When we first got there I was charged $15.00 a day for the second car. Okay I get that but then when I was told I had to give him $20.00 in cash I was a little put off. I was told I would get it back and I did. It was just a little difficult to wake the manager up in the morning when I left. When we got to the room the first thing I noticed was the age of the carpet and the damp feeling. I get that, it's close to the ocean, but my shoes stuck to the bathroom floor. I opened the dresser drawer and there were flakes of black things inside. Dale looked at the stains on the carpet and said "if anything falls on the floor, burn it". The table was broken. It was tilted, but it spun around on the base so it would get to almost level. Just don't hit it or put a glass on it. You don't have to worry about some one going through your stuff while you are gone though. No one came in our room for three days. If you want the bed made or room cleaned do it yourself. I am okay with that I guess. The sheets were clean when we got there and that counts a lot. We didn't get bedbugs so that counts for something. I haven't stayed at a motel in New Jersey before so I didn't know what to expect. When I make a road trip I stay in cheap motels. Motel 6, Econolodge, places like that.$85-110/night. This one was that. I just expected the same and was surprised.

It was as it was stated. I had no issues with its cleanliness. Just disappointed the washer dryer was broken. In the 2 weeks I was there no attempt to have it fixed.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the clerk was very unfriendly. When we checked into our room, the room had an odor, the floors were unvaccuumed, the bathtub was filthy, mirrors were dirty, the walls looked as if someone urined or deficated on them, there was mold all around the ceilings, and the beds were not properly made. There was no breakfast lobby either. I asked for extra towels the same clerk that checked me in said he was unable to get any for me. I had 2 towels for 3 people to shower! One roll of TP for 4 days and it was dollar store brand. It was the worst experience I ever had. When asked if i could get a different room I was told no and when i asked if there was any other accommodations they could give me i was also told no. I would like to receive some type of refund for this horrible experience.

Don’t really want to get on peoples bad side but the place was disgusting. I didn’t even want to use the bathroom while I was there and there was mold growing out of the tv stand.

The bathroom smelt like straight mold i instantly got a headache and felt nauseous. The carpet was sticky. There were stains all over the walls as if someone through something at the wall. The sheets were covered in yellow stains. By far the worst hotel ever and it should be closed because i just know its full of mold. You can smell it as soon as you walk in the room. I checked in and immediately checked out and found a different hotel qnd couldnt get refunded for the 3 days i paid for even though i didnt even stay there.

I booked there requested new sheets upon arrival because of the dirty and stained bed. When checking for cleanliness you’re more than likely to find burgundy blood spots on your sheets/ bed. One can only wonder how many bed bugs that place has had. The guy at the check in was very cool though. He tried his best with what he was dealing with. Besides that I wouldn’t book here again even for a last minute stay

The good: hot water once I realized the handle was in backwards. A/C worked even though the filter has probably never been changed. The bad: RUDE staff at desk. The dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. Carpet so deeply dirty it has that sticky grease feeling. Large cobwebs everywhere. A dirty piece of tissue shoved into the crack on the table. The chairs had stains that made me think of you sat down something wet might ooze up. No pillow cases. Stains on mattress and linens. Broken lights x2 and to dispenser but that truly didn’t matter when I didn’t want to touch anything in the room. Pay whatever you have to not to stay here. The DOH should probably close them. This is not an exaggeration.

It was awful experience we stayed for two nights first night we came in there's her many toilet paper in there and we needed an extra towel and the gentleman said that housekeeping wasn't available and we had to wait till 9:00 the next morning for a towel then the floors were dirty the furniture was Dusty and they were burned holes in the blankets even for a non-smoking room and then lastly we were bit by bed bugs so it was the worst experience I ever had staying in a hotel I do not recommend staying there

The place is nasty. There was pee all over the toilet and lots of short hairs on it. The bathtub was so sticky and nasty as well. We had to cross the street and buy some clorox and candles. The mirror was ridiculously dirty… Non-smoking room is was smelling like an ashtray, the property is not clean at all, lot of garbage on the floor. My card didn’t open the room when I got in the hotel at 2am and staff is a bit slow to get stuff done. I paid $174 but that room should not be more than 60$ a night. Very bad experience, will definitely not get back, I sleep in my car but not there!

This has to be the dirtiest and most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. Outside looks kept up but the rooms look like nothing has been touched or wiped down since the place opened. Every wall had a mysterious stain. Bathroom ceiling was about to fall down at any minute. Microwave had every bit of food ever cooked in it. Arrived at check in time, no one in lobby to open the door. Called the number and no answer. Rang the doorbell, as the sign stated, and no one there. 5 minutes goes by, not a long time, and someone calls back saying someone would let me in. Door buzzes and we walk into a fowl smelling, dirty man behind the counter. Miserable to say the least, but that was the least of the problems to come. Day of checkout…cleaning lady throwing all the top covers on the floor, changed sheets and threw the cover back in the bed! Don’t dare take the pillow cases off the pillows or you will see dark brown pillows with everyone’s saliva all over! Broken chair from the 1980s and they have 10 watt bulbs so bring your own lamps.

At check in, they should really post on website that they only want Cash deposit upon check in. They only had one towel in the room. Stated house keeping is after 10 am. The curtains were thin and you get all the light coming in. The rooms are in need of new lighting, rugs and updated shower. The attendant wanted everyone’s ID upon check in. In the morning when I asked for towels, I only got 1, I told housekeeping if it’s max 4 people which I had, (2 children and 2 adults) then I should have 4 towels and she refused. I ended up buying towels down the road at family dollar. I will not stay there again.

TV didn't work, internet didn't work, terrible broken-down mattress, advertised continental breakfast non-existent, filthy carpet, one (bent) wire hanger in closet, tattered lamp shades, hole in wall where tissue dispenser once was, corner of tabletop broken off. Front desk manned only from 3PM to 11PM. Stay away!!

The bed wasnt too bad, the state of the room itself was terrible. The door to the room looked uncleaned for ages. Carpet dirty and sticky. No hooks or hangers available to hang clothes/ wet towels in bathroom/ closet. The food options on Rt 30 is great with a wide variety of cuisines and Aldi/ Shoprite just across the street.

The room was nice. Everything worked. Check in was simple. The only negative is that it gets noisy with the RT. 30 traffic and the traffic light right out front of the property.

Front office accused menif stealing towels and a blanket when ON CAMERA, they have my wife placijg our dirty linens in the shopping cart they told me to put it in under the stairs with the rest of the dirty laundry from the hotel. This was after he already gave me back my cash deposit. He then tried charging my credit card 6 times. 150.125.100.75.50.25 each transaction. He then proceeded to tell me he didnt care about rhe cameras and i was in the wrong snd he will continue to charge my card for weeks on end until he gets paid.

I don’t usually write reviews. I’m a “sigh, move on with life” kind of person. But this experience was so aggressively awful that it feels irresponsible not to warn other humans. Because I booked online—and extended my stay online—the manager decided the appropriate response was to force me and my two children out into 20-degree weather with wind gusts up to 25 mph. No lobby. No grace period. No humanity. Just “pay $75 for early check-in or get out and come back at 4 p.m.” Important context: • I had already been there three days • I had already paid an early check-in fee once • I had one more night fully booked and paid for • I had no car to even sit in because mine was in the shop So there we were—me and my two kids—literally nowhere to go, being told to stand outside like we were misbehaving pets. When I wasn’t out within the hour, the manager escalated to calling the police. The officers were professional and kind, but at that point the manager refused my booking entirely and had us removed. no good service the stairs are not cleaned they don't take out the trash often i was in room 216 i haven't had any service for 3 days i gave a 40 dollar cash deposit i checked out at 11:15 they took the 40 dollar because i stayed for 15 minutes there is no WIFI in room 216 the tv doesn't have cable

At check in, they should really post on website that they only want Cash deposit upon check in. They only had one towel in the room. Stated house keeping is after 10 am. The curtains were thin and you get all the light coming in. The rooms are in need of new lighting, rugs and updated shower. The attendant wanted everyone’s ID upon check in. In the morning when I asked for towels, I only got 1, I told housekeeping if it’s max 4 people which I had, (2 children and 2 adults) then I should have 4 towels and she refused. I ended up buying towels down the road at family dollar. I will not stay there again.

TV didn't work, internet didn't work, terrible broken-down mattress, advertised continental breakfast non-existent, filthy carpet, one (bent) wire hanger in closet, tattered lamp shades, hole in wall where tissue dispenser once was, corner of tabletop broken off. Front desk manned only from 3PM to 11PM. Stay away!!

This is an older hotel, which is in need of a refresh. The room was comfortable for an overnight stay. It advertised a breakfast included but in the morning I couldn't find one. But like I said this was just a reststop for us.

The bed wasnt too bad, the state of the room itself was terrible. The door to the room looked uncleaned for ages. Carpet dirty and sticky. No hooks or hangers available to hang clothes/ wet towels in bathroom/ closet. The food options on Rt 30 is great with a wide variety of cuisines and Aldi/ Shoprite just across the street.

Outside of the property was dirty; as well as the room. The rug on the floor in the room was filthy. The bathtub was not clean. Although we asked for a non smoking room our room reaped of cigarette smoke. There was no continental asked advertised. They did not have an iron. If we not extremely tired we would have left. Please DO NOT stay at this disgusting rat hole.

It served us as a place to sleep. It did have a functioning shower. Superficially it appeared clean ( I mean fresh sheets) it appeared safe and quiet. Few towels. As a Motel it had easy parking and there was a five guys as food option which were very walkable. Condition of building and room were run down lots of things broken ( outlets, lights, toilet paper holder) and room had smell of lack of deep cleaning. Front desk polite and wants 40 dollars in CASH at checkin for key deposit ( ATM across street) Warned from previous reviews we brought our own sheets and towels and did fine.

Overall good experience and acceptable accommodations. Front staff was very nice and helpful. I liked that it had a microwave and mini refrigerator (with freezer section). Definitely a great bargain price in comparison to other hotels. Best part the room did not spell luke cigarettes.

Had a no smoking room that smelled of pot. The sheets, bedspread was soaked with the smell. Asked for a different room, was told it was full. I asked for housekeeping to chane the the bed spread, was told they are gone for the day. I asked for fresh bedding, was told no. I asked cancel the room, was told no refunds, that i would have to talk to hotels.com. the room was filthy. The room was dark even with all the lights on. The lamp shades were all cracked. The door looked like the room was broken into in the past. There were stains on the toilet seat that was all crusty. There was only half a roll of toilet paper. There was 1 bar of soap, no shampoo or conditioner. The bed only had 3 flat pillows. The tub was dirty and wasnt cleaned at all. The tub drains sloy and was probably the reason the stains were there before and wasnt cleaned. The place reminds me of a crack house or a motel that rents by the hour. The guy behind the glass deviser was completely useless. When i asked if i would be blamed for the pot smell, he said wouldnt but wouldnt put it in writing. The oulets were old and dangerous and any cell phone charger would just fall out. The coat rack pole was removed and there was no place to hang anything. Couldnt wait to get out of the place. Also make sure you keep your shoes on; the floor is gross and sticky. I had to bear and grin it because hotels.com was of no help either. This is by far the worst place ive ever stayed.
