is not considering the standard and everything that is included in the price. The transport to the airport is included, sun beds at the beach are included. There are afternoon teas with a wonderful assortment of drinks and snacks a couple of times per week. There are also wine evenings serving wonderful wines a couple of times per week, everything included in the price. Everyone in the staff must have been hand picked as they are so friendly and in a very genuine way. The gardeners will greet you in the morning, the cleaners, the reception, staff in restaurant are all so nice and helpful! The driver picking you up at the airport with a fresh towel and a bottle of water- also so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are incredibly good. So much tropical fresh fruits and everything else anyone could ever wish for. All served with a wonderful view of the ocean and green garden of the hotel. The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. When you walk to the beach the staff will quickly fix the sunbed for you with a mattress, towel and umbrella. The gym was well equipped and clean and open from early morning to late evenings. . There is a yoga class every morning. My wife had the best massage in her life at the hotel. If you are going to Phu Quoc then stay at this hotel.

This is easily the best hotel on phu quoc. It is beautifully styled in a French colonial look, it has its own spacious beach area and pool. A great gym and free daily yoga with a wonderful Vietnamese teacher The staff are fantastic, the food is great. If you want to switch off and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the place for you. Please do tip the staff the average wage is $30 a week they work 6 days!! A couple of dollars goes a long way!

La Veranda was the best property I stayed at while my three weeks in Vietnam. I am definitely recommending this to friends and if I return to the island, I will stay here the staff was above and beyond friendly. Sam, from guest relations made me feel so welcome from the onset of my visit. Luan also made me feel very welcome in explaining the property amenities. I pre-planned a massage and that was an amazing way to start my visit. I didn’t feel like I needed to leave the resort as the beach and pool were so lovely and quiet. The beach waters were safe and I knew the beach staff was looking out. The breakfast buffet was very good, I enjoyed the maid to order eggs and pancakes. The pastry section was very good being a solo traveler. I appreciated how extensive the in room dining menu was and how excellent the food tasted. I didn’t want to leave this property. Everything exceeded my expectations.

The best hotel on the Phu Quoc island!! We booked two hotels, both considered the best hotels and LaVeranda is by far the best, in our opinion. Excellent beach, beautiful gardens, people who work here know you by name and are sincerely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Loved the food - both for breakfast and when you come in for lunch or dinner. In fact, even after we moved to another hotel, we were coming back to enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the live music and singing. The beach is really the best. The hotel is not very big which makes it very cozy and the beach is more than enough for people who come stay here. The rooms are always cleaned perfectly. The yoga and meditation sessions are amazing. Absolutely in love with the SPA services and center. Booked several massage sessions with Tram and felt so light and relaxed after them (Tram is amazing!) Sam, the Guest Experience Manager, is so welcoming and always very helpful - an absolute pleasure to deal with! Sin, the chef, cooks amazing food - went for a cooking class with him. All the staff is great, helpful and really made our vacation one of the best experiences of our life. We strongly recommend to spend time at LaVeranda if you consider going to Phu Quoc. Even if you don’t stay here, you will enjoy coming for SPA or food. We really feel like we left a family there as the whole team became so dear to our hearts!

Excellent resort with great ammenities. The gardens are just stunning and the pool area is the perfect place to curl up with a book. What makes this resort the perfect go to is the staff, Sam is a gift and the entire team do not fail to deliver day upon day. The rooms are a little bit dated but the resort gardens, ammenities and dining options make up for the lack of modern room styling. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance but for the price point and taste factor we happily ate at the resort on multiple occasions, most certainly do the upstairs dining option of an evening, an absolute experience. If you want drinks and vibe pop next door out the back to the left for some drinks and bites and then pop back to the luxury La Veranda has to offer. Truly it’s a home away from home and the staff create this beautiful energy :)

Everyone carries a smiling face. They pamper us into a state of total relaxation. The beach is wonderful. We can order drinks anywhere at pool and beach. A letter from the manager is very warm to us. An almond cake and cookies are amazing. Efforts of pest control are noticeable.

No matter how many times we return to this hotel—and we’ve honestly lost count—each stay somehow manages to exceed the last. The staff are consistently professional and courteous, yet every visit they feel even more polished, attentive, and experienced. They made this stay so comfortable and enjoyable that we’ve already begun planning our next trip back. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully prepared, and the food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s genuinely hard to find anything to critique. We’ll continue choosing this hotel every time we’re in Phu Quoc, and we’ll keep recommending it to friends as the place to stay on the island.

Excellent beach, beautiful gardens, people who work here know you by name and are sincerely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Loved the food - both for breakfast and when you come in for lunch or dinner. In fact, even after we moved to another hotel, we were coming back to enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the live music and singing. The beach is really the best. The hotel is not very big which makes it very cozy and the beach is more than enough for people who come stay here. The rooms are always cleaned perfectly. The yoga and meditation sessions are amazing. Absolutely in love with the SPA services and center. Booked several massage sessions with Tram and felt so light and relaxed after them (Tram is amazing!) Sam, the Guest Experience Manager, is so welcoming and always very helpful - an absolute pleasure to deal with! Sin, the chef, cooks amazing food - went for a cooking class with him. All the staff is great, helpful and really made our vacation one of the best experiences of our life. We strongly recommend to spend time at LaVeranda if you consider going to Phu Quoc. Even if you don’t stay here, you will enjoy coming for SPA or food. We really feel like we left a family there as the whole team became so dear to our hearts!

Excellent resort with great ammenities. The gardens are just stunning and the pool area is the perfect place to curl up with a book. What makes this resort the perfect go to is the staff, Sam is a gift and the entire team do not fail to deliver day upon day. The rooms are a little bit dated but the resort gardens, ammenities and dining options make up for the lack of modern room styling. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance but for the price point and taste factor we happily ate at the resort on multiple occasions, most certainly do the upstairs dining option of an evening, an absolute experience. If you want drinks and vibe pop next door out the back to the left for some drinks and bites and then pop back to the luxury La Veranda has to offer. Truly it’s a home away from home and the staff create this beautiful energy :)

This is easily the best hotel on phu quoc. It is beautifully styled in a French colonial look, it has its own spacious beach area and pool. A great gym and free daily yoga with a wonderful Vietnamese teacher The staff are fantastic, the food is great. If you want to switch off and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the place for you. Please do tip the staff the average wage is $30 a week they work 6 days!! A couple of dollars goes a long way!

This is quite simply the best hotel on the island. The staff go above and beyond. Sam who leads the team really knows what makes a perfect stay. The hotel is nestled away in a busy area but it has this wonderful calming tranquil vibe. It's also spacious, from dining to the beach it's all laid out so it's very private. The food is excellent, and the cocktails are just perfect. The on-site spa is my favourite in the world, the staff are all fully trained massueses and it shows! Having visited Phu quoc for over 10 years and also staying at many other hotels ( because we split our stay over 2 weeks) there is no where that comes close to La Veranda.

We have travelled all around Vietnam and have so many lovely stays everywhere we have stayed but the service here was a dream. So many smiles and kindness from all the staff. The grounds are stunning, Pool beautiful and warm. We even found a wine we liked here which is saying alot. The tropical foliage on the paths around grounds is stunning as well. We used the spa, had several dinners , and listened to music from their talented singers. We didnt use beach alot but their staff were right there making sure you were taken care of. I personally thought water looked polluted which is not their fault. Lots of mosquitos though so bring bug spray. The hotel tried spraying best they could. But you are in jungle. 100 percent recommend. Oh the breakfast was devine each morning with a breathtaking view . Turn down service with a baked treat was just the added touch to make this a world class special treat.

La Veranda was the best property I stayed at while my three weeks in Vietnam. I am definitely recommending this to friends and if I return to the island, I will stay here the staff was above and beyond friendly. Sam, from guest relations made me feel so welcome from the onset of my visit. Luan also made me feel very welcome in explaining the property amenities. I pre-planned a massage and that was an amazing way to start my visit. I didn’t feel like I needed to leave the resort as the beach and pool were so lovely and quiet. The beach waters were safe and I knew the beach staff was looking out. The breakfast buffet was very good, I enjoyed the maid to order eggs and pancakes. The pastry section was very good being a solo traveler. I appreciated how extensive the in room dining menu was and how excellent the food tasted. I didn’t want to leave this property. Everything exceeded my expectations.

We have travelled all around Vietnam and have so many lovely stays everywhere we have stayed but the service here was a dream. So many smiles and kindness from all the staff. The grounds are stunning, Pool beautiful and warm. We even found a wine we liked here which is saying alot. The tropical foliage on the paths around grounds is stunning as well. We used the spa, had several dinners , and listened to music from their talented singers. We didnt use beach alot but their staff were right there making sure you were taken care of. I personally thought water looked polluted which is not their fault. Lots of mosquitos though so bring bug spray. The hotel tried spraying best they could. But you are in jungle. 100 percent recommend. Oh the breakfast was devine each morning with a breathtaking view . Turn down service with a baked treat was just the added touch to make this a world class special treat.

La Veranda was the best property I stayed at while my three weeks in Vietnam. I am definitely recommending this to friends and if I return to the island, I will stay here the staff was above and beyond friendly. Sam, from guest relations made me feel so welcome from the onset of my visit. Luan also made me feel very welcome in explaining the property amenities. I pre-planned a massage and that was an amazing way to start my visit. I didn’t feel like I needed to leave the resort as the beach and pool were so lovely and quiet. The beach waters were safe and I knew the beach staff was looking out. The breakfast buffet was very good, I enjoyed the maid to order eggs and pancakes. The pastry section was very good being a solo traveler. I appreciated how extensive the in room dining menu was and how excellent the food tasted. I didn’t want to leave this property. Everything exceeded my expectations.

The best hotel on the Phu Quoc island!! We booked two hotels, both considered the best hotels and LaVeranda is by far the best, in our opinion. Excellent beach, beautiful gardens, people who work here know you by name and are sincerely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Loved the food - both for breakfast and when you come in for lunch or dinner. In fact, even after we moved to another hotel, we were coming back to enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the live music and singing. The beach is really the best. The hotel is not very big which makes it very cozy and the beach is more than enough for people who come stay here. The rooms are always cleaned perfectly. The yoga and meditation sessions are amazing. Absolutely in love with the SPA services and center. Booked several massage sessions with Tram and felt so light and relaxed after them (Tram is amazing!) Sam, the Guest Experience Manager, is so welcoming and always very helpful - an absolute pleasure to deal with! Sin, the chef, cooks amazing food - went for a cooking class with him. All the staff is great, helpful and really made our vacation one of the best experiences of our life. We strongly recommend to spend time at LaVeranda if you consider going to Phu Quoc. Even if you don’t stay here, you will enjoy coming for SPA or food. We really feel like we left a family there as the whole team became so dear to our hearts!

Excellent resort with great ammenities. The gardens are just stunning and the pool area is the perfect place to curl up with a book. What makes this resort the perfect go to is the staff, Sam is a gift and the entire team do not fail to deliver day upon day. The rooms are a little bit dated but the resort gardens, ammenities and dining options make up for the lack of modern room styling. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance but for the price point and taste factor we happily ate at the resort on multiple occasions, most certainly do the upstairs dining option of an evening, an absolute experience. If you want drinks and vibe pop next door out the back to the left for some drinks and bites and then pop back to the luxury La Veranda has to offer. Truly it’s a home away from home and the staff create this beautiful energy :)

Hyggeligt hotel på Long Beach som er det mest turistede område på Phu Quoc. Hotellet er trukket væk fra den larmende hovedvej og ligger beskyttet mellem palmerne. Meget venligt og opmærksomt personale. Værelset var fint og rent, men badeværelset var lidt slidt.
