Property was undergoing renovations in the restaurant/bar and so it was very quiet over the weekend. Stayed for 4 nights and didn’t get a single bed turnover, room clean or whatsoever. Staff at check-in was super nice; in contrast the staff at check-out was not so friendly. Not sure if that is the norm for this place…

Nice enough hotel but with the bar/restaurant area under refurnishment and reception unmanned unless requested the place seemed deserted. I didnt see any staff except the person i summoned to reception via the outside intercom on arrival. Neither did i see other guests. Rooms were nice, though tv old, and the shower was just weird. A pure example of style over functionality. The water came out at 90 degrees and the shower head couldnt be adjusted. Bathroom *looked* fabulous, but i'd have preferred a shower i could stand under.

You can hear the music from the bar in the room, which continues until 1am. Noise outside during the night. Woken up by clenaers chatting loudly in the corridoor outside our room.

Hotel is being renovated, we only saw our room as all other facilities were closed. Opened our door in the morning to find a ladder right outside and the ceiling down, workmen started work about 8am right above our room. Could have warned us! Room was ok, bed comfortable, served the purpose for a 1 night stay. No staff on duty when checking out, so just left key on desk and left.

Stayed for 2 nights. Generally tidy and well maintained room. Decent sized and comfortable bed. Facilities such a fridge, kettle and coffee machine in the room. Decent barroom. Little bit noisy of an evening above the lounge but they provided ear plugs so sleep was not majorly disturbed. Walking distance of the station and Wetherspoons next door. Good location.

I booked a "quiet" room but found that when we arrived at our room late evening below us was a nightclub! Which continued until 1am. I called the reception and was told they were fully booked and there was nothing that could be done. I was to complain on the monday, which i will do. The room was nice, just very disappointed. We got no sleep!

This is not a 4 star hotel. Paint coming off from the walls. No reception during the day. The bath towels are stained. There are not enough hotels in the area for them to compete with that's why they're still in business.

Bosco? More like Bosc-No Please if anyone reads this then save yourself some money, £175 for a dirty room, stains, dust, burns and an awful bathroom, shower. The only benefit i can see is the lighting in the room is so poor you might not see what i have described.

The hotel is very well decorated & extremely clean. Our room was very nice & cleaned daily everything was lovely except for the fact that the room was very warm. We tried to turn the heating off but it was still very warm. However we would definitely stay again as it is very convenient for visiting our daughter & the best hotel we have found in the area up to date & we have tried a few!

The room size and bathroom size are comfortable. It’s an easy walk from the train station. It was not as clean as I’d like, food droppings on carpet near bed. The bathroom sink stopper wasn’t working.

This is no more than a 1 star hotel. Nothing worked, not the tv, not the shower, not the coffee machine, and it was dusty on the floor. When I reported everything missing, I got a new coffee machine, but the TV was never fixed even though it was promised by the staff who were at work that day. In addition, it says that breakfast is included, which is not the case as the restaurant is under renovation, this is outright deception as you actually pay for it. Directly misleading by both the hotel and hotels.com through which we booked. you don't get any of the price refunded either. It is expensive to stay at Bosco, but nowhere near worth the money. Will not be staying there again when I go to the area later this year.

The air conditioning in room 304 does not work. Even with the curtains closed it was 31C on check in around 16:00 and by 20:00 it was still 29C and overnight never got below 23C. I stay in the area weekly and have stayed in that room before (maybe 2 years ago) and informed staff that A/C didn't work. Vomit on the ramp outside the front door, there since last week, had not been cleaned up. No breakfast any more, but there is a good cafe (Ikon) around the corner.

Great hotel, neat rooms and cracking bar area. Highly recommended. Although a non smoking room, it did smell a little of cigarettes.

Room temperature management was very difficult and made for a disturbed night. I'm not an idiot but it was just too difficult. I think there were timers also which meant I could not get heat when I needed it.

The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and ideally located for surbiton station (moments away) and easy access to Kingston. The shower pressure was good. I stayed on a Thursday nigh & it served its purpose perfectly.

Very kind staff and excellent breakfast. Those two combined made up for the lacking housekeeping and the weak internet in the room. Breakfast was awesome, and internet much better in the restaurant, so I might use that for online work and meetings next time around. Location is great - right next to the train station, and the bus connection to LHR airport is smooth :-)

Hotel was nice, breakfast was nice but didn’t get much sleep had a loud noise like a generator vibrating in our room - hotel must have known about noise as they had complimentary ear plugs in the room which is very odd.

Although when I booked the room was advertised as a noisy room, I assumed that meant noise from other guests. Had I known it was because there is a nightclub in the hotel I would not have paid £135 to stay there for one night! It is so noisy you can clearly hear the music being played downstairs!!

Had a number of issues, starting with the fact that I'd booked a 'quiet' room and nevertheless was booked into a room on the first floor, directly above the noisy bar. Only when challenged did the hotel agree to move me to a second floor room further away. Despite this I still heard the music from the bar until around midnight. The hallways additionally have dividing doors that slam if guests don't close them softly, so that wakes you throughout the night. Overall not a quiet/restful night. The room was also not in great condition, with signs of leaks from above (staining to bathroom/bedroom ceiling). The shower ('rainfall') literally poured water over the top of the shower head which went everywhere. In summary I'd not choose to stay here again.

The staff were really friendly and helpful on arrival and check out. The housekeeping team were lovely. The room was very comfortable and the facilities excellent. The shower was wonderful!

Opened our door in the morning to find a ladder right outside and the ceiling down, workmen started work about 8am right above our room. Could have warned us! Room was ok, bed comfortable, served the purpose for a 1 night stay. No staff on duty when checking out, so just left key on desk and left.

room was nice, modern, clean, spacious, quiet. everything that I wanted. Bur beware 1: the check-in. Nobody on site, no repones to intercom or phones, couldn't get in and had to wait outside for 20 mins until a random appearance of staff. 2: there is a club downstairs, was closed during my trip, thankfully, but I'd be wary of room noise when it re-opens. There a earplugs available in the bathroom, which says something about noise nuisance.

Impersonal, no lounge area, no staff visable just a bell to press. But...... a very modern hotel with good facilities. No breakfast but a discount at nearby cafe. Hotel is close to plenty of cafés, pubs and good bus/train service

Personally my Stay was great, the room was very large and lots of space. Reception staff helpful. However had to remove a star as another couple in our party had their room cancelled on the day with no warning or communication until they arrived

Unbelievably loud music playing in the bar kept me awake until 1am. When I complained about this at reception I was told that I must have ‘chosen a loud room’. The stay then became comically bad when at about 6am water starts flooding down from the ceiling in the corridor outside, with smaller leaks in my room. At this point I cut my losses and checked out. Awful.

I recommend this hotel. Location is excellent: a short walk to the train into London. The rail connection to/from Gatwick is good, one change at Clapham Junction. There are a bunch of coffee shops, pubs, and a grocery store closeby. I was upgraded to a terrace room. It was super clean. The interior is modern and stylish. My room on the top floor was quiet. There is a bar downstairs so at weekends the higher floors might be worth paying extra for. The building security seems good. Two sets of secure rooms to get to each floor. The staff are nice. Expedia hadn’t passed on the grade of room I’d paid for, however they accommodated me and actually upgraded my room. The only con I have is that the bathroom mirror lighting is dim, a triumph of design over function. But it was a minor issue for me.

Great hotel in Surbiton close to the train station and easy access to London Waterloo. Nice continental breakfast and modern room with nice bathroom. Always a good stay.

Despite my booking stating that I had breakfast included in the room rate, upon check in we were told that the dining room was closed for refurbishment. We were offered a small discount for breakfast at a cafe over the road but didn’t take it up. Other than being very conveniently placed for what we wanted to do over the weekend, there was nothing spectacular about Hotel Bosco. There was nothing wrong with our room and the bed was very comfortable to be fair, but overall for what we paid, I would have expected a bit more pizzazz!

Property was undergoing renovations in the restaurant/bar and so it was very quiet over the weekend. Stayed for 4 nights and didn’t get a single bed turnover, room clean or whatsoever. Staff at check-in was super nice; in contrast the staff at check-out was not so friendly. Not sure if that is the norm for this place…

Very kind staff and excellent breakfast. Those two combined made up for the lacking housekeeping and the weak internet in the room. Breakfast was awesome, and internet much better in the restaurant, so I might use that for online work and meetings next time around. Location is great - right next to the train station, and the bus connection to LHR airport is smooth :-)

One issue was the shower which needs a grab handle to assist getting in and out as the bath is high. The other one is that the hotel no longer does breakfast, so you need to be aware of that

Great hotel but it really should advertise the fact that the restaurant and bar are closed on a Sunday and not only can you not check in before 2pm, you can’t even leave your bags anywhere as the place is locked up with no staff on site! Regardless of this, the hotel was lovely, quiet, comfortable and great value. Breakfast was also lovely. Will definitely stay again

The ideal location just a short walk from Surbiton station and near to a good choice of restaurants and cafes. Excellent air conditioning and the room size was good with a bath and well fitted bathrooms. Only one strange thing was that the pillows were small and square. Otherwise excellent although Friday and Saturday nights might be noisy due to a cocktail bar on the ground floor.

Everything was good. We booked this hotel as it wasnt too far from Wimbldeon. A staff member helped me set up the air-conditioning. Our fridge wasnt worked and they replaced it and said it would come on in about 30 mins. It never did but Not the end of the world as we out for most of our stay. The hotel is located in a perfect location. Across the road from the train station, shops, pub and restaurants. Room had all you need including more pillows, iron and hair dryer. Plenty of towels. Also has a big bath. We would staff again if we had something booked in that area of Londo.
