Check in and out was easy. We were in room 120 and it was o.k for the 2 nights we were there. The electrical outlet by the bathroom sink did not work so I had to balance my hand mirror on the chair to blow dry my hair. The coffee maker leaked water so we didn't use it. Luckily McDonald's is next door. The toilet rocked because bolts needed to be tightened down. When we checked out on Sunday, I reported the problems and was told they would fix them Monday. We have stayed here many times over the years when we come to St. George. It can use updating, the staff is nice, parking is easy right outside your door and a convenient location. It does get noisy at night from cars racing up and down Bluff Street.

Location was great. The hotel was very outdated, not kept up. Chain lock on the door was broken. Lights were burnt out and missed colored over the vanity and missing bulb. Didn’t work or light was burnt out. Key access for the hot tub door did not work. It was broken. Hot tub was cold. I mean not even warm. would not recommend this hotel.

At check in the tv didn’t work. The office was notified and a technician arrived to plug it in properly. Then it worked. There was no ice on the property. Reported to office, who said the ice machine was broken and out of service. The daily temps were 106° outside. But, no ice was available to all the guests.

We got almost 2 am due to traveling, we got our room and we sat to eat at our bed, when all of sudden I start seeing 1 roach by the cable box, then other followed, I was so disgusted, we try to kill them but no luck, I wanted to call the office but there was a sign of “no vacancy” at the office,I was so tired (12 hr driving) so I passed and fall in to sleep, the next day I went to the office so I can tell them what happened, the office guy at that moment told me:” those are roaches from the desert and we try to keep them out of the room, but it’s normal you know? And I told him, it’s a hotel and it shouldn’t have roaches, I want my money back, he keeps telling me that it was normal seeing this roaches on hotels , and I was like: so if there was scorpions or snakes on the area, it’s normal for a customer to find them at the room? So like stop complaining? Ohhh!! Nooo!! I left my phone number and left, what he keep saying was none sense at all… 45 min later the supervisor called me and offered a $30 dlls refund, that’s it, I was like” this is a joke”….so the hotel refund $30dlls so the app Hotels.com can refund this money back to me…

This is one of the filthiest places I have ever stayed at. There were old feces specs on the toilet that have never been cleaned. The walls can use some serious cleaning.

There was a roach in the room, period blood on the toilet seat, blood on my husband's pillow, and hair all over the shower. This was all discovered in the first 10 min after entering the room.

I was surprised to show up and see how dirty the place was. I took pictures of the mold that was in the restroom, to show the manager. When I called the office to tell them about the mold the gentleman just said "it isn't mold it is just fromt he humidity." I told him that is where mold comes from. Nonetheless, he did come to clean it up, and said he would grant a full refund for the room, which was really nice but at that point I decided to leave and find another hotel.

Room was clean enough. Some chips out of the wall and the light/fan in the bathroom was uncovered and had dust and maybe mold growing on it. Around 7am someone (guessing cleaning people) knocked then promptly let themselves in w/out waiting for a response. Fortunately had the extra lock on and they weren’t able to fully open the door. Had blackout curtains, but those don’t do much good when there are floodlights shining right at the window. Also push pins hanging out of the curtains

This was a huge mistake. We drove 6 hours straight to get here. We checked in at 10pm and tried to get some sleep. We had really noisy people around us and the road is extremely busy. We heard constant police sirens going off and honking all night. It sounded like a race car track and we were unable to sleep at all. My wife wanted to pack up and leave at 2am. We originally booked our stay for 2 nights, but we just couldn't stay there another night. It was a miserable experience and a total waste of money. The bathroom was is horrible condition as well. If you value sleep and a good night's rest, I urge you to find somewhere else to stay. This was the worst experience for our family and ruined our next day. Buring eyes and lack of sleep is no fun. Please stay away!!!

A convenient place to stop for a night while traveling. Nice enough, a little rough around the edges but this wasn’t expected to be a luxury hotel. Just a clean safe place to sleep. Only complaint I have was that when the guests above us walked around it was pretty loud.

However, the inn is on a busy road, and the walls seem thin, so we heard traffic, police sirens, and car alarms throughout the night. The staff was friendly; we have no complaints there. The inn itself is old and shows some wear and tear. For the most part it was clean.

This is definitely a budget stay, but it was comfortable and clean. The bed was great actually. Could the rooms use a bit of an update? Sure. But it was just fine, and I didn't have any problems whatsoever. Especially if you just need a place to wash up and crash for the night, this place works. It is also pretty close to great hiking trails, as well as downtown sights and restaurants. Parking can be a bit difficult.

This is the second stay in a row the owners tried to not honor my reservation. Both times they knew specifically that I was handicapped and disabled and they tried to get me a room upstairs and that they would not be able to help me and my room is not negotiable. I recently found out that this is a common practice that they do. They know that the room is non-refundable and they know I cannot take the room upstairs because I can't get up there, and then if I want a room downstairs which I specifically asked for and paid for, I would have to pay extra. They've done this twice and I'm going to report them to the state

Front staff is aggressive. They wanted me to pay them $100 deposit for one night stay, the previous week there was no deposit. I didn’t have the deposit money so I was turned away and would not refund my money for booking the room!

This is a great hotel in a safe area. I rented 2 rooms and they both were clean and the beds were comfortable. The manager upgraded my room from an upstairs room to a first floor room to be closer to my senior citizen parents. There are many restaurants within walking distance. I will stay at Claridge Inn again when I am in St George. Thank you

For the price and when you're feeling solo this is a very comfortable place to stay our staff is very welcoming and the beds are very comfortable . There's a Denny's nearby Burger King and the McDonald's next door
