Bequemes und ausreichend großes / ruhiges Zimmer mit sehr schönem Bad. Der Blick aus dem Fenster war dagegen eher enttäuschend. Dafür sehr gute Lage (fußläufig von netten Pubs) und jederzeit kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten in großer Zahl. Frühstück und Abendessen waren als Massenbetrieb ausgelegt und qualitativ nur Mittelmaß. Das (große) Schwimmbad war dagegen relativ leer (wichtig: Badekappe mitbringen!). Dass die Sauna wegen des Badekleidungszwangs völlig durchfeuchtet war und auch keinerlei Liegen oder Sitzflächen zur Verfügung stehen, hat den Wellnessgenuss allerdings deutlich gemindert. Beides war leider auch im zahlungspflichtigen Massagebereich so. Die Massagen selbst waren sehr gut.

We had a really enjoyable stay. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious, as was the meal we had in the bistro. There was a good selection of drinks available at the bar, and the nightly entertainment was good fun. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the pool looked very inviting, even though we didn't get a chance to use it this time. We will definitely return sometime, as there is a lot more to explore in Westport. Overall, a great experience.

This property is part of a few proeprties. Ensure you park in the designated spaces - there are above and below ground spots, included in the room rate. Used the hot tub, didn’t know that they require bathing caps on to use the pool. Restaurant was very good, had live music the night we were there. Spacious room and very close to the town - we walked into town for breakfast. Would recommend

Overall a great facility. Enjoyed the breakfast. Great location for walking the town and enjoying the pubs. No air conditioning which is understandable, but was a bit warm in the room. Also, a lot of noise from the pub in the evening. The music did end by midnight. Parking was very tight and challenging to get a car into the spaces.

The property was not a castle , but it was just as nice to stay at. Convenient walk to town , they had a wonderful pool at the property and hot tub ! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the property. We had a great made to order breakfast in the morning. Your restaurant staff were attentive, friendly and professional.. 👏👏👏. Would highly recommend this hotel if you’re in this part of Ireland. Only negative they played American music in the lounge . 😩

We enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is lovely and has all the faciliities you could ask for in a break away. Including a Gym, Spa and swimming pool. The beds were very comfortable which would be a big thing for me, i love my sleep, the room was hot as there is no air conditioning but it was August. The food in the dining room wS lovely, the service was brutal in the dining room, wrong orders been brought to the table, confusion a d inexperienced staff seemed to let this one area down. Be prepared to speak up in this department.

We really enjoyed our stay at Castle Court. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful with guiding us to local shopping and attractions. Our room was clean and spacious. Our room safe would not lock but we were provided with safe keeping of our valuables in the property main safe. Overall we really loved this property and would recommend it.

The Castlecourt Hotel was a superb family friendly hotel. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and all recently modernised. The reception areas in the hotel were relaxed and comfortable and the food in May’s Bistro was excellent. Breakfast each morning was fresh and there was a fantastic range available. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We will return to the hotel in future and highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful property in walking distance to the main shopping area. Brilliant food served at the hotel with an exceptional breakfast. Hotel is stunning apart from a few we pain jobs needing done in the rooms and staircases. Absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

A wonderful place to stay when in Westport, from friendly staff, centrally located, lovely clean rooms, comfortable beds, good food. Special mention to Alan on reservations who checked us in & out - friendly helpful guy - well done, great to have a staff so eager & helpful.

Hotel has a really bizarre layout and seemed dated generally. The pool is part of a club that others in the community use. As a result it wasn’t as resort/family friendly as we are used to. For example our 11 year old needed to wear a swim cap while in the pool and wasn’t permitted to use the hot tub. A bit disappointing as she was looking forward to using a pool. Location is great though.

This is a great place near the town centre. It has excellent public facilities including a terrific pool. The breakfast was superb. The only downside was our bedroom which was a bit tired.

The hotel was beautiful and very walkable to restaurants and pubs. The breakfast was fresh and served quickly so we could get going on our way. The hotel and the room was very warm and was difficult to cool - the fan helped but I can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer.

Our stay was quite nice. Our room was well done, the staff was excellent and helpful. We were traveling with a larger family goup and they made efforts to accomodate our dining needs. Well done!

The property is beautiful and centrally located within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The only complaint is that our room was located next to the wedding reception building and until 2:30 a.m. the band/DJ kept us awake. Staff were contacted and there were no other rooms available and they seemed dismissive of the fact that guests were being disturbed. In addition, once the music stopped, guests in the halls were rude and loud at 3:00 a.m. had we known there was a wedding being held, we would not have chosen to stay here.

The food in the dining room wS lovely, the service was brutal in the dining room, wrong orders been brought to the table, confusion a d inexperienced staff seemed to let this one area down. Be prepared to speak up in this department.

Beautiful property. Great location as any easy 2-6 minute walk to anywhere in downtown Westport. Super comfy beds, large bathroom, great breakfast. This hotel is wonderful and I will stay here next time I’m in Westport.

Great hotel in the heart of Westport! Breakfast was terrific, rooms clean and spacious, walkable to everywhere in town and close to shops, restos and pubs. Also a good take off point for Kylemore Abbey, Achill island, etc. Would definitely return!

We had a really enjoyable stay. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious, as was the meal we had in the bistro. There was a good selection of drinks available at the bar, and the nightly entertainment was good fun. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the pool looked very inviting, even though we didn't get a chance to use it this time. We will definitely return sometime, as there is a lot more to explore in Westport. Overall, a great experience.

Lovely property. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Restaurants on site were delicious. Westport was a favorite town of our trip. Great live music in the pubs, great restaurants and shopping. The bike trail was a highlight - several hours of cycling through amazing scenery.

There is a breakfast buffet for things such as fruit, serial, croissants, juice. But you order your main breakfast from a menu and this is served to you. The full irish breakfast was overcooked. It would be way better if they had a self service buffet, the best berakfast selections i have ever experienced are all in Scandinavian countries. Managemnet should have a look at this, much healthier and tastier, and less staff required. (I travel for a living, stayed in 30 hotels around scandanavia and Europe last year, so please take thus as a constructive observation).

We had a lovely room at a great price. The evening meal was excellent value and the breakfast choices and quality of food were also top notch. The location is superb too. The only quibble related to the quality of reception we received. The woman we dealt with (east European accent) appeared to be very disinterested in us. We were pretty knackered after driving 250 Km and were hoping for something a little warmer. The gentleman working in the bar was much keener to ensure that we had everything we needed. Interestingly, we returned two nights later for a second stopover. Again, the quality of the reception was poor. The female receptionist (local accent this time) asked in a loud, almost shouty, voice 'Can I help you please?'. We felt as though we were troubling her ever so slightly. Again, there was a complete lack of warmth in her approach. In sum, everything about the hotel was great but the Reception staff would benefit from a bit of customer care training. In particular, they need to learn how to show genuine warmth and interest when receiving guests, as well as seeking to ensure that their customers have an excellent experience right from the get-go.

Very disappointed that the restaurant was closed at 8pm because of a wedding we had booked weeks previously and was not made aware it would be closing early no was the staff at reception we stay with ye yearly and would have taught our business was equally as important as the wedding we had to leave ur hotel to eat elsewhere so disappointed after traveling a long journey from cavan respectfully yours rose lynch .
