We are traveling across the country with our 8-year -old grandson. I specifically chose hotels that have pools. We get here, pool is "out of order". I can see water in the pool but we can't use it. Why am I paying full price for a hotel with a pool when it's not available to us? Fraudulent!

The property offered 24/7 coffee and hot water with 6 different varieties of tea. Very nice. The breakfast was surprisingly good with scrambled or hard boiled eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, bagels, sweets, milk, juices, oatmeal, and fruit.

The property was nice, but not kept up very well. The carpets in hallway and room were noticeably in need of a vacuum. The pool was closed for renovation, which is not mentioned at time of booking. Desk clerk was friendly enough, but maybe could have been cleaning instead of laying on a couch in the lobby on his phone...

Not our favorite experience. Called ahead and wasn’t given proper info about amenities under construction, asked about hot tub and it was closed, staff wasn’t very friendly. Place was clean and quiet and easy to park a truck.

Be aware, the free wireless applies only to cell phones. Never stayed in a hotel anywhere where it was necessary to make a call and then enter a lengthy PW number to get access to the internet with a laptop. Ice machine was not working. Looked like it had not been working for some time. Of course I was told they then called to have someone to repair after we were leaving. The cleaning team used cleaning items that left an unsatisfactory odor that hung in the air. You may need to do stretches before you use the stool which was perfect height for a five year old.

We booked this hotel so the kids could swim during the day . We arrived and the pool was out of order. We received no notification ahead of time. Asked if we could get a refund so we could go to a hotel with a pool. We were told No. So we spent the weekend with disappointed kids that did not get to go swimming.

Checking in was very convenient! We loved the breakfast there were a lot of varieties of different food. The workers were very helpful. Above all the beds were clean and rooms were clean.

The room was only half way cleaned. Some kind of gunk on the curtains. Found a dollar behind the night stand i had to pull out to plug the lamp in. Wrappers behind the night stand. Floor was a different color when it was moved , proving they never move it to clean behind there. Carpet missing in some places. Mini fridge was dirty and missing pieces on the inside. The door to the room wouldn't close all the way unless you forcefully push on it.

We’ve stayed here before, maybe 10 years ago. It was decent then. But this time around, didn’t make me want to come back. There was only one person running the desk and taking care of calls for a weekend night shift, which sadly you see often anywhere. The room just didn’t feel clean. There were hairs in the bathtub, and as I pulled the comforter back for my kids, there’s more hairs in the sheets. The paint job was horrible, patches obviously touched up everywhere. There was a switch for fan in the bathroom, but no actual fan which made it feel very muggy after three showers and smell like chlorine, sweat and bathroom smells. The pool was underwhelming, just a handful of towels available, and only had two tables and two other long chairs. The fridge didn’t have an adjustment for temperature and at the base of it in the outside looked gross, not sure what was built up there. Feel like I stayed at the $67/night Motel instead of a supposedly 8.6/10 rated hotel.

The moment i walked in the room it felt uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty had hair on the floor and toilet like they wiped it and didnt clean. I went and got Clorox wipes and cleaned the floor and it was brown so telling me it had not been moped and multiple hair on the wipe. The tub had hair on the one wall so bathroom completely dirty not cleaned at all just a pass over i guess. The remote to the tv was broken and the carpet was riped and not replaced and the beds were so hard. Should have taken photos of the bathroom but i was so grossed out and upset.

I think the carpet is from the 80’s too. It’s pretty gross. The other huge issue is there is no sound proofing in walls or doors. You hear everything. It’s like you’re staying in one big house. I’d not return, but it was doable for the two nights.

It was quiet, the windows opened (which I loved!!!), and the pool was heated. Breakfast was standard but good. I do wish breakfast went later than 9am on the weekend :). The room was a touch dark since there are only lamps for light but that wasn’t a big deal. Overall, loved staying here and would stay here again!

A great place to stay. Rooms are larger with good showers. The breakfast is very good. Plenty to places to eat close by. The only down side is no elevator to the second floor and you can't turn off closed captioning on the TV. All in all, a great place for the money.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. Staff did not know what a roll away bed was and did not speak English very well. I had to request to speak to the manager and it took him 3 calls to somebody before I got results. The property was clean but it seemed like they were doing repairs and "updates" themselves so it didn't look "polished".

Was told they would give us a free upgrade because of the 40min long check in becuase of their screw up. Up and down the stairs..no elevator 4 times trying different keys that all didnt work only to find that the room was occupied which i had to figure out myself by knocking...not the staff.Then they took the upgrade away...poor customer service. Then told I'd get the night for free only to get charged anyway due to chain of command losing track of the whole event that happened at check in. Last time spending a night at an americinn or any wyndham hotel. Unprofessional and childish service.

It was ok. Check in was a little difficult but we had been driving all day and it was late. Communication barriers. There are no elevators. My husband is on dialysis and therefore this was an issue but they did switch our room. Room was large. Just an old hotel.

We stayed here twice. The fist time was amazing. The second time, not so much. The overnight employee, I believe fell asleep because we woke at 5 am and went to get coffee, it was empty. I called the desk from the front desk and he sounded like he just woke up. I asked if he could please make coffee, 45 minutes later, still no coffee.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast tables were not wiped off before people needed to sit, only at the end. The already hard muffins were put in a container to be put out again the next day. The greasy sausage and hardened eggs were almost inedible. Unwrapped toilet paper in room was previously wet stained and not changed. Air conditioning did not have a constant fan setting, so it constantly went on and off all night. Other than that, the hotel was clean.

The property offered 24/7 coffee and hot water with 6 different varieties of tea. Very nice. The breakfast was surprisingly good with scrambled or hard boiled eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, bagels, sweets, milk, juices, oatmeal, and fruit.

Key cards working was a constant issue - had to get them rekeyed each time I came in, a real hassle at midnight. Carpet in room was sticky from spilled beverages or food. Paint needs touch up in a number of areas of the room. Breakfast was advertised as serving to 10:00 am, but quit Sunday at 9:00.

We’ve stayed in Amercinn in other places, and had great experience. This one was quite different story. The bath tub was filthy dirty. The pool was open till 10, where in other hotels f this chain it was open till 11 PM. The breakfast was supposed to be till 10AM, we came at 9:40 - everything was closed and taken away!!! Very poor management!!!!

Traveling and needed a shower and a few hours of sleep before getting on the road again. I booked the room same day online after determining which city to stop in for sleep. Check in was easy and the room was ready. Shower was clean and comforting. Bed was super comfortable with several pillows to choose from. Room was quiet for the few hours of sleep I needed. Really disappointed with my stay here. When I first checked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel appeared to be recently remodeled, and the staff were very polite. The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. But that’s the extent of the nice things I can say. I was most disappointed that I paid extra for the Deluxe King room, and neither the fireplace or whirlpool tub worked - which was never mentioned to me at booking OR check-in. When I brought this up to the staff at check-out, all they had to say was “sorry, we will fix it soon”. They made no effort to compensate me or make it up in any way. I paid over $40 extra for two amenities that I didn’t even get to use, All of the toiletries were either completely empty or almost empty. There were also stains on the almost new carpet and couch, which tells me that they don’t clean those thoroughly, if it all. This is a fine hotel to stay in if you just need a place to rest your head for the night, but with how many hotels are around, you can almost certainly find a better hotel for the same price or cheaper.
