The Raintree Hotel Chiang Mai

The room smellwd of sewage. We ended up getting a different room and that smelled of sewage as well. The water had biolfilm and messed up me andnmy families stomach from using it to brish our teeth. There was a lot of weird textures and clumps of white stuff in the pool. They charged a fee of nearly $5 ! Day for use of an extra set of towels. The breakfast was chaos and there didnt have any creamer or salt available. Also so many mosquitos from the doors being left open. Also bed of second room was rock hard it cut off circulation in my legs when i was sitting in it and one of our batjrooms had black mold

Good breakfast, friendly staff, clean and huge room. We love it.

The breakfast was not good at 8:30 am all empty and the staff did not care at all. Front desk helpful and apologized on the failures of Food and Beverage department .

Ideal place to stay close to Chiang Mai. It's not in the city center, a quieter neighborhood which is nice for a change. Easy to hire a grab, etc. to take you anywhere. A beautiful pool and typical free breakfast included. Their suite rooms are ideal for a family! Very spacious!
