Steele Cottage

Lovely breakfast and house tour at Duff Green Mansion included.

Interesting place to stay. Good value, breakfast was a treat! Enjoyed our stay, would be happy to stay again.

We didn’t stay at Steele Cottage because the floors were being redone & took longer to cure. They placed in another facility that I never would have chosen, but they didn’t give me a choice. Staff on the phone was friendly. Staff at the Green mansion where we had breakfast were lovely. The room was clean, but the bed required steps to get up on top. Biggest problem was location. Racing cars kept waking us up. At on point there was a screech of tires and a woman began yelling for 10+ minutes. Seemed as if drug deals were going down.

The property and room/bathroom were all clean and well kept. Did not realize the breakfast was not on location and didn’t begin until 8:30 am. I had a long day ahead of me and departed at 7:30 am. Would definitely stay here again, if I was spending more time in Vicksburg.
